our craziest month of product launches in empowr’s history

Now Launching: “Services”

Hello everyone,

I’m very excited to talk about the launch of Services!

Repetition is the mother of success:

So, before we discuss services, below, let’s do a quick recap on our recent discussions.

Recently, we discussed at length (in a post titled “The future of empowr: We need your vote”) where we think the world is headed:

We made the argument that, thanks to technology and automation, there’s plenty of ecomomic theory and evidence to support the idea that we appear to be headed to a world of abundance, where most everything we want or need, is in our hands fast, for virtually free…

… but only if we get to the future first and exploit the network effect for the benefit of the empowr economy, before other (strictly profit-driven) companies do that first.

We asked for, and received your approval, for a bold set of moves desgined to make us the pioneer in that direction. We promised we would start rolling out those items in the coming days.

Before we got started, we stopped to have a quick discussion about AMCO cash outs, titled “Where’s my cash out?”…

… because a few citizens were showing signs of confusion about how AMCOs worked, so it seemed like a worthwhile pause on our progress to address their confusion.

We were right; a number of citizens were confused, and some were expressing expectations that didn’t match reality, so rather than string them along -- by looking the other way while they continued in empowr with those unreal expectations….

... we decided to slow things down even further…

… by having yet another discussion about cash outs, this time titled “Is empowr the right place for you?”.

This time, we used a hypothetical example about a group of people that move to the Pacific Ocean to pump up dirt from the bottom of the ocean and create a new island country.

Our hopes were that, by approaching the topic in another way (using a story) these citizens would be more likely to understand the disconnect between some of their expectations and reality.

The reality is that:

1.  Thanks to the sheer willpower (hard work, blood, sweat and tears) of the empowr community – YOU -- the empowr economy has been growing at astronomical (record!) rates – literally doubling each month since last summer.

I can’t say enough about this.

Your success really goes to prove what can happen when a group of people put their minds to accomplishing something.  This wasn’t an easy thing to achieve and everyone gave so much of everything they had to this effort.

I am so very proud of everyone – citizens, success coaches and employees.

2.  How much cash goes out to empowr citizens is a fairly disconnected subject from the empowr economy:

Specifically:

When Joe pays Sally $100 (to buy something from her) using his empowr earnings, those earnings are not bringing outside (U.S. dollar, Euro or other) currency into empowr.

And then, when Sally takes those new earnings, and uses them to buy something from Henry, that event is also not bringing outside (U.S. dollar, Euro or other) currency into empowr.

And then, when Henry takes those new earnings (that he received from Sally) and buys something from Jack, that also brings no outside currency (U.S. dollar, Euro or other) into empowr.

… and so on, and so forth.

3.   On a side but somewhat unrelated note, outside currency into empowr has also been growing nicely, which has allowed empowr to provide more overall AMCO cash outs to its citizens each month.

4.  However, while the empowr economy (meaning sales between citizens) has been doubling monthly…

… outside currency (in to empowr) has not been growing at that same astronomical rate, nor was it ever expected to.

5.  That means that if someone had an expectation that, with each $1 they sold in empowr to someone else, they would receive an accelerated matured cash out (AMCO) in the approximate amount of $1, their expectation is a false one.

As the empowr economy continues to take off, the correct expectation is that the earnings they received (in exchange for products and services provided) can be utilized in the empowr economy to purchase other products and services…

… which is exactly how a functional economy works.

Just imagine:

If everyone that sold a product or service in, say, France, expected to have matching U.S. dollars given to them (on top of their local currency) the French government would go bankrupt in a week.

Can you see how unrealistic such an expectation is?

Make no mistake, empowr continues to be 100% commited to providing as much AMCO cash outs to its citizens as it possibly can, as it is demonstrating monthly.

But as the empowr economy continues to succeed…

… and the economy’s growth rate continues to dwarf empowr’s cash influx, it should be absolutely expected that the amount of AMCOs given per $1 in empowr sales, will become a smaller and smaller number.

Also, please remember that together we agreed that AMCOs should be used to reward behaviors for “what’s most important now”.

That is, as we move forward with the new set of solutions…

… that have been designed to address the top pain points you have communicated to us…

… pain points such as the cost of acquiring products, plus the hassle and cost of shipping products…

… it should have become very clear (from multiple recent posts) that Services, Sharing and Transporting will now go to the front of the AMCO line.

-----------------

OK, now, with that conversation behind us…

… I think almost all of you will agree that it’s now time to move forward.

As many of you have grown quite accustomed to, we will need to have this conversation again every 90 days or so, as we’ve repeatedly done in the past…

…in order to ensure that the few folks that somehow find themselves with unrealistic expectations, also have an opportunity to figure this out.

But that’s OK. Let’s consider it a shared price we all pay for educating new citizens and ensuring they have the right knowledge, mindset and expectations

Therefore, let’s get started.

Services

As you know, the empowr team has been working day and night to get all of the necessary features and improvements in place to build the empowr economy…

… with a goal of having virtually everything you want or need becoming available to you in the empowr marketplace.

The first of many of these improvements starts TODAY, by enabling all empowr citizens to:

List services now easier than ever before

Sell services locally (to those in your circle of trust)

Secure payment for sales with in-person validation

Hit Daily Goals and receive AMCOs based on your service sales

Why the focus on services?

Many of you have shared your concerns (pain points) about listing products for sale in the marketplace, including:

            … “I don’t have products to sell”…

… “I can’t afford any out of pocket costs to acquire products”…

… “I can’t afford the shipping costs for products”…

… “But I have a skill, talent or time that I can offer”…

Providing services to each other can often be done, with less (or in many cases, with little to no) out-of-pocket costs.

And with lots more services soon becoming available, you’ll be able to buy a lot more with your empowr earnings.

For that reason, by making it easy for services to grow on empowr, big changes can begin happening with very little effort.

Making it easier to list services

Of course, you have always had the ability to list services by going to the empowr marketplace and manually entering in all of the details…

… but now, with a new “List it!” feature, listing services (and even products, by the way) is about 100 times easier.

Here’s how:

Simply search for a product or service that you’d like to offer…

…  and then (if you find a service that you too would like to offer) simply click the new “List it” button – to instantly – magically -- list the same product or service into the marketplace…

… using the same photos, title and descriptions used by the original listing:

And since you’re utilizing a previously approved listing, your listing will be instantly and automatically approved for everyone to purchase.

Just make sure all the listing details are 100% consistent with your capabilities and wishes as a service providder, and adjust any and all elements you want to, such as price.

We’ve taken out almost all of the effort of listing a service.  Now, you can just focus on providing an awesome service to your customers and reaping the benefits.

Soon this process will be even easier as you’ll be able to see the most popular listings for sale based on how many people are offering them – all on a “Hot Stuff” page (more on that in a few days!)

Offering services locally

Unlike products that can be shipped around the world, with services, you want the freedom to only sell to people within a certain distance from you.

For example, if you’d like to offer dog walking or car washing services, you only want to offer that service to people within, say, 10 or 20 miles from you – not to everyone in your country.

So, now, with these newly updated buyer requirements, you have full control over who can purchase your services (and products) based on their distance from you:

As a service provider, think about how far you’re willing to travel to provide that service.

Getting and giving credit for a completed in-person service

Once a service has been successfully provided, the seller and buyer will want to use the new confirmation process, which I’ll illustrate in a moment.

By following this new process, they’re:

1.  Instantly marking the service as “Service Received”, so the service provider doesn’t need to spend any time tracking down the buyer at a later time

2.  Instantly releasing funds to (paying) the service provider

3.  Confirming to the empowr platform that the two citizens did, indeed, meet in-person, at the same location. This helps reduce fraud and enables AMCO cash outs for the seller.

Here’s how it works:

For best results, you’ll want to do the following using your mobile device, for reasons I’ll explain a moment.

First, you’ll need to visit the “Marketplace” tab, and go to your I’ve Bought page (if you’re the buyer) or the I’ve Sold page (if you’re the seller):

Note: If you’re using the empowr Android app, click “menu” in the navigation bar, and under the “More Features” section, click “I’ve Bought” or “I’ve Sold”:

Once on the I’ve Bought or I’ve Sold page, locate the service that you’ve purchased or sold, and click the “Actions” dropdown to select “Service Received” (if you’re the buyer) or “Service Delivered” (if you’re the seller).

As a buyer:

Once you’ve clicked “Service Received”, by clicking “Confirm” on the next page, you’re acknowledging that you received the service provided and will be releasing your funds to the seller:

As a seller:

Once you’ve clicked “Service Delivered”, by clicking “Confirm” on the next page, you’re acknowledging that you provided the service and are ready to be paid.

Once both buyer and seller click “Confirm” empowr will verify the transaction in seconds.

Once the transaction is successfully verified, both buyer and seller will be notified thatthe transaction was successfully confirmed!

Congats buyer!

You’ve received a wonderful service and are a happy customer!

(How do we know that the service was, most likely, a wonderful service and you’re happy? Stay tuned – I’ll explain that in a moment).

And Congrats seller!

You’ve successfully sold and delivered a service; the funds have been transferred to you, and you’ve even confirmed with the empowr platform that you did, in fact, meet in-person with the buyer.

