MAKE YOUR OWN MINI PIZZAS + HOMEMADE PIZZA DOUGH

MAKE YOUR OWN MINI PIZZAS + HOMEMADE PIZZA DOUGH Mini pizzas on homemade thin crust dough + tons of topping ideas! These little bites are perfect for parties and fun for weeknights! One of the best things about knowing how to cook is that you turn whatever’s in your fridge into a fabulous, delicious appetizer for friends and family! With a batch of freshly made pizza dough, mozzarella, sauce, and a few of my favorite toppings, these little two-bite pizzas were easy to make and a total hit. Well… I didn’t have a chance to taste more than one of them, but if there weren’t guests to feed you could bet I’d have gone back for more! I like to make my pizza dough at home – There’s something that knocks my socks off about watching a bunch of simple ingredients turn into a puffy, cloudlike ball of bready goodness! Plus, you can add in dried herbs or grated cheese and give it a little extra flavor than the store bought stuff. Read up on how to get these perfect mini pizza circles in the recipe below. Now onto the good stuff! Sometimes you just gotta use what you got. This time, it was roasted red peppers, spinach, ham, and a thoroughly loved block of Asiago cheese. Oh, Asiago I love you. Onto the pizza they went, along with freshly grated ribbons of shredded mozzarella and a swirl of my favorite pasta sauce. You can use pizza sauce, too, or do it up homemade with your bad self!

Learning to Play Guitar Chords the Easy Way

Learning to Play Guitar Chords the Easy Way Updated on June 15, 2015 There are a ton of guitar chords. Some can be very compliated and others are fairly easy. Some will make you stretch and coordinate your fingers and for others, you will need only one finger. Some chords will take a long time to master and others will take you just a few moments. I will start you off with a few simple chords that can easily be used to play many songs. These are the chords I started with ten years ago when I first started playing guitar. Tips for Getting Started When you first start playing, your fingers may feel painful on the strings. As you practice, they will get calloused and tougher. At first, your fingers also may not want to bend or stretch the way need to. This will also be helped with practice. Don't try to learn all the chords at once, or get frustrated if you can't hit them quickly. Practice and determination are the keys to successfully mastering the guitar. Record your practice sessions you can watch and listen to make sure you are doing it correctly. If you have one, use a webcam focused on your fret hand so you can watch your fingering. Play each chord over and over until you are comfortable with it. Also try taking your hand off the chord and finding it again without looking. Do this several times until you can do it without looking at the guitar. Practice strumming two or three chords at a time so you can get comfortable changing chords. In this lesson, I will start you off with simple chords. As you progress, we will move on to more complicated chords. G Chords We will begin with the G chord. There are two ways to play this chord: The easy way for people who cannot yet get their fingers to stretch all the way, including children, is the simple G. The full G chord sounds better. You should strive to practice the full G, even if you can only play the simple G now.   Full G Chord The full G is played by moving your pinkie to the high E string, third fret, and moving your ring finger to the B string, third fret. Move your index finger to the A string, second fret, and your middle finger to the low E, third fret. Me making a G chord on the guitar. Simple G Chord Now for the simple G chord. In order to play it, move your pinkie finger to the high E, third fret. Move your ring finger to the B string, third fret. These are the only fingers you will use for the simple G. See the photo below. Simple G chord fingering. D Chord Now, let's learn the D chord. Move your middle finger to the high E, second fret. Move your index finger to the G string, second fret. Move your ring finger to the B string, third fret. See photo below. demonstrating the D chord on guitar.

