Borschberg landed at a small airport in Kalaeloa, just outside Honolulu, clocking a total of 120 hours in flight from Nayoga, Japan. The plane, called the Solar Impulse 2, is expected fly from Hawaii to Phoenix, Arizona, and from there to New York.