And you truly enjoyed working with this customer! (How do I know that? Again, I’ll hit that subject in a moment).

Tips:

Remember – as a buyer and seller, whenever possible you’ll always want to confirm the transaction at the same exact time, with both of you at the same place.  Among other factors, both parties’ GPS locations are recorded, and this is an important factor in the AMCO calculations.

We recommend you confirm the service immediately after the service is provided, to reduce the chance of any issues. In this manner, sellers never need to work hard later, to get the buyers to press “Service Received”.

Also, for best results, you’ll want to confirm the transaction from a qualified mobile device.

Qualified mobile devices must be iPhone 5 or greater with an operating system of 8.0+ or an Android device with a Marshmallow operating system (6.0 or greater).

If the seller is not available to confirm the transaction for any reason, as a buyer, you can still move forward with confirming and paying the seller for the completed service.

As a seller, if you’ve provided the service and the buyer is unable to confirm the sale, you’ll want to contact the buyer and make sure that they mark the service as “Service Received.”

If after 72 hours the buyer still has not marked the service as “Service Received” you’ll have the option to file a dispute against the buyer.

Remember – marking the service as both “received” and “delivered” is a crucial step in the process, and it ensures that both the buyer and seller receive credit for the transaction.

As a service provider, always do your best to communicate with the buyer so they mark the service as “Service Received” prior to raising a dispute.

New dispute process

We have heard you! You are frustrated with the dispute process, and have asked us to improve that process.

I’m happy to tell you that a totally new, streamlined dispute process has been designed from the ground up.

And, the engineers have completed development and testing and – guess what -- it has just launched!

Expect a new blog post in the next 24 hours, about the new dispute process – after everyone has had a chance to read this blog post.

RATINGS are about to become EVERYTHING on empowr

Many people have commented about “bad sellers” and “bad buyers”. You’ve made it clear that this is an issue that you want addressed.

We’ve heard you and, as you’ll soon learn, ratings are about to become an incredibly critical part of being an empowr citizen.

Product or Service providers (Sellers, Sharers and Transporters) with bad ratings will very quickly find it difficult to get new customers, as the marketplace and even the profile feed stories will stop showing them and their items to potential customers.

Even one bad rating will hurt…

… and just a couple of bad recent ratings and they’ll find life getting much more difficult.

And the customers (of the Sellers, Sharers and Transporters) that don’t behave well, will also soon find themselves unable to buy much in the marketplace, as they’ll be blocked from bidding, buying, using and transports.

Even one negative rating will hurt them…

…  and just a couple of recent bad ratings will lock them out of the exploding empowr marketplace.

The result will soon be that virtually ALL the business will be going to the BEST product sellers and sharers, service providers and transporters…

… the ones that are most honest, prompt, effective, courteous and best know how to treat their customers with the respect they deserve.

And the ENTIRE marketplace (products, services, sharing and transports) will soon only be available to the best customers..

… the citizens that are most honest, prompt and respectful of the hardworking product and service providers, sharers and transporters.

In addition to blocking poorly rated citizens from participating in the marketplace…

…  the marketplace and profile feed algorithms are being redesigned to push the top-rated sellers to the top of marketplace searches and profile feed stories.

That means that someone with a 4.9 or 5.0 overall rating will be many times more likely to be seen and purchased from, than someone with a, say, 4.5 or 4.6 average rating.

Again, we have heard you, and we agree that it’s time to protect the economy and marketplace that you have been working so hard to build and make successful.

In the coming days and weeks, empowr is about to become a place where we’ll only encounter highly legitimate and effective sellers -- and only incredibly respectful and responsive customers.

Ratings transparency

Along with everyone’s ratings being used by the empowr platform to block all buyers, sellers and transporters that are not rated well…

… everyone’s ratings will soon appear at the top right of their profiles, making it transparent to all, the kind of person they’re dealing with.

Again, we heard you on this topic, and you’ve got our word that the quality of marketplace participants is about to rise dramatically.

Expect a blog post on this topic (ratings) in the coming days.

Right now, all you need to do is simply take a moment (one single click!) to rate each other (1 to 5 stars) as honestly as possible, after each transaction.

And this is your chance to start fresh with an awesome (5 star) rating, as a product or service provider, and as a customer.

And finally…

Services will now count towards your AMCOs

For the first time ever -- your confirmed service sales in April will go towards your May AMCOs.

To maximize your AMCOs from your service sales, you must be sure to confirm your sales with your buyer at the same time, and the same place.

If you are not in the same place, you will still earn from your service sales – but you won’t earn AMCOs from those sales…

… so be sure to communicate with your buyer to ensure you are able to confirm at the same location.

Yes, we know that this approach has a flaw – that certain types of services that are not offered in-person will still not be elgible for AMCOs…

… so we promise to keep thinking about solutions for how to accomplish that, without being overrun by fraud.  As always, if you have any ideas, please don’t hesitate to share them.

Services will also count towards your Daily Goals

Another feature we’re redesigning, based on your feedback, is the “Daily Goals” feature.

You’ve asked for more flexibility and choice in the activities required to hit Daily Goals…

… and we’re working on bringing you that.

For now, your confirmed ("Service Received") service sales will count towards the listing portion of your daily goals, exactly the same as your product sales do.

For every three $5 (or larger) product or service sales that are marked “item/service received”, you’ll be credited with hitting your daily listing goal.

Note: In order for your service sales to count, you’ll need to confirm your sales with your buyer at the same time, and the same place.

Haven’t sold anything recently?

As you sell more items throughout the month, the system will backfill your daily listing goal for any days in the past you may have missed – so that you are always receiving credit for the sales and transports you make.

Soon, you’ll also be able to hit your goals for transporting and sharing as well.

Earning a piece of empowr (with stock options)

As a reminder – over the next 3 months (April, May and June) – your stock option points will be tripled for every Daily Goal that you hit. If you hit 80% or more of the possible Daily Goals in that period, empowr will then double that final (already tripled) number.

That means that you could earn 6 times more potential empowr ownership by hitting your Daily Goals at least 80% of the time, in the next 3 months.

If you haven’t started on this yet, you should start today to ensure you don’t miss out!

Summary

I hope you agree that now, it’s time for this community to rise up and do for services what, together, we did for products:

It’s now super-easy to list services – you can now list many services in just minutes

You can be assured that only citizens that live close to you can purchase your services

And with the new confirmation process, you’ll receive your earnings instantly, as soon as you’ve provided the service

For every three (3) $5+ service sales that are marked “Service Received”, you’ll be credited with hitting your daily listing goal.

The new confirmation process also allows empowr to confirm that the provider and buyer were at the same location, based on their GPS location, helping to block fraud and opening up AMCOs to you

And with the new focus on ratings, the time is now to achieve 5 star ratings and become among the first to catapult yourself to the top of the marketplace directory and profile feed stories, making life much easier for yourself going forward

Any questions? We’re here for you.

Your President,
Brian Woosley

We’ve spent a lot of time recently discussing cash outs, and we can all agree that it’s time to allow our citizens to focus on other topics without having to read through a barrage of comments that do not relate to this post’s intended topic.

Therefore, I am asking customer service to join me in deleting any comments that don’t directly relate to this post’s topic: Services.

I would really like to participate in services but I will likely have to wait until more people are involved in my area. Or I suppose I could try to get more people involved in my area. :-)

Hi Russ, I don't see any downside to you bringing more empowr citizens on board!! ;) As empowr continues to grow each and every day, you'll have more and more people close to you who you can provide services to. We're excited at this opportunity for citizens to have another way to increase their earnings. Thanks Russ!

Thanks for the news and comment.
The same with me. I would be quite difficult to hit the daily goal through the Service feature since a few citizen found here in this small island in Indonesia, everyday I close loop almost with Singaporean and Malaysian citizens. It is impossible for me for face-to-face transaction. Hopefully there will be more people joining the Empowr in the near future. Thanks.

Dear President Brian and empowr staff,
Good morning!
I LOVE reading this new post.
.Honestly, I am much COMFORTABLE on SHARING of PHOTO BIDDING
Is Sharing Photos count he same as on Services you just post ? Are they the both the same as AMCO distribution for next month?
I am very attentive on every post you made and I really want to follow them step by step, my profile can attest on that!
Good luck, good health and success to all of us!
May God bless us all with the love of the Lord--- mady

Hi Amada, good morning to you, too! We're so happy to hear that you're comfortable with and enjoying Photo Bidding. This is a great way to increase your earnings as well, by making it easier to complete successful sales. When you successfully sell a product via Photo Bidding, this counts as a successful sale (granted its marked as Item Recieved). Successful sales can only increase your potential AMCO. As Brian mentions in this post (and JC mentioned in a few previous posts), services will also now push you to the front of the AMCO line. Both Brian and JC reiterate that providing a service, is much the same as providing a product. So, if you're completing successful sales via Photo Bidding, and are also providing successful services, you'll be increasing your potential AMCO. Don't forget to check out JC's post "Where's My Cash Out?" if you haven't already. Thanks Amada, I hope this answered your question. :)

Are Empowr citizens indemnified from vicarious liability?