Glazed Doughnuts Recipe

Glazed Doughnuts Recipe These glazed doughnuts are essentially homemade fried dough awesomeness that are easy, light, and old-fashioned in the best possible way. Glazed doughnuts. Everybody loves ’em. Even when seemingly everyone is paleo this and gluten-free that, you rarely see someone refuse a glazed doughnut. Especially when they’re homemade, hot from the oil, and taste just like the old-fashioned glazed doughnuts you remember from childhood. This particular recipe turns out doughnuts that aren’t quite as airy as Krispy Kreme doughnuts, but we don’t think that’s a bad thing. The doughnuts are less sweet than most, which means you can drown them in glaze and they still won’t seem cloying. Talk about our kinda doughnut. [Editor’s Note: Seriously. I can’t stop eating these doughnuts. This note may have been typed impatiently and one-handedly while attempting to lick drippy doughnut glaze from fingers and wrist before it plummets to certain disaster onto my laptop.]  How To Make Yeasted Glazed Doughnuts To maker her glazed doughnuts so wildly fluffy, author Lara Ferroni relies on a higher proportion of yeast than one would expect.  A neat 3 tablespoons of active dry yeast, to be exact. You could substitute instant yeast—not to be confused with rapid rise yeast—but you’ll need to carefully reduce the amount, explains recipe tester and baking guru Cindi Kruth. Instant yeast is what’s now most readily available in larger packages, AF and Red Star being the most common brands you’ll find at big box stores and supermarkets. At only $3 or $4 a pound, this is by far the cheapest way for home bakers to buy yeast. Kruth made these using 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast in place of the 3 tablespoons active dry and she was quite, quite pleased. GLAZED DOUGHNUTS RECIP

Neato Frito Over-Stuffed Burritos

Neato Frito Over-Stuffed Burritos  RECIPE NOTES: You are going to be testing the limits of tortilla durability with this amount of stuffing. Unless you can magically grow another hand, it’s easiest to keep the finished burrito closed by wrapping it tightly with foil. I like to boost the burritos flavour factor a bit by briefly laying the unstuffed tortilla directly over a low burner on the stove. I move it around frequently and remove it as soon as the side that’s facing up begins to show bubbles and the flame-facing side has some small charred areas. You’ll want to stuff and roll your burrito quickly if you do this so you avoid the tortilla getting  NEATO FRITO OVER-STUFFED BURRITOS

Homemade Chicken Nuggets

Homemade Chicken Nuggets These homemade chicken nuggets had the right texture, flavor and consistency of a standard McDonald’s Chicken McNugget. However, it still tasted leaner (healthier) probably because I trimmed all the fat off the chicken pieces. I used a mixture of chicken breast meat and thigh meat, hoping the thigh meat would add some extra richness, flavor and moistness after frying. I remember back in the old days, McDonald’s used to only use dark meat, that’s when I liked them the most. You can use all dark meat if you wish, if you do, let me know how they turn out. It was easier than I thought it would be. The process of dredging the nuggets in flour, then in egg, and flour again created a nice crispy golden shell.   Homemade Chicken Nuggets (approx. 30 nuggets) Ingredients:

How to Recreate a McDonald's Quarter Pounder

How to Recreate a McDonald's Quarter Pounder The Burger, the legend This classic McDonald's Burger is not to be missed.  When made at home, you can enjoy a delicious burger that you have always loved.   From the 1950's through the 1980's McDonalds was known for having a tasty hamburgers.  They were seared on the grill, today they are cooked on both sides at once.  The searing of the meat makes a burger more tasty.   With this recipe you can recreate this special burger at home.  Ground Chuck is a key ingredient The Meat In the United States McDonalds emphasized that 100% of American beef was used.   The fat ratio of this meat is very important, they use ground chuck which is 80 percent lean.   If your grocery store does not sell ground chuck, you could always grind it yourself.  Anything leaner will be too dry.

McDonald’s Big Mac CopyKat Recipe

McDonald’s Big Mac CopyKat Recipe McDonald’s is known for their Big Mac sandwich all the world around. Now you can create your own homemade Big Mac recipe. The Big Mac sandwich is known for its two hamburger patties American cheese, “special sauce” (a variant of Thousand Island dressing), iceberg lettuce, pickles, and onions, served in a three-part sesame seed bun. Now you can make this classic recipe at home. This famous hamburger was created by Jim Delligatti, an early Ray Kroc franchisee, who was operating several restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. This hamburger is sold all the world around, although does it have some variations in different places around the world. The one we have come to know and to love is the one that became popular in this 1974 jingle, “Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions – on a sesame seed bun.” The special sauce is really just a form of thousand island dressing. It isn’t made in the stores anymore. It now comes in an air tight container that gets squirted out like you would a chaulking gun. I will give you my person version of their “special sauce”. It is a fairly close approximation of the sauce. One thing I really like about making a copy cat recipe for McDonald’s is that you can add more beef if you like. For this recipe I am going to use a package of hamburger buns but

