Morning all - back from my hols. Got lots to catch up on so I won't be back up to full speed for a bit but wanted to resume posting in a limited way. We stopped off at Blenheim Palace on our way so we could show the girls the splendour of the place while our annual ticket was still valid.
A location that needs no introduction... I've visited a few times before, but always in horrible weather.. so was glad to manage to catch a little good light as I made my way home from Skye on this trip - I still need a night/twilight visit here sometime though...
I had been planning this shot for a while, although I did not know if my final image would be a vertical or horizontal composition. In the end, neither worked on this occasion; however after sitting by the lake all night long, I wanted to preserve something that spoke of what I had envisioned.
This picture is essentially a composition of 4 images Two photos taken by me, the photographer and long exposure clouds. Two images made on photoshop, the planet and stars texture... All combined together to make an image not from this world... Hope you like it.