Reply·6 days ago

Hi Jodi, unfortunately I am unable to provide any legal advice. empowr is merely a platform that enables commerce to occur. You are not obligated to participate in any commerce activity that you don't want to participate in. That being said, we hope that you'll try out services and let us know what you think! Thanks Jodi!

This seems to give a lot of power to the less-than-honorable or those who haven't taken the time to educate themselves.. So, is the 5-star rating system starting over fresh? ..I ask because I've had a superb amount of users who have purchased blogs from me and left the stars rating blank, leaving me with I think a 3.2 on description and communication. I write excellent descriptions, and for my blogs no one has contacted me - doesn't seem to me that they're doing their part at all, or they're only clicking stars willynilly, if at all. If it sounds like I have a lack of trust and confidence in other users, it's from experience..

Reply·6 days ago

I am looking forward to the Transporter gig, it sounds fun.. My other concern is the amount of users in my area - there are a few, but not enough to where I'd have, let's call it, job security selling my products and now whatever service I can come up with.. Transporting might work - I'm hoping it will.

Reply·6 days ago

Hi Chris! We will be working to integrate existing ratings into the new rating system - more information to come soon! Keep in mind, the rating system will be the economy's main way of weeding out untrustworthy buyers and sellers. It's great to hear that you're excited about the transporting opportunity, as well (so are we!!). As Brian mentions in this post, we're working on providing more ways to hit your Daily Goal, to give everyone options and different ways of hitting their goals and being successful here at empowr. Also, as more citizens join empowr each and everyday, this means that the number of empowr citizens near you is growing. We're looking forward to what is coming in empowr's future. Thanks Chris!

Hello Brian,
Thanks for this Update. I am looking forward to providing a service where I can test out this new feature. The good thing it is local so I can get back to coaching quickly. Thanks again!

Reply·6 days ago

Bob, we can't wait to hear how citizens feel about services once they start trying it out. We're just so excited to give citizens another way to earn, by providing something locally to other citizens. You'll have to let us know how your experience goes! Thanks Bob!

Reply·6 days ago

I love the transparency of the new rating system that pays us to be honest, respectful and prompt. No more hoping that we are dealing with a good citizen, the rating tells us that they have earned a spot in our Circle of Trust!

Reply·6 days ago

Hi Austin, that's precisely the intent. We know that many citizens have been concerned with the quality of both buyers and sellers - not knowing who they can trust to transact with. We believe that this new rating system will alleviate this issue, and provide the transparency that's currently needed. Thank you Austin!

Reply·6 days ago

Mila - at this point, there is no way to leave a negative rating for those who do not pay or for those who refuse to give you their address to complete the transaction. Also no way to leave negatives for those buyers who just don't bother to complete THEIR end of the transaction. Is there anything in the works to fix THOSE PARTICULAR flaws with the feedback system? If not, the new ratings won't mean anything. I'm hoping, but not hopeful, if you get my drift.

Reply·5 days ago

Sherry, I absolutely agree. There should be ways to deal with such buyers.

Reply·5 days ago

This is an awesome idea, let's see who works harder. I want to know if confirmation of service can not be done on PC but strictly phone devices?

Reply·6 days ago

Hi Godfred, the confirmation can be done via your mobile device or your computer! Thanks!

Reply·6 days ago

The dispute system will address buyers/sellers who unknowingly or maliciously post negative ratings? It says that even one bad rating will hurt; what does this mean for someone with an overall good rating and gets one disgruntled transaction?

Reply·6 days ago

Hi Julie, you'll always want to do everything in your power to make sure you don't end up with any "digruntled" customers. It's true that one or mutiple negative ratings could affect you, which is why you'll always want to do your best to avoid unsuccessful transactions. The easiest way to do that is to always communicate with your buyer (or seller) during all stages of the transaction. The more you communicate, the less room for misunderstandings and an overall negative experience. Thanks Julie!

Yes I would like to know when I was filling out the part on how many of what I had. This is really going to harm me cause,( if anyone remembers the crab with mother of pearl in it), that was one of the first things I sold, & only had 1 of them. Well after it was gone 8 or 9 months ago, it was put back up for sale at least 8 or 9 times. I got a hold of the people, some were very nice about it some didn't even give me a reply.

Reply·4 days ago

Not sure how services or empowr transporters are realistically feasible at this time in empowr's current state because I live in San Jose, CA (the third largest city in California!) but there are hardly any local people to provide services and transport goods to..?

Reply·6 days ago

excellent point..

Reply·6 days ago

Hi Brian,
It's a really brilliant idea. But the sales that haven't shipped , and have shipped, what will be the fate? Will it be counted as sale after item received or it has no value? Can you please explain me ?
Thanks

Reply·6 days ago

Hi Sudheshna, I apologize if I am not understanding your question completely. Your sales that are marked as "Item Received" count as completed sales. As a buyer, if you do not receive an item that you have purchased, and you've done everything in your power to communicate with the seller, then you can always opt to dispute the purchase. Does this answer your question? Apologies in advance for any misunderstanding. Thank you!

Reply·6 days ago

Sorry, Mam, I think I was not quite clear in presenting the issue. Here it was told that only services will be counted henceforth, my question is what will be the status of the products which the buyers have purchased from me and I am yet to deliver and vice-versa like which I bought from other sellers and yet to receive?
Thanks

Hi empowr team,

Is it OK if I provide a service that teach people make money online outside of empowr (like Youtube or Amazon...etc)?

Thank you very much.
Tong

Reply·6 days ago

Hi Tong, without seeing how you are promoting your service, I can't tell. Empowr doesn't allow any get rich quick or money making schemes, but if your service is educational, and not promising anything, then it could work. One thing to keep in mind is that you won't get credit for AMCOs or daily goals for those services unless they are meeting in person with the buyer. I hope this helps! Thanks Tong, and all the best!

Reply·6 days ago

I agree with this, Tong! It would be good to have those possibilities too. :)

Reply·5 days ago

Yes, this is an important topic. I've made several unsuccessful attempts at listing a class on Environmental Awareness as an educational service.. with no clear answer for what moderators are looking for, or what it is that they don't want to see it's been impossible so far to complete the listing.

Reply·5 days ago

Hello Brian!
This is definitely
Wonderful news, and new opportunities for citizens.
But in this connection it turns out there is no sense to sell the goods in order to earn AMCO
Or something I did not understand correctly.
Thank you for your not easy work.

Reply·6 days ago

Olga, thank you for sharing your concerns! Selling is still a crucial part of AMCO's there are just many more options of how and what to sell. You can sell near you and use a transporter or you can sell a service your especially great at. It is still crucial to get that 'item received' marked on anything you sell the typical way as that will give you credit! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts!

Reply·6 days ago

Please explain to me how selling is still important Delilah since I met goals EVERY day last month (most days hitting bonuses, as well), sold 8 items in February (ALL MARKED REC'D) and rec'd NO AMCO? I'm sure not seeing it.

Reply·5 days ago

В одном из предыдущих постов Джонни писал, что для Амко продажи уже не так важны, что услуги, перевозка и аренда важнее для Амко. Посмотрите, была такая строчка там.

Thanks for the update, Brian. I'm looking forward to helping to build the empowr platform. And I'm very happy with this new feature.

Reply·6 days ago

David, we look forward to you trying it out! Get ready for some service ideas! :D

Reply·6 days ago

Hi M Brain i have one question about service,i have a good knowledg about in photoshop, web designing, logo maker so if someone want to ask me that complete my desire project and when i completed their want so Is that eligible for AMCO .

I hope you understand my knowledgh will. thank you

Reply·6 days ago

Jawad, that is a perfectly valid service to provide! One thing to keep in mind is that you won't get credit for AMCOs or daily goals for those services unless they are meeting in person with the buyer. I hope this helps clarify some for you.

Reply·6 days ago

Delilah - As I understand it, you have to provide a "TANGIBLE" (physical) product to list it in the Marketplace. So please explain to me how web designing, logo making is going to be a physical product without being delivered digitally (which I was told was forbidden). Unless I have been grossly misinformed (by several DIFFERENT success coaches) digital products are not allowed. I would be SUPER HAPPY if I HAVE been misinformed, btw, since I could then offer up some spectacular products!

This (service) is indeed a great idea but still needs to be polished. I know flaws will come out along the way (as what other features had). But as what IEs says, "There is always room for improvement". So I am looking forward for this feature to be optimized (with less flaws) in the near future and finally citizens can have great benefit from it. I still have to test this out myself so I can share my thoughts and suggest improvement.

Meanwhile, I was just wondering if selling products has NOW lesser weight in terms of AMCO compared to Services, Sharing & Transporting?

Reply·6 days ago

Gerald, thank you for stopping by to share your thoughts! You are correct, all new feature will come with some growing pains. The only way we can improve on them though is for the community to USE them so we can see what needs to be fixed! :) Selling does not have a lesser weight but transporters and service providers will given the preference at first because they will have gas costs to think about. Transporters are being provided to help shipping costs for sellers which is why they will come slightly before. I hope this helps! Thank you again for sharing your concern.

Reply·6 days ago

Thanks for the response Delilah. You answered my question clearly!