Dark Souls III

Dark Souls III Dark Souls III Throughout the game, players encounter different types of enemies, each with different behaviors. Some of them change their combat pattern during battles.[4] New combat features are introduced in Dark Souls III, including weapon and shield "Skills", which are special abilities that vary from weapon to weapon that enable unique attacks and features, at the cost of focus points.[4] The game puts more focus on role-playing, in which the character builder is expanded and weapons are improved to provide more tactical options to players.[12] The game features fewer overall maps than its predecessor Dark Souls II, but were created larger and more detailed, which encourages exploration.[6] The adaptability stat from Dark Souls II was removed in Dark Souls III, with other stats being adjusted.[6] The game features multiplayer elements, like the previous games in the series.[13] Plot Set in the Kingdom of Lothric, a bell has rung to signal that the First Flame, responsible for prolonging the Age of Fire, is dying out. As has happened many times before, the coming of the Age of Dark produces the undead, cursed beings that rise up after death. The Age of Fire can be prolonged with the linking of the fires, a ritual in which great lords and heroes sacrifice their souls to kindle the First Flame. Unlike the previous times though, this time the destined undead, Prince Lothric, has abandoned his duty and left the First Flame to die out. The bell is the last hope for the Age of Fire, raising previous Lords of Cinder, heroes who have linked the flame across aeons, so that their essences may be combined to rekindle the almost completely dead First Flame. However, most of the Lords of Cinder abandon their thrones rather than linking the fires, only one of them remaining, and an undead known as the Ashen One rises and takes on the responsibility of preventing an oncoming apocalypse brought about by the endless conflict between fire and dark. In order to link the flame, the Ashen One must return three other previous Lords of Cinder, as well as Prince Lothric, back to their thrones in the Firelink Shrine. The Lords include the Abyss Watchers, a group of warriors sworn to protect the land from the abyss and linked by a single soul; Yhorm the Giant, who was once a conqueror of the very people for whom he then sacrificed his life, and Saint Aldrich, who was forced to become a Lord of Cinder despite an enjoyment of consuming both men and gods. Because the Lords' decisions to leave, the Ashen One must return their essences and power back to their throne by defeating them and returning their ashes to the shrine. Once the Ashen One succeeds in returning the Lords of Cinder including Lothric to their thrones, they travel to the ruins of the Kiln of the First Flame. There, they encounter the Soul of Cinder, an amalgamation of all the previous Lords of Cinder who had linked the flame in the past. Once the Soul of Cinder is defeated, four endings are possible based on the player's actions during the game. Development Series creator Hidetaka Miyazaki returned as the game's lead director after not working on Dark Souls II The development of the game began in mid-2013, prior to the release of Dark Souls II, whose development was handled by Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura instead of the series creator, Hidetaka Miyazaki.[14] The game was developed alongside Bloodborne, but was handled by two mainly separate teams. Miyazaki also returned to direct

Played in a third-person perspective, players control protagonist Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter known as a witcher, who sets out on a long journey through the Northern Kingdoms. In the game, players battle against the world's many dangers using swords and magic, while interacting with non-player characters and completing side quests and main missions to progress through the story. The game was met with critical acclaim and was a financial success, selling over 6 million copies in six weeks. The game won multiple Game of the Year awards from various gaming publications, critics, and game award shows, including the Golden Joystick Awards, The Game Awards, Game Developers Choice Awards, and SXSW Gaming Awards. Gameplay While similar to the previous Witcher games, Wild Hunt improved on several aspects from past games. Combat revolves around an action role-playing game system alongside the use of magic. The fighting system from previous games was significantly revamped. Wild Hunt introduces some new mechanics, such as the ability to sense nearby objectives, people and resources ("witcher sense"), combat on horseback and at sea, swimming underwater and the use of a crossbow. Additionally, Geralt can jump, climb, and vault over smaller obstacles. The climbing mechanics were described as "not exactly" like Assassin's Creed, but "similar to what we have in Uncharted".[12] Item creation and potion brewing still remain as in previous games, but were modified from The Witcher 2 to be more forgiving. How To Diagnose and Fix an Overheating Laptop

