Grow an endless supply of sweet potatoes at home from 1 store bought potato. Place 1 sweet potato in the center of a container and cover with soil. Once sprouts reach about 6-inches tall remove 6 of them from the original container and plant in a 20 gallon container with drainage holes. Water regularly and after about 4 months turn the container over and dump out the rooted soil to harvest the new sweet potatoes. A 20 container should produce about 3 to 4 gallons of sweet potatoes.

Non toxic tomato worm control . I don't remember where I learned this, but I've been using this method for 30 yrs and it really works. Get yourself an old jar & poke holes in the lid. Fill the jar with plain white flour and sprinkle it liberally over your tomatoes. I've never had an issue with horn worms or other pests with this. I also use it on cabbage & broccoli with good luck.

I use garlic bought form the local grocery store and split the cloves and plant them about 2" apart. I end up with awesome garlic every year. :). When I harvest them I let them dry and then peel to whites and store in mason jars with no lid.