Reply·6 days ago

Thanks Gerald, i was suppose to ask that either but i sawyou already have asked for it. It is clear now for me as a legit product seller that thing! Thanks Delilah for that great answer! Now you will still see me in the market place with 1,000% full blast! Great future will be to all of us in no time!

Reply·6 days ago

This is really exciting and can'take wait how it turns out. Indeed there are so many services that we can think of and hope will have more flexibility and avoid fraud too at the same time. Marketplace is soon to blast and we'll be proud of. Such a great idea and hope for the best. Thank you dear Pres. Brian. Thank you Empower and to all. Simply amazing idea.

Reply·6 days ago

Crispina, thank you for your kind words! Your support means the world and we can't wait to see what you choose to provide as a service! :)

Reply·6 days ago

Love the direction that Empowr is taking here.

It will bring people together to work together like a real live society.

I see why the system at this point must have each person check in at the service point close to the same time as possible through their phones to double verify their GPS location to prevent fraud which hurts everyone within Empowr when calculating the AMCO's.

My suggestion on that in the future maybe we could have multiple coaches/moderators review completed service transactions just like listings.

That way the majority of transactions that take place at a distance can count as the outweigh the local transactions and add a level of personal security of not having to meet face to face with a stranger who could be meeting that person for the wrong reason.

Building websites for people, online coaching, booking agent, virtual assistant and more can be done at a larger scale online than compared to meeting each person individually due to travel time back and forth. This increased volume of transactions increases Empowr Revenues and ability to do more.

Another way to auto-approve these transactions that take place without meeting could be by the sellers rating. There could be set minimums of having completed 10 or 20 transactions in person to qualify for auto approval.

Trever, these are awesome ideas! As this service feature is in it's first launch we will see how it works and what pain points can be seen (if any!) after a few weeks of the community using it. I will definitely make sure these ideas are brought to the team though! Thank you for your support!

Reply·6 days ago

Trever, your ideas are interesting! Hope they will be realized here.

Thanks Brian for launching great feature!

Hi Guys - this sounds really good but I have a question. I bake cakes on the side for extra money and would like to provide this service. My question is - if I baked a dozen cupcakes for $60 and delivered them or the purchaser picks them up will I receive the entire $60 in my AMCO ? Thanks in advance, Angela

Reply·6 days ago

Angela, keep in mind AMCO's are put together based on available funds. I do not want to say yes or no because we never know where we will be at the time the AMCO's are distributed. Please note you will be given $60 immediately in empowr earnings which you can then use on whatever you'd like in the marketplace! Stay active, have fun with it, and you can't lose! I hope this helps clarify a bit.

Reply·6 days ago

Fair enough but baking can get pretty expensive with ingredients - also if I was to deliver them would I also get transporter fee ?

Reply·6 days ago

Angela, great question! If you ALSO transport them you WILL be paid for that. :)

Dear Brian...Thanks for the update. And I'm very happy with this new feature...Way to go!

Puzzled as to how Buyer & Seller ratings will be of any use.? At present, there is only be the opportunity to rate those who complete a transaction and mark as received. Buyers who do this will of course all get a good rating, unless you have to chase them up several times to have the item marked as received. This then gives buyers the opportunity to get back at sellers by giving the seller a bad rating. There doesn't seem to be any way to make it known that a buyer constantly puts back items unpaid; or a seller never ships an item and it always goes to dispute (you can't rate a seller unless the item is marked received) Will the new system address this in a fair way? Will there be an opportunity to dispute a vindictive rating? I know other systems only allow buyers to comment after the seller has left feedback - which leaves sellers open to abuse for being honest. No other system allows for the constant dumping back of unpaid items. Just wondering what new checks and balances will be put in place? Thanks, J

Reply·6 days ago

Jodi, these are great questions! It's true that one or mutiple negative ratings could affect you, which is why you'll always want to do your best to avoid unsuccessful transactions. The more you communicate, the less room for misunderstandings and an overall negative experience. More information will come as we figure out what needs improving (if any!) and what seems to be working great in the next few weeks!

This is great....
Since I have pet at home, I should try this new service thing in my listing
And see if there anyone live nearby my place would love to have this transaction

Hi I have a question about how to be with online services, if I create sites, I work in remote access, since then, if a person is 1000 kilometers away from me, it will be considered valid or not. I believe in economics

Reply·6 days ago

Alisa, one thing to keep in mind is that you won't get credit for AMCOs or daily goals for those services unless they are meeting in person with the buyer at this time. This will still count towards your Daily Goal though! I hope this helps clarify!

thanks for the answer

Thanks Gerald, i was suppose to ask that either but i sawyou already have asked for it. It is clear now for me as a legit product seller that thing!

Thanks for this Update. I am looking forward to providing a service where I can test out this new feature. This Empowr-[ service system can be more similar like other website e commerce Lazada, 11 street and Shopee, just mention a little that i am very active to sell online. But one thing that i am curious is the costing regarding we do the services. virtual money i mean. Is 90 days to 'pay' the services is taken too long? As a seller i am waiting my money come back..you know what i mean yah ??

Reply·6 days ago

Marny, great question! Your funds will be released the moment you click "service delivered" and your buyer hits "service received". As far as how AMCO's will work in regards to this new feature, service providers will be offered more in AMCO's but not any earlier at this time. Keep in mind this is a new feature so will likely have some growing pains to work out. Thank you for your continued support!

Reply·6 days ago

Thanks for clearing most of the doubts in mind aboout how to use the feature. And also preety much in line with my last recommendation in which I request you about buyer's rating as well ! I am always on your side and looking to help people with offering best and services that possess information and value...

Thanks

Reply·6 days ago

Aman, thank you for your supportive words! The team is always listening to what the community is saying, even if we don't always respond back! ;D

Reply·6 days ago

I have a small engineering business and workshop where I can do some auto repairs and servicing. As there can be no set price for theses services, how would I go about making a listing that would be approved?

Reply·6 days ago

Good question, I was thinking the same. Service listings seem to need to be a fixed price eg walk a dog, wash a car, mow a lawn. Will there be a way to set an hourly rate? eg bookkeeping, personal trainer, cleaner
If an hourly rate service was possible, could you "Empowr" the labour cost and "real money" the parts? Complicated.

Reply·6 days ago

Ken, this is a great question! I would recommend, to start, initially setting the service as a finite thing, such as 1 hour inspection. As the team gets a better idea of what the community wants and needs, we can offer better functionality for sellers. I hope this helps a bit!

Reply·6 days ago

Not really an option but thanks for the reply - I would take up dog walking if I didn't live 20kms from the nearest town :)

Reply·6 days ago

Love the rating factor and how it will now play out.

It will differently help solve future problems.

I have over 300 plus items out of 900 plus transactions that I've done in the marketplace over the last 7 months that I've bought using empowr money and my own personal money from my PayPal account that I'll never see because it's impractical for that seller to send them to me because of how low they went.

These items would not only cost them more in shipping than the product itself or they were sponsored by someone that bought it at a really low price, for example, I've got a silver coin collection that I paid over $2000 for that will never arrive because the sponsor I bought it from only paid $15. The set's worth $5000 but because there was no other bidder it went low. In my opinion, when you know this we shouldn't even be allowed to put it up to sponsor it but you have no choice to or you have to dispute it and penalize the seller for trusting the marketplace with such a high-value item. I would have paid more but I couldn't because the other bidders dropped off. The marketplace place if jammed with listings like this where it's totally impractical for the seller to send them.

These items that go so low can't be sponsored because there's no way that the seller would even come close to getting enough, that's why I have such a high number of 300 items.

*****One suggestion is that Empowr creates an option that allows the buyer to choose to release the seller from sending them the item because it went to low, the majority of the auctions in that 300 I would even release the money I paid as I know the sellers just made honest mistake of not setting a reserve price. I know leaving the money within the system helps Empowr in the long run and the seller, rather than forcing them out of the marketplace place or severely affecting their AMCO with a regular dispute.

*****Another suggestion is that they allow the Buyer to give the seller additional money on top of the sale price when they know it went to low because the other bidders dropped off. The majority of the 300 items I won, I would have no problem paying extra to get the items, as I really would have liked to have the items. That button would be awesome to have, for it would allow people to share their success here on empowr with others, while at the same time driving up the amount of revenue within the system to help Empowr to do more, to increase the AMCO's

*****Next the one thing I don't like about the old system is that anyone can give you a bad rating for the wrong reasons and it affects your rating.

With this new system will you be able to object to a bad rating since it will only take one rating to affect your AMCO.

It would be great to be able to dispute a rating just like a sale since they're now going to carry so much weight within the system.

The coaches could use their position to agree to correct/delete a bad rating given in error or out of spite. The system could be abused by people trying to knock people off the top spot if there's no safety check in place for leaving a bad rating without justification.

These are just suggestions, as I love the mission and the direction Empowr is taking, and I have total faith through all the bumps and grinds Empowr will fully deliver on what they're promising as the transformation in the last 7 months has been phenomenal.