How To Diagnose and Fix an Overheating Laptop One of the most common issues with aging laptops is overheating, something many people aren’t sure how to fix. We’ll help you figure out what’s causing the heat and how to keep your notebook functioning at a lower temperature. Overheating computers can cause a lot of problems, from seemingly random blue screens to data loss. You might not even know that it’s the root of your issues, and before you know it you have a burnt-out motherboard on your hands. Let’s go step by and step and see how to deal with overheating computers. We’ll be dealing primarily with laptops, but most of the same principles apply to desktops as well. Find the Heat Source Air Flow and Heat Transfer The first thing you need to do is figure out where the heat is coming from. No air flow means no heat transfer, so figure out where the air vents are. Are they blowing hot air, or is there barely a breeze, even when the fan is overtaxed? Most commonly, an accumulation of dust in the vents and fans through the cooling channels will be culprit in restricting air flow. Cleaning it out will work best. Turn you laptop upside-down and look at what you’ve got. Unscrew the fan doors and you should be able to lift out

Led Zeppelin biography

Led Zeppelin Rock group The member of Led Zeppelin have been called the "grandfathers" of the heavy metal genre. At their height in the early to mid 1970s, they frequently outsold the Rolling Stones in concert tickets. And by 1973, they had sold more albums than any other band worldwide. Their anthemic song, "Stairway to Heaven," is the most played song in the history of radio. Led Zeppelin was formed out of the ashes of the 1960s supergroup The Yardbirds, once featuring renowned guitarists Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, and later, a young studio session guitarist, Jimmy Page. (Page, it is estimated, played on 50 to 90 percent of the popular rock records made in England from 1963 to 1965.) In 1965, he joined the Yardbirds, having turned down an offer to replace Eric Clapton just a year earlier. With the Yard-birds, Page and fellow guitarist Jeff Beck pioneered the two-guitar style of rock. Beck left only a year later, however, to pursue a solo career. The band continued for another year and a half, but split by 1968. Page decided to form The New Yardbirds and sought new musicians. First, he recruited John Paul Jones, a fellow session player, to play bass and keyboards. Then, following a tip, he went to listen to a young blues singer, Robert Plant in Birmingham. Plant suggested drummer John Bonham who had played with him in the Band of Joy. The Who's drummer, Keith Moon, had said something about the new incarnation going down like a lead balloon. Thus, the name Led Zeppelin was coined. Led Zeppelin's first British show was on October 5, 1968, at Surrey University. An unexpected American tour followed that winter, when the Jeff Beck Group cancelled their spot on a tour with Vanilla Fudge. The band's ambitious manager, Peter Grant, took the opportunity, convinced all involved, and Led Zeppelin left for Los Angeles on Christmas Eve in 1968. Led Zeppelin signed with Atlantic Records and released its self-titled first album in February 1969. The band's sound had diverse influences, including the Delta blues and performers like Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf, Buddy Guy, The Incredible String Band, and Elvis Presley. Between Plant's incredible vocal range, and Page's utilization of the new technology of the time—including fuzz boxes, boosters, split pickups on his guitars, and super-amplifiers for the maximum distortion—the band roared into the underground rock consciousness. Led Zeppelin's best-known song, "Stairway to Heaven," first performed at a 1971 concert in Belfast, was from their fourth album—untitled, save for four strange, runic symbols. Led Zeppelin's fourth album was recorded at Headley Grange, a converted poor-house in Hampshire, England. Page and Jones wrote the music for "Stairway to Heaven" first, and Plant wrote most of the lyrics in one sitting. Plant later recalled to journalist Cameron Crowe in Led Zeppelin: The Complete Studio Recordings, "It was done very quickly. It took a little working out, but it was a fluid, unnaturally easy track. It was almost as if—uh oh—it just had to be gotten out at the time. There was something pushing it saying, 'You guys are okay, but if you want to do something timeless, here's a wedding song for you.'" The band followed up with Houses of the Holy in 1973. Some of the concerts on that tour were filmed for posterity and later released in the film, The Song Remains the Same. Following this album, Led Zeppelin started its own label, Swan Song. Signings to the label included Dave Edmunds, Bad Company, the Pretty Things, and Maggie Bell. In the early years, the band did not have a publicist, did not release singles, and avoided the press. While the idea had been to keep the band mysterious, the band became notorious instead when all their press had to do with riots over concert tickets and the band members and their entourage trashing hotel rooms. Nevertheless, album and concert sales climbed continuously. In the beginning, they made around $200 a night playing small clubs, but at their height were making more than $500,000 a night. After their fourth album, the band purchased it's own plane, nicknamed "The Starship." Crowe, in the liner notes to The Complete Studio Recordings, summed it up: "The Zeppelin attitude had something to do with Peter Grant, their brilliant and imposing manager. A little bit to do with the wicked humor of Richard Cole, their road manager. Something to do with John Bonham thundering down the aisle of the Starship, performing Monty Python routines. With John Paul Jones, lost in dry ice, playing 'No Quarter.' It had a lot to do with Page and Plant, side-by-side, sharing a single spotlight, ripping through 'Over the Hills and Far Away.'" In 1974, the band returned to Headley Grange and recorded a double-album, Physical Graffiti. The standout song on the album was the hypnotic "Kashmir," a song the band members claim as their favorite. (Rapper Puff Daddy teamed with Page and Plant as well as Tom Morrello of Rage Against the Machine to create a reworking of "Kashmir" called "Come With Me," featuring a 70-piece orchestra, for the Godzilla soundtrack in 1998.) After the album's release