Reply·6 days ago

Trever, keeping it coming with the ideas! As far as your first point, buyers and sellers are able to dispute transactions if they are not happy with the item or the outcome. Your second point is valid but empowr does not condone outside payments so that would be rather difficult to incorporate but I will bring this up to the team! Lastly, it's true that one or multiple negative ratings could affect you, which is why you'll always want to do your best to avoid unsuccessful transactions. The more you communicate, the less room for misunderstandings and an overall negative experience. More information to come as far as the rating system as well so keep your eye out!

Hi i have a question, does selling product still count for AMCO?
Or is it now only for the new features listing service?

Reply·6 days ago

Awotinko, selling will still count towards your AMCO! Please ensure you continue getting 'item received' marked on all sales.

Reply·6 days ago

Wow, really awesome!

Reply·6 days ago

Service launch is a good idea but not without forseen issues

Reply·6 days ago

Well Done Brian, "SALUTE TO YOU FOR THIS STEP"
I appreciate this step with a hearty welcome also.
As I am the person who has suffered a lot for this service. I am an astrologist, Palmist and have been providing the services to many citizens of empowr since I entered but alas, I was not getting any benefit out of my service other than a "Thanks" Only.
This step will help for me and as if almighty listened to my problem and instructed to you to add this in AMCO systems and also updated the delivered window for a smooth transaction.
But there is a problem while clicking the 'service delivered' and 'service received' system is verifying and there is not an end of this process. Getting auto refresh and again the circle is revolving.......going on till the browser not closed.
Please look this tech problem. My money is pending for this. But adding this for AMCO boost up my business. I have got many scopes on this platform and in future also I will get. Thanks a million to you

Regards
Soni

Reply·6 days ago

Soni, this is a great question. If this screen pops up it is because the system is having trouble confirming this transaction. Please hit the hyperlink at the bottom that should state "buyer/seller Not Available" and your buyer will be able to manually send you the funds. If you do not hear from them within 72 hours you will have the option to dispute this transaction.

Reply·6 days ago

No Dear, I will like to get the fund through empowr only. I will raise the dispute and system will credit the money to my account. But please make this problem correct as soon as possible.
I will be happy Delilah if I can give you my service to you. Lol

Hello, Delilah Jones
Thumbs up to you. I followed as per your instruction and succeed now. Cheers

So the location it doesn't really matter as long as the provider and the receivers of the service are in same spot, that means the provider would click "service delivered" and same minute the buyer will click "service receive", but the location doesn't really matter where it is, as long as the GPS would detect the same location on same time, am I right?

Reply·6 days ago

Hi Imad, thanks for speaking out with your inquiry! Provider and receiver being in the same location during confirmation of "service delivered" and "service received", will ensure that this transaction counts towards the provider's AMCO and daily goals! Please let me know if I am not accurately addressing your question, so that I may assist further!

Reply·6 days ago

Hello June Hinton
Let me ask two things:
1. If both buyers and sellers are in two different positions, and have different time periods, how can both of you confirm at the same time? This we do not consider the validation location at each IP on each computer will know the different position on each account is okay. Only if the buyer or seller confirmed the phone but forget to turn on the GPS on the phone, what will happen, so can be recorded AMCO?
2. When the seller sends the product, the transit time is limited, it is not accurate when the product arrives at the buyer, so how does the seller know when the buyer will receive the goods and confirm

Reply·5 days ago

Hi Huuhung! Thanks for speaking out!
1. One thing to keep in mind is that you won't get credit for AMCOs or daily goals for those services unless you are meeting in person with the buyer. For your phone, we would encourage you to make sure that your location services are turned 'on' for your empowr app so that you do not miss the opportunity upon confirmation of receiving or providing your services!
2. Are you referring to selling items in the marketplace or providing services? Can you please clarify so we can assist you to our fullest? :)

Is the rating only going to be for completed sales? The fraud items are never completed sales so there is not a rating option. it just leads to a dispute and unpaid items.
I appreciate the work you guys are doing to make this place and currency more valuable by the day. Great job. Keep it up.

Reply·6 days ago

Hi Ryan, yes, ratings are for completed sales so you will have to pay for the item to be able to rate it. Thanks for the support and keep up your great work too!

Reply·5 days ago

Sasha - If there is still going to be no way to "rate" bidders who consistently DON'T bother to pay or verify their address so you can send them their merchandise AND no way to penalize sellers who don't bother to deliver on the promised item then your ratings will be as worthless as those on Ebay. I had hoped for better, fool that I am :(

Hello everyone,

We have VERY BIG news that we’ve just be dying to share with you.

As you know, a few days ago, we launched Services. You can read about that here.

And this morning, we launched the first version of product sharing & transporting. Please stay tuned for a post about those in the next 24 hours.

A key aspect of these new ways to earn is that they are local in nature.

That means that to maximize your earnings – to benefit from these new ways to earn…

… you need to have enough people around you locally.

Now, many of you do not live in areas where there are lots of empowr citizens… yet.

So, what can be done to get your services and shared products in front of lots of people – to bring you lots of paying customers?

Are you sitting down? J

empowr has acquired a massive marketing budget to promote your services and product sharing, to the people in your community.

We’re talking about many millions of dollars from a highly interested party…

… someone we all know, that wants to do good with his money and success…

…  that’s become very impressed with what you’re trying to accomplish (the empowr mission)…

… and even more so with your recent successes in growing the empowr economy 100 times…

… he’s SO confident in the future success of our marketplace in fact, that he wants to help it grow even further…

… and believes that with a bit of marketing help, it will do just that.

In fact, he has not asked for, and will not receive ownership in empowr (we didn’t sell your soul and future to investors)…

… and there’s no interest payments (this won’t eat up your AMCOs).

Don’t worry. Our community is not giving up its soul or anything else.

He doesn’t even want recognition for his assistance.

Just like you, he’s simply worried about where the world is headed, and – also just like you – he wants to do all he personally can, to ensure we continue to succeed.

So, how will all of this work?

Here’s how it works:

A.  List the services, and the products that you want to share

B.  empowr’s marketing team will immediately get to work, using the marketing budget to promote your services and shared products to the people in your area, using a variety of global marketing mediums that they have been very busy securing over the course of the last 6 months.

C.  As all those new people from your area join empowr in order to utilize your services and shared products, treat them well and welcome them to your circle of trust.

Keep in mind that these people will, at first of course, be new citizens to empowr. So you’ll want to be a extra communicative and help them succeed.

These people are, quite literally, your neighbors. As they succeed, so too, will you.

D.  As those new people launch their own services and shared products, even more of the marketing budget will be applied to your area, bringing even more customers to you and your circle of trust.

Simple, right?

So, what can YOU do to get the lion’s share of that marketing budget now – and tons of new customers?

How to ensure more of the marketing budget is spent on YOUR stuff:

Maximizing YOUR marketing budget boils down to doing only two (2) things:

1.  List tons of stuff

The more things (specifically services and shared products) that you have listed, the more marketing dollars will applied to promoting your stuff, naturally.

To get the marketing team and budget working for you, I would simply try and get 30 to 50 (or more) services listed quickly.

(To be clear, that’s 30-50 or more listed, as opposed to sold. I’m saying simply have lots of services or shared products available for sale).

The Hot Stuff page lists the best selling products and services – the things that empowr citizens are looking to spend their earnings on!

If you think you can offer the same service too, simply click “List It”…

… change any settings (such as price) and, voila!  Now you’re offering the same service too (but to the people in your area).

2.  It’s ALL about your Ratings, Ratings and Ratings!

You want to absolutely make sure that each customer you receive gives you a 5 star rating.

To be clear, the ENTIRE marketing budget will only be spent on the citizens (service and product sharers) with the best ratings.

Why?

It makes no sense to spend any marketing funds on anyone that doesn’t make customers happy.

Some citizens will notice that, if their ratings drop, they will have less new customers from all sources:

·         From the empowr marketplace

·         From their profile feed

·         From the new marketing mediums that empowr will be using to bring them new customers

I cannot stress this point enough.

It’s ALL about your ratings.

We have heard your guidance and feedback:

You have made it 100% clear that you want participation in the empowr marketplace limited to only the very best sellers, providers, sharers, buyers, users and transporters.

Tip: The very best thing you can do to satisfy customers – and gain their 5 star ratings – is to communicate:

Truly listen to them, especially when they’re not totally happy.

Let them know you care, and will do everything in your power to make it right.

If you blow them away with your RACE (radically awesome customer experience), they will be disappointed that there’s no 6 or 7 star option to rate you with!

The concept is called “reciprocity”:

As human beings, we cannot help ourselves but want to do good back to people that we think truly care about us.

If you sincerely care about your customers, they will feel that, and the rest will take care of itself.

 And that’s it.

Many millions of dollars will now be spent for you, promoting your stuff, to people in your local community.

Simply:

List as many things (services and shared products) as you can…

…  and when a customer comes your way…

… think of how you like to be treated as a customer…

… (you like to be treated like a king or queen: “The customer is king”!)

And with that thought in your mind, you should have no problem truly satisfying them and scoring a 5 star rating from each of them.

NOTE:  Even one or two poor ratings will drop your overall rating enough to dramatically lower your customer flow.

So, what if your ratings do drop?

If that happens, you’ll need to focus and work harder to get new customers.

But if you ensure that they are all super-happy...

… so that they give you 5 stars…

… you’ll be able to get your ratings back up to the top.

When your ratings get back to the top, the marketplace, profile feeds and marketing budgets will all start working for you again.

Quiet before the storm

The marketing push will begin in the coming days, in a small way, and then will start to gently ramp up to a higher level every few days…

… until it’s going at full steam.

Within just 2 to 3 months from now, it will be going at full speed, at the rate of many millions of dollars being spent each month…

… promoting the best empowr citizens, as determined solely by their ratings, number of successfully sales, and their number of available services and products shared.

So, this is the quiet before the storm.

This is your chance to get your services and product shares live…

… and earn as many 5 star ratings as you possibly can from each other…

… to unlock the marketing budget for you and your area.

As marketing effort and budget ramp up, you’ll already be at the top of your game:

·         You’ll already know how to totally satisfy customers and get 5 star ratings every time

·         You’ll know which services and products work best for you

·         You’ll know which services and products DON’T work great for you

What does this massive marketing effort mean for the big picture of empowr?

The objective of the huge marketing push is for the empowr economy and community to continue to grow and succeed.

That means more of everything, including more products and services available for you to purchase with your empowr earnings, more AMCO cash outs, and more citizens that live closer to you.

It will also mean more resources for empowr – so we can hire more engineers and attack all the bugs, issues and missing features that you deserve and have been so patiently waiting for.

Together, everyone has worked so very hard for success of the community, economy and mission — and this should help accelerate and solidify those gains.

And finally, it should help generate more value for your stock option (ownership) potential in empowr.

As you can imagine, keeping this news quiet has been really, really hard for us.

We are so excited to open up this opportunity to everyone.

The bottom line is that you have worked so very hard, and, based on the incredible results (100X growth!) you’ve achieved, you have earned this opportunity.

We’ll do another post on this topic in just a few weeks, as I’m sure by then you’ll have more questions, ideas and feedback.

Any questions?

We’re here for you.

Improving the empowr marketplace dispute system

As you know, thanks to your hard work, the empowr economy has grown 100 times larger in the last few months.

Along with 100 times more earnings for sellers, and 100 times more purchases for buyers, this growth has also, naturally, meant 100 times more disputes.

The dispute process has been frustrating for everyone

We’ve heard your frustrations - and our engineers have now launched an entirely new dispute system.

But first….

When should you dispute a transaction?

While the empowr dispute system is in place to help mediate any sale made on empowr, it's important to realize that filing a marketplace dispute should be a last resort – after you’ve done everything in your power to ensure a successful transaction.

Of course some situations are unavoidable, and in those cases a dispute must be made.

But as a buyer, or seller, you should always do your best to communicate with the other party first, to see if you can remedy the situation to the satisfaction of both parties…

… and provide each other with a strong (5 star) rating.

As a reminder, Ratings about about to become everything in empowr.

Only after you’ve exhausted your ability to reach a conclusion with the buyer or seller:

As a buyer, you should dispute a transaction when:

• the seller has failed to ship the product (or provide the service) to you within the agreed upon amount of time, but you still would like the product or service

• the seller shipped a product (or provided a service) that was not as described and you'd like a refund

• the seller will not fulfill delivery of the product or service and you'd like to cancel your order

As a seller, you should dispute the transaction when:

• you have successfully delivered the product or service and want to be paid for it, but the buyer has failed to mark the item as “Item Received”.

• you cannot successfully deliver the product or service for whatever reason, and want to cancel the sale

How does the process work?

Every empowr citizen has the right to dispute marketplace transactions (as a buyer or seller) if they are not satisfied with the outcome of a sale.

Once you've determined that a dispute is necessary, you’ll need to visit the “Marketplace” tab, and go to your I’ve Bought page (if you’re the buyer) or the I’ve Sold page (if you’re the seller):

Note: If you’re using the empowr Android app, click “menu” in the navigation bar, and under the “More Features” section, click “I’ve Bought” or “I’ve Sold

From there, locate the purchase that you want to dispute, and choose “Dispute this transaction” in the “Actions” dropdown menu.

To initiate a dispute, you must wait at least 72 hours after the product or service was paid for. This is to ensure that both the buyer and seller have enough time to communicate and come to a resolution on their own before disputing.

Should you attempt to begin a dispute prior to 72 hours after the payment date, you will be shown the current status of the item, and how much time remains until you can begin the dispute.

From there, you must select a reason for the dispute from a dropdown menu:

Dispute reasons for buyers:

Item not received: I still want the item

Item not received: I want a refund

Item received: Refund (Doesn't match description)

Dispute reasons for sellers:

Item delivered: Buyer hasn't marked "Item Received"

        Cannot deliver item: Refund buyer

As the initiator of the dispute, you should only provide information that relates directly to the dispute; information that may help with resolving the case quickly and correctly.

Once a transaction has been disputed, an inbox message is sent to all parties involved, including the buyer, the seller, the buyer's Success Coach, the seller's Success Coach and an empowr representative.

Your Success Coach’s Role

Upon submitting the dispute, both the buyer and seller will have the opportunity to add details regarding the transaction and why they feel they should win the dispute.

During this process, the buyer’s Success Coach and the seller’s Success Coach are responsible for reaching a decision based on the information presented before them.

Each coach will then make their final decision regarding the dispute – siding with the seller or the buyer.

In order for a final judgement to be made, both Success Coaches must agree on the same outcome.

In the event that both coaches do not agree on a final decision (or if a decision is not made by both coaches within a week or less), the case will be escalated to a top-level Judge who will make the final decision.

And that’s all there is to it – with a more streamlined dispute process, you should have be able to resolve any issues you come across in as little as 24 hours.

Democracy and the Judge

For now, May Ram, the leader of the SC program, along with several empowr representatives are acting as the Judges, residing over disputes when the two Success Coaches cannot agree on an outcome.

Soon, the judge will be an elected position, where you, using your democratic vote, will elect the judges locally, so that our community will have the final say in the judicial process.

As you may remember, you have asked us to complete a series of improvements (which we are starting to roll out now) before turning our focus to installing all the democratic mechanisms that will accelerate empowr down the path towards a true democracy.

Before we leave, I’d like to provide you with a few tips on how to avoid disputes:

As a seller, always do your best to:

Make sure your listing information is as accurate as possible

Ship your item as quickly as possible

Communicate with your buyer throughout the transaction process

        Provide tracking information

As a buyer, always do your best to:

Always read product and service descriptions before bidding or purchasing

Only bid or purchase items that you actually want or intend to purchase

Communicate with the seller throughout the transaction process

Mark the product or service as “Item Received” or “Service Received”

As I mentioned in my last last post, Ratings are about to become EVERYTHING in empowr

You should be doing everything you can, to bend over backwards for your customers, in order to achieve and maintain a 5.0 rating.

By doing that, you, your profile and your products and services will be seen many times more in the marketplace and feed stories.

And as a customer, you should be doing everything possible to make the sellers, providers, sharers and transporters super-happy as a result of working with you.

Why? Soon, buyers with anything but a steller rating will be blocked out of many, most or virtually all marketplace opportunities.

It should be our common goal to ensure every transaction on empowr results in a positive experience for everyone.

In the rare times when that doesn’t happen, we want to make sure disputes are resolved as quickly and fairly as possible.

With the new dispute process now in place, you can expect the resolution time for disputes to drop significantly, to as little as 24-48 hours.

Indeed, now that the new process is live, we’ve already seen the average resolution time drop from 25 days, to less than 2 days.

Now, let’s all focus on SUCCESSFULLY buying and selling products and services from one another in the marketplace.

If you have any questions about opening a dispute, ask your Success Coach and they would be happy to help.

Any questions? We’re here for you.

Your President,

Brian Woosley

P.S. For everyone that is asking what to do with previously created disputes, a software update will be released within the next 6-12 hours that will allow you to resubmit those disputes in the new system for a much faster resolution.

Thank you for your comments! Stay tuned for an update after the release is live.

Update: You may now re-dispute outstanding disputes that have not yet been resolved. We thank you for your patience!

This post is NOT about cash outs or any other topic but Services.

Is empowr the right place for you?

In my last post we attempted to answer questions about cash outs.

I promised that, in the next 24 hours, you’d be seeing another post, as we move forward with the next stage.

However, based on some responses, I can see that a few people may be confused about how empowr works.

In this post, I will:

1.   attempt to explain what I see as a major area of confusion

2.   ask some citizens to consider whether it’s time for them to leave empowr

Let’s get started.

For this post, I’m going to use an example of a hypothetical country. (All the numbers mentioned are simply examples too).

1.  A group of people are worried about where the world is headed

They see that half the world is living for $2 or less per day, while the 8 richest people have as much wealth as the bottom half of the entire human race.

They see that the problem is only getting worse, with more and more of the wealth going to the top people.

They understand that the underlying reason is that there is a network effect in motion…

…  that is now accelerating (getting worse, faster) due to network technology.

That means that, as time passes, the scales will continue to tilt…

… ensuring that the rich will continue to get richer, and the poor will continue to get poorer.