5 free ways to spring clean your PC or laptop

5 free ways to spring clean your PC or laptop 5 ways to spring clean your PC or laptop If your PC or laptop is running slower than you'd like, try these five easy ways to speed it up. Think of it like a spring clean: clearing out applications you no longer use, removing temporary files which are taking up room on your hard drive are chores you'd probably rather not do, but they can make a big difference to any PC or laptop. We've explained the tips in detail for Windows computers, but the principles apply to any computer, so if you wanted to tidy up your Apple MacBook Pro or Windows gaming PC: read on. (In fact, if you have a gaming PC or laptop, you should also read: How to make your games run faster: improve fps) Before we dive in - one way to automatically, rather than manually, make your PC run quicker is by using a decent, trusted disk cleaner. It's often hard to discern which free online programmes are legitimate and which are nasty virus laden software. Not to worry, as we've just the ticket. Download CCleaner, a free, easy to use piece of software that addresses all the major causes of slow PCs to start you off. Then, follow these 5 steps! 5 ways to spring clean your PC: Clean out duplicate and junk files As any PC or laptop ages, data will fill up the hard drive. This in turn slows performance, as your PC has to go further and work harder to find the files and programs it needs to access. Removing as much junk as possible will help to restore your PC- or laptop's zip. We'll start with duplicate files. Typically these will be music or photo files. There's no downside to removing such junk, and the free Easy Duplicate Finder will speed up this process. Install it and follow the simple instructions. Now you can use Windows' built-in cleanup functions to create more space: they do so by emptying the Recycle Bin, and removing temporary and other files you no longer need. In Windows 8 go to the Search Charm and type in Disk Clean-up. Click on the result for 'Clear Disk Space by deleting unecessary files'. In Windows 7 Go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, then choose System Tools, Disk Cleanup. The wizard will identify the files it thinks you can delete, also telling you how much hard-drive space it will free up. Click 'View files' if you aren't sure which files it's pointing to. If it offers to delete a file you want to keep,