They worry that, as time passes and more people join the ranks of the poor…

… that eventually the masses of people will have no choice but to rise up and destroy the very democracies that, in the last century…

… at great expense to the human race (millions of lives & billions of dollars)…

… the world had succeeded at establishing…

… overcoming the fascist and communist governments that had created so much misery for people around the world.

2.  They decide to form a new country

They have some experience and understand what can be done with technology.

Their idea is to use technology to create a better, more equitable and fair country…

… where the hard-working people will be rewarded for their efforts…

… but where new network-based mechanisms can be installed…

… to ensure the network effect is working for the many, not just the few…

… in order to stop half the country from becoming slaves to just a handful of citizens.

Using nothing but a boat, a pump and their bare hands…

… they start pumping dirt up from the bottom of the ocean…

… to form an island in the southern Pacific Ocean, about 800 miles South East of Hawaii.

It’s a long and laborious process.

3.  As the years go by….

… and little by little…

… a pile of dirt finally starts to appear on top of the ocean.

4.  Some people hear about the project.

A few even decide to move to the pile of dirt, to join them and help them dig.

When their friends and family members ask why they would go to the trouble, they say:

“It’s not every day that we hear about a group of people trying to create something as complicated as a country…

… one that’s being built from the ground up to attack the growing inequality issue…

…  all the while saying NO to banks and investors so that the country can stay true to the reason it’s being built.

I want to join them and help them succeed”.

5.   Nearly 20 years after they started, an island country is starting to form

They have a currency.

A small economy has formed, with people buying and selling thing to each other.

Despite the lack of infrastructure…

… and with so many everyday things still missing…

… more new citizens are arriving.

They too, are concerned by what they’re seeing in their own countries and around the world..

… that is, growing inequality…

… and are ready to help make a difference.

Some volunteers are even acting as teachers, helping new citizens get situated and become productive in the economy.

6.  The new country has revenues

Some people that move to the new country, bring a little money with them (let’s call that money Euros) from their old country, which they are able to convert into the local currency.

The new country uses that outside (Euro) capital to pay for things it cannot produce on its own; things like nuclear reactors (to create energy), water pumps (so citizens can have running water and sewage) and light bulbs (needed to light up the streets).

But for the most part, the incredibly creative, motivated and hardworking people of the new country are able to build and maintain most of what they need…

… without needing to go outside and purchase many things from the outside.

7.  The country is generating more cash than it spends

Thankfully, the government’s employees have all signed up to work for very little money, because they all truly believe in the country’s mission and reason for existence.

The government is also able to keep its costs low because those same government employees are willing to work double shifts.

Some act as construction workers in one of their shifts…

… followed by another role in their 2nd shift – working as police, judges, garbage collectors, and/or office clerks.

Because of its low cost structure, the country has more Euros coming into it from the outside, than it is spending.  Let’s say that “profit” amount is $100,000 (in Euros).

The government is eager to distribute that extra cash to its people, which is the spirit of why the country was founded in the first place.

After discussing the opportunity with its citizens, the country decides to provide that cash as rewards to its citizens for doing certain types of activities that would most help the community.

The activity that makes the most sense to reward, seems to be the providing (selling) of items of value (products) to each other – in order to accelerate the growth of the local economy.

8.   Together, the citizens of the country rise to the occasion

In one month, they successfully sell $50,000 in products to each other!

That means that citizens (buyers) pay $50,000 (in local currency) for all the stuff they buy.

And of course the citizens (sellers) receive $50,000 (in the local currency) for the stuff they sold.

(To be more precise, the government collects a tax of 10% on sales -- or $5,000 – but we’ll ignore that in this example, to keep the math simple).

9.  The country distributes the “reward” Euros to its citizens

As mentioned above, the country has $100,000 (in Euros) to distribute, so it is easily able to provide $75,000 to the sellers (as a reward for selling $50,000 to each other)…

… which means it can provide sellers a reward of $1.50 (in Euros) for each $1 (in local currency) of products they sold!

To be clear, for each $1 of goods the sellers sold, they have already received $1 in local currency, which they can spend locally.

So the $1.50 (in Euros) that the country rewarded them, for each $1 they sold…

… is IN ADDITION to the $1 in local currency they have already been paid by the buyer.

Think of this addition as an extra bonus or stimulus package -- a way for the government or community to say, to its citizens, Thank You for their support and efforts to make the country better.

Now, the country still has an extra $25,000 in Euros that it has not yet distributed.

Remember, it had a total of $100,000 to distribute, of which it distributed $75,000 to sellers. So it still has $25,000 more that it could distribute.

With those extra Euros, perhaps the country can pay some citizens that attempted to sell something, but failed?

The logic with that is that at least they are trying (and it really wants to distribute that extra $25,000 due to its mission).

After all, those non-sellers successfully got out of bed many times during that month (an average of 10 days per citizen).

Many of them even opened stores and put things on their shelf, even though none of those things actually sold.

So perhaps these people just needed to be encouraged. And that’s why the $25,000 is distributed to them…  Let’s call that $25,000 “encouragement funds”.

When the government has extra funds to distribute, it must make tough decisions on how to best reward its citizens.

As you can imagine, this can be a difficult process because the government wants nothing more than for ALL its country citizens to be happy and prosperous…

… as evidenced by the nearly 20 years they have invested to make this country a reality.

If citizens are not happy, that would suggest that they have wasted much of their lives…

… at great expense to their families and, in many cases, their health.

10.   The citizens work harder, and the economy grows

A few months later, the local economy has grown from $50,000 to $1,000,000…

… meaning that the citizens of the country are providing $1M in products to each other…

… which means that they are also receiving $1M in products from each other.

The people of the country celebrate their victory:

They had set out to build an economy, starting with nothing.

They are so excited to see that their hard work is paying off!

In addition, they enjoyed $1M in products that they were able to buy (from each other) with their local currency.

And the country’s (Euros) profits have grown too!

The country has been able to increase its Euro “profits” from $100,000 to $200,000!

Of course the country is eager to distribute this profit to its citizens again.

This time, in addition to the $1 each citizen received (from buyers) for each $1 they sold, citizens are given $0.20 (in Euros) by the government.

(Remember, there were $1,000,000 in sales, and $200,000 in Euro profits – so that’s $0.20 that can be distributed as a reward, on average, for every $1 in sales).

A few citizens are not happy. They had grown accustomed to receiving $1 (from the buyer) plus $1.50 (in Euros) from the government (for a total of $2.50) for each $1 they sold.

In addition, this time every penny needs to go to the successful sellers.

There was no cash remaining for “encouragement funds” that could be distributed to support the citizens that were trying but not succeeding.

11.  The economy continues to grow

A few months later, the local economy has grown to $10,000,000

… meaning that the citizens of the country are providing $10M in products to each other…

… and also receiving $10M in products from each other!

Many citizens celebrate again.

Some recall how many years it took just to earn the right to call what they had built, a pile of dirt.

But now, citizens enjoyed $10M in products!

In addition, the country’s Euro “profits” have also grown:

The country has been able to increase its Euro “profits” to $300,000!

This time, in addition to the $1 each citizen is receiving for each $1 they sold, they are also rewarded with $0.03 (in Euros).

(With $10,000,000 in sales, and $300,000 in Euro profits –that’s $0.03 that can be distributed as a reward, on average, for every $1 in sales).

Some people are really not happy. A few had become quite accustomed to the extra Euro bonus on top of their selling earnings, seeing those funds as a basic “right” that they are entitled to.

OK, wait…. What was that?!?

Only a $0.03 (Euro) reward for every $1 they sold - in addition to the $1 they received from the buyer?

Who can ever be happy in this new country?

Let’s take a look at another real country, say, the United States.

When someone sells something for $1 in the U.S., and receives $1, they don’t even think about the government throwing in some Euros rewards too.

They are happy with the $1 they earned, because they can turn around and spend that $1 on other things in the economy.

(There are a lot of things for sale in the U.S. economy – that they can buy with their local money).

But how does that relate to empowr?

It very much relates.

If you cannot sell products in empowr, without requiring an additional $X in “Euro” awards from the government (in addition to the empowr earnings you gained from the sale)…

… then selling products in empowr (today, at this moment) may no longer be for you.

“But I have out-of-pocket costs!”

·      -- I need to acquire products from “abroad”. I need those “Euros”.

·      -- And I need to pay “Euros” for shipping.

True, understood. And very much appreciated.

But that doesn’t change the math one little bit.

In other words, just because you need to pay for the product, or have shipping costs, doesn’t cause money to magically fall out of the sky into empowr’s bank account -- that it can then use to reward you.

So, what can be done?

Here’s what we can do:

We can continue to work our butts off, to build the empowr economy, until virtually everything you want or need is available for purchase in the empowr marketplace.

And that’s exactly our plan:

A.   We can launch Services, so that we can provide services to each other.

Providing services to each other can often be done, with less (or in many cases, with little to no) out-of-pocket “Euro” costs.

And with lots of services soon becoming available, that means that you’ll be able to buy a lot more with your empowr earnings.

B.  We can launch a new earning “empowr transporter” role.

That will help sellers cut their shipping costs…

… which means more products will become available for you to purchase with your empowr earnings.