4 Tips on How to Be Creative in Undesirable Photog

4 Tips on How to Be Creative in Undesirable Photography Conditions     How many times have you arrived at a place and it just is not up to your expectations? There is nothing worse than wasting your time, especially when it was all planned out to be a good day. What a letdown. But, what if you could turn that around and produce something amazing? What if you can do it, and make a great photographic experience out of it? Well you can and it doesn’t take a lot of work, or a lot of camera equipment. There are likely many times as a photographer where you have prepared all your gear and scouted your location, only to arrive at your destination and find that it was not all what you thought it was going to be. Maybe the light is not what you imagined, maybe the building was demolished, or maybe there are numerous people when you thought you would be the only photographer there. Many scenarios could come up, and that is why as a photographer you need to think on your toes and improvise. So, how do you make a bad day of photography, turn into something meaningful that you can still be proud of? Unless you are in a studio, photography is a balance between action and inaction. What are the things you can control and what are the things out of your control? And in the moment of interaction between the two, how do you see and create your vision? The best photographers in the world don’t control more in the situation, they SEE more. So how do you see more in a bad situation? 1. Flip the script Be flexible in your photographic visions. You may have a favorite type of photography like landscapes or portraiture, but that shouldn’t prohibit you from enjoying other aspects as well. If you expected to shoot people and the streets are empty, then shoot the buildings. If you expected sun and it rains, then shoot the boy playing in the puddles. Don’t struggle to create what the place or situation is not. Change your own narrative to fit the situation. This mindset means you are not always reacting,

How to Build Your Own PC guide

How to Build Your Own PC Computing has changed a lot in the last decade. For many, smartphones have become the go-to method of playing games, staying in touch with friends, and browsing the Web for answers to spur-of-the-moment trivia questions and viewing cat pictures. When you need something more powerful, or with a bigger screen, you might reach for a tablet. And if actual, real work calls, the laptop you'd use is probably svelte, light, and stylish. Traditional bulky desktops are increasingly rare, and when you see them, they're usually all-in-ones, or decked out with designs that are meant to be noticed. Let's face it, no one really builds their own desktop PC anymore, right? Wrong, actually. DIY may not be all it used to be, but it's still a thriving sector of the PC industry, and one that any serious computer user—we mean the type of person who cares more about what a computer can do than how small an envelope it can slide into—should be aware of. Because, if you want the strongest, most adaptable, most upgradeable, and most personal computer you can possibly get, there's no way around it: You need to build it yourself. By researching each individual component's capabilities and limitations, you can tailor your purchases to your exact needs now and in the future. And if your requirements or your mood change tomorrow, next week, next month, or next year, you can easily pull out and replace as few as one of the pieces, and your computer is perfect for you yet again. Nothing else gives you this much control or satisfaction. Yes, you'll have to sacrifice some—maybe a lot—of portability, but the result will be something you can totally and deeply call your own as you never will be able to with an unchangeable system designed and manufactured entirely by someone else. Building your own PC is not necessarily an inexpensive or quick proposition. But if you're willing to devote the time and resources to the project, you will end up with the best possible computer on Earth for you—and that will make everything else worthwhile. Shopping for Parts The most difficult and time-consuming part of the PC-building process happens long before you start looking for the screwdriver. You can't even start thinking about assembling the individual components until you buy them—and that means doing a lot of investigating into the options (of which there are thousands) and, believe it or not, some serious soul-searching. The first, and most important, thing to consider is: What do you want your PC to do? Are you looking for a really inexpensive system to put in the kids' room? Do you want a squat, console-like desktop that will fit right next to the TV that you can use for streaming media, or maybe as a Steam Machine? Is a dedicated work PC for your home office the goal? Or do you want the biggest, baddest build that can play the hottest new games without breaking a sweat? We can't answer this question for you.  But once you've reached a decision, you'll have a better idea of what you need to buy and how much money you'll have to spend. And then you can get on to the actual shopping. For research and shopping, we highly recommend using Newegg.com. It has a dizzyingly wide selection of components in every conceivable category and one of the Internet's most powerful search engines for narrowing down your precise needs. But feel free to use your favorite tool (or brick-and-mortar store). The nuances of what components do, and how to best get them to serve your needs, is beyond the scope of this story. But the descriptions below of their functions and what you need to look for when shopping should give you a solid of idea of where to start in collecting all the parts you'll need for your PC.

The moon landing: Massive accomplishment or coloss

The moon landing: Massive accomplishment or colossal hoax? The first moon landing, back on July 20, 1969, was a huge achievement, not just for the United States, but for all of mankind. When Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin touched down on the lunar surface, it was a triumph for science and human endeavor, while also representing humanity’s first baby steps out into the larger universe. But for some people, some or all of the moon landings are also something else: A well-constructed fraud. Below, we lay out some of the conspiracy theories surrounding the moon landings, but please keep in mind: we are not promoting them as true. Last thing we need is Buzz Aldrin running wild in the Geek.com offices socking people in the jaw. The moon landing conspiracy First off, it’s important to note that not all moon landing conspiracy theorists are created equal. Some readily admit that humans have, since 1969, landed on the moon, and that only the first landing was faked. Others are all the way at the other end, contending that human beings have never landed on the moon. And, naturally, there are all manner of believers along the spectrum. So as not to go down absolutely every rabbit hole, we’ll be concentrating on the first lunar landing. With that out of the way, let’s talk about the evidence that suggests that Armstrong and Aldrin did actually land on the moon. First up, most obviously, there’s the video that shows the actual landing, along with footage of the rocket taking off and eyewitnesses that attest to that, “Yeah, they blasted off in a rocket.” In addition to the video footage there are also a slew of photos of the lunar surface, the astronauts and,

Brethren Persecuted

Brethren Persecuted  The End Is The Beginning Is The End The following article was originally written for Knight Templar Magazine, the official publication of the Grand Encampment of knights Templar (USA)   On 28 May, 1291 the Templars relinquished their fortified compound to the Mamlukes who had been besieging the port city of Acre for the past six weeks. The Mamlukes had actually breached the city walls ten days earlier, but the Templars were the last to leave the field, a situation that was a long-standing tradition with the Order.   The loss of Acre was not merely another crusader defeat, for the port had been home to the Templars and Hospitallers for nearly a century; having been captured by Richard the Lionheart on 12 July, 1191. Although the capture of Acre marked the passing of the era of the Crusader States for Christendom, the Templars suffered as well. Not only had they lost their headquarters in the east, they also lost their grand master, William de Beaujeu, who was injured during the battle and

Jamaica And About

Jamaica has long been a jewel in the Caribbean tourism industry crown, but there’s far more to discover than just beaches and all-inclusive resorts. Island Riddims With Bob Marley, Jamaica gifted us the first global superstar from the developing world. But he didn’t spring from nowhere – this tiny island has musical roots that reach back to the folk songs of West Africa and forward to the electronic beats of contemporary dancehall. Simply put, Jamaica is a musical powerhouse, a fact reflected not just in the bass of the omnipresent sound systems, but in the lyricism of the patois language and the gospel sounds

All About Cabbage

All About Cabbage Cabbage is one of nature’s perfect foods. It’s highly nutritious, inexpensive, long-lived, easily preserved, and rich in healthy phytochemicals. Cabbage isn’t flashy, like it’s cousin kale — kickin’ it in trendy smoothies and such. It goes about its business humbly; the business of being an incredibly versatile ingredient, of shape-shifting in flavor and texture in countless dishes. Yes, cabbage sizzles in stir-fries; simmers in soups, stews, and braises; adds healthy crunch to salads; and does wonders for casseroles, gratins, and meat pies — cabbage does it all, and for a bargain price. Kinds of Cabbage Cabbage is one of the “cole crops.” (Hence, coleslaw.) Other members of the family: Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, kohrabi, and collard greens. Cabbage comes in four main types: Green, red (or purple), Savoy, and napa. They have in commmon layers and layers of alternating leaves, each cupping the next, forming a firm, dense head — although the Savoy cabbage is a little looser, with more frill on the leaves. Let’s take a look: Red, green, napa, and savoy cabbages | Photo by Meredith

Apollo 17 Apollo 17 was the final mission of NASA's Apollo program, the enterprise that landed the first humans on the Moon. Killing Floor 2 As a survival shooter with only two modes, Killing Floor 2 is naturally short on gameplay variety. Yet what it delivers, it does well--namely, uncomplicated, arcade-style zombie shootouts. Staying alive is simply a matter of fending off the undead using whatever weapons you have on hand while effectively managing the space around you. And while its 12 maps are short on objectives and destinations, the drive to stay alive is enough to keep you invested in the action and immerses you in a deep character progression system, which makes your fight consistently enjoyable, especially if you play with teams you can rely on. While Killing Floor 2's wave-based combat is conceptually reminiscent of Halo's Firefight and Gears of War's Horde modes, the flow of a match is more analogous to Battlefield or Call of Duty. You're not tasked with defending a specific spot (only your team), which means the main skirmish will likely move around the map over time depending where the boss-grade Zeds come from. Whether you're fending for your life in a prison or a dilapidated lab, each layout presents tactical benefits and challenges. Farmhouse, for instance, features an open field where you can see Zeds coming from every direction--the catch is that Zeds indeed come from every direction. There's thoughtfulness to the maps' designs, which reveal strategic depth after you've gotten familiar with the lay of the land. These layouts present avenues for you to gain the upper hand, as well as some breathing room. But even with a strong position, Zeds continue to pose a meaningful threat. You may feel like a crafty escapee when you jump off a balcony or a mezzanine to create distance, until the moment you realize that Zeds recognize and use these shortcuts as well. You'd pat them on the back if they weren't so eager to kill you.

Drain and discard grease from the beef. Cut wonton wrappers into 2 1/4-inch circles with a biscuit cutter. Press one wonton into the bottom of each muffin cup. Sprinkle even amounts of Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and ricotta cheese into each muffin cup; top each portion with even amounts of ground beef and pasta sauce. Divide 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, half the ricotta cheese, 1/2 the ground beef mixture, and 1/2 cup pasta sauce, between the muffin cups and layer, respectively, atop the wonton wrapper; repeat layering with remaining wonton wrappers, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, remaining ricotta cheese, remaining ground beef, and remaining pasta sauce. Top the 'cupcakes' with remaining Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese. Bake in preheated oven until edges of 'cupcakes' are browned, 18 to 20 minutes; let cook in tins for 5 minutes before running a knife around the edges of the cupcakes to loosen the edges to remove. Garnish with fresh basil to serve.

Space And All About

Apollo 17 Apollo 17 was the final mission of NASA's Apollo program, the enterprise that landed the first humans on the Moon. Launched at 12:33 am Eastern Standard Time (EST) on December 7, 1972, with a crew made up of Commander Eugene Cernan, Command Module Pilot Ronald Evans, and Lunar Module Pilot Harrison Schmitt, it was the last use of Apollo hardware for its original purpose; after Apollo 17, extra Apollo spacecraft were used in the Skylab and

PC/XBOX/PS Games

AP In 2016, Microsoft quietly made itself the first big tech company to enter the legal cannabis industry. The Seattle-based tech giant did so by partnering with a startup that offers cannabis tracking software.

The startup is called Kind and was founded in 2013. The software Kind provides its customers, monitors and tracks seed-to-sale production of herb for growers, sellers, and government agencies. Kind’s software is designed to collect and process data to make certain that flower product is processed properly and in compliance with various laws and guidelines. The idea is that using the software will ensure that legal buds are sold legally and don’t go into the black market. The software also calculates taxes cannabis entrepreneurs owe when selling their products.

After Kind came to an agreement with the tech giant, Microsoft packaged the weed tracking software with cloud-based tools for various government agencies. There have not been any government contracts reported as of yet. The Kind software was initially attractive to Microsoft because they don’t touch the plant, reducing the risks still associated with age-old federal cannabis prohibition.

It’s well-known that dispensaries and retail locations are cash only, keeping in-house ATMs because they can’t accept credit cards. As a result, state tax collectors have to process a large amount of paper bills. Currently, there exists little to no infrastructure that determines how much a legal weed business should pay in taxes. This has been discouraging for several states when it comes to legalization. Microsoft and Kind hope to change that as much as they can.

As the future of legal weed unfolds, the Kind software could serve as a model to remove financial and compliance hurdles for cannabis entrepreneurs, while also enabling state governments to monitor sales. While Microsoft getting involved in this space might not seem like a big deal, it could end up being a significant benchmark for both the tech and legal weed sectors. Executives at both Kind and Microsoft hope that their partnership could serve as a success story that encourages more tech companies to get involved in the industry as more states legalize the plant.

“No one can predict the future of cannabis legalization. However it is clear that legalized cannabis will always be subject to strict oversight and regulations similar to alcohol and tobacco,” Kind said in a prepared public statement.

While to some this may seem like progress, there are cannabis activists that are opposed to this type of software, even going as far as considering it a form of spying.