It also represents a new way for empowr citizens to earn (both empowr earnings and AMCOs).

C.   We can launch product Sharing

Now, instead of selling (and saying Goodbye to your products permanently) you can earn recurring revenue from your goods – by Sharing them.

And yes, some of you have security concerns: “What happens if my item is damaged?”  This is fully addressed by the platform, as you will soon learn.

When people Share products, that means that you can Use their products (paying with your empowr earnings).

D.  We can open up our platform to thousands of application developers to create hundreds of new ways for empowr citizens to earn…

… and for others to receive products and services in exchange for their empowr earnings.

This means that soon, you (whether you’re an application developer or not) can use your mind and ideas to create opportunities for yourself and others.

E.  After those things are live (in just the coming days and weeks) we can continue to work our butts off, reporting and fixing bugs and issues, and building missing features.

F.  And when we’re done with that, we can continue to innovate & invent… and optimize & improve, like we always have.

G.  And in the meantime, we can ensure that community members get a piece of the country – ownership in empowr

… because isn’t that why empowr was founded in the first place?

Not good enough for you?

Not worth your time and effort?

I can respect that.

Of course we are not where we want to be. Not even close.

Look:  When empowr started, it was not even a pile of dirt in the ocean.

Nearly 20 years later, we invented many of the things that enable social media.

This happened not by using a massive R & D (Research and Development) budget…

… but by the sheer willpower of citizens (employees, success coaches and citizens) working for mostly nothing for most of that time.

Blood, sweat and tears is how the empowr platform has been built, brick by brick.

Remember, AMCO cash outs didn’t even exist a year ago!

The bottom line is that, believe it or not, everything happening here is good news:

Your success is overwhelming the stimulus (or outside capital) available to us.

In reality, the stimulus (or outside capital) is going up nicely.

But our economy is growing at even faster pace.

The amount of products, services and other things that you can get with your empowr earnings are not only growing...

... but they are now about to explode at an even faster rate...

... with all the new enablers that are launching in the coming days.

That is exactly what success looks like, when an economy begins to succeed.

(To those of you mostly measuring success by the amount of cash you can extract from the empowr economy, I understand that this may not be reassuring...

... but to those of you that primarily judge success here by empowr's viability and ability to satisfy its mission...

... so that it might actually be around to serve you and others in the long run...

... this is all simply proof that you are succeeding).

Together, we’ve come a long way.

But we’re also not where we want to be yet.

A few of you are very quick to point out that we have issues, bugs and missing features.

That’s great! It’s really good to hear that you care enough to use the products and notice these issues (most of which are painfully obvious to us).

There are literally thousands of such issues. And we’re running as fast as we can to take care of them.

But with a small staff…

… purposely kept small so that funds can be pushed to you instead of more employees…

… we can get less things done per month, than a company with a bigger staff (that has simply taken investor capital).

Did you know that Facebook received over $1B from investors (that’s $1,000,000,000) before it became profitable and didn’t need more investor capital?

As a result, Facebook gives you NOTHING…

… and their 30,000 employees work for a salary…

… and for a purpose (whether they realize it or not) of making about 5 people (but mostly 1 person) richer and richer:

Good for him. Facebook provides a valuable product that benefits people and we wish them no harm.

But if you think that empowr couldn’t EASILY do the same thing…

… raise a ton of money, and turn its citizens all into slaves – getting them to spend all their time there, in order to create a handful of billionaires…

… you’re dead wrong.

So, your standing on the sidelines and yelling over and over again about this issue or that bug (that we already know about) is not always helpful.

So, what IS helpful?

Thank you for asking.

1.   Actions speak louder than words. Stop complaining and get to work, helping where you can!

Can you sell? Provide a service? Can you coach others? Share? Transport?

2.    Can’t do any of that? Understood. Then LEAVE so that those of us that can, are able to focus on the things that you need fixed.

Come back in a year or two and, I promise, we’ll still be here, and we’ll be better.

We’ll be MUCH better.

Don’t believe me?

Just ask anyone that’s been around for a year or two. Or five years. Or ten years… or more. Ask them about what we are able to accomplish, starting with nothing.

What’s it going to be?

Can you focus?

Or is this the end of the road for you, for now?

In my last post…

I attempted to make it clear that Sharing, Servicing and Transporting will go to the front of the AMCO line.

Did you catch that?

That means that, most likely, there will be no AMCOs for simply hitting your Daily Goals (like there wasn’t this month)…

… and probably less or possibly even no cash for product sellers – because cash will need to go out to people Sharing products, Transporting and providing Services.

For humanity’s sake, stop the complaining.

If this is not the place for you, I can totally respect that.

What I cannot respect is you staying here, and complaining, complaining, complaining…

… because you’re not helping, and worse, you’re distracting the others that are trying very hard to stay positive and focused:

So, take a moment to ask yourself why you're here.

Take some time to think about that...

    ... and then...

Please make your decision:

1.  You can do this.

2.  Or you cannot.

Sticking around but continuing to complain – well, that’s just a “leave” decision without the courage to be decisive and make the decision.

I’m sorry if I sound irritated, but I wouldn’t be doing my part if I wasn’t being honest with you.

We’ve come too far to sit around and let a handful of people ruin the mood for those citizens that are very clear about the challenges…

…  and simply want the opportunity to work on them, without having their energy, optimism and time endlessly drained from the small group of complainers.

Don’t these citizens deserve that?

I mean haven’t they earned that right?

Some of them have given everything they have to this project, and to you, our community, for half or more of their entire lives.

Again – trust me – we hear you. We hear your frustration and your paint points.

But now it’s time to make a decision for the benefit of the community.

I’ll hold off announcing what’s next and moving forward until the people that cannot be here, do the right thing for themselves and the community, and depart.

My respect, in advance, to those people, that raise their hand in the comments of this blog post, and say “I’m out. Goodbye”.

Your actions are highly admirable and we look forward to seeing you again in, say, a year or two.

You have got my word on behalf of the community, that we simply won’t stop until all the issues you’re aware of are overcome…

… and the platform has become everything you believe it should be.

Once the complaining has stopped, we’ll start moving forward again.

Where’s my cash out?

Where’s my cash out?

Hello everyone,

Some people are asking “Where’s my Cash out?” and similar questions.

Rather than answer such questions on a one-off basis, let’s discuss it together here so that the newest community members can benefit and learn.

(And then let’s get back to the incredibly busy month that’s coming everyone’s way).

In this post:

What are AMCO cash outs and how are they determined?
What kinds of activities trigger maturity acceleration, and which are prioritized higher?
Where’s my cash out?
Why am I not notified ahead of time?
What AMCOs can empowr guarantee me in the coming months?
What can I do to maximize my AMCOs in the coming months?
Why should I hit Daily Goals?
empowr is on your side
Are you ready?

Let’s get started.

What are AMCO cash outs and how are they determined?

Before we can discuss AMCOs, let’s quickly discuss:

What is maturity and why do we need it?

As you know, all earnings must mature for 90 days before they are eligible for cash out.

The purpose of maturity is to give everyone’s profits a higher chance of being spent on the things YOU’RE providing (that is, YOUR products, services and blogs).

When more of the things you are providing are being purchased, the empowr economy is stronger.

Definition of economy: Production, distribution and consumption of products and services.

Building a strong economy is a critical component of our mission “to empower people by enabling opportunity, hope and influence”.

The stronger our economy, the

A) more people we can help, and the

B) better we can help them

Summary: Maturity is one of empowr’s many inventions – and its main purpose is to empower you and make you stronger.

So, what is an AMCO?

AMCO = Accelerated Matured Cash Out

Every time the end of the month arrives…

… if empowr’s bank accounts have cash left over…

… empowr needs a way to get that extra cash to its citizens…

… in accordance with its mission.

To meet that need, not long ago (not even a year ago) empowr invented a way to accelerate the maturity of earnings in your balance...

… so that some of your earnings act as if they are at least 90 days old.

That’s why they’re called Accelerated Matured Cash Outs.

How are AMCOs calculated

As a community, we decided that, instead of simply spreading the cash to citizens equally…

… it made more sense to provide AMCOs to the citizens that were doing the most to build the empowr economy, based on what the economy most needs at the time.

When launching the new feature called AMCOs, we tried very hard to make it very clear that “what the economy most needs” will constantly change, as the empowr economy grows and matures… and faces challenges, opportunities and obstacles.

The first thing the economy needed was for citizens to start listing products (for sale).

As a community, we came up with the idea of “Daily Goals”.

Those goals included listing products for sale, as well as buying (IE: bidding).

The result?  Product listings doubled, then doubled again.

Then, they doubled again, and again and again.

In fact, in the few months since we launched AMCOs, product listings have doubled 7 times…. which means they’ve grown over 100 times in just recent months.

Next, we noticed that some people were listing products, but never actually selling any of them.

Therefore, along with simply giving AMCOs for hitting Daily Goals, we started carving out some of the AMCOs to reward you when your products actually sold.

The result? The sale of products doubled in the month that followed.

Then, they doubled again. And again. And again.

Next, we noticed that while sales were growing like crazy, the amount of sales actually being delivered to customers were not growing as fast.

So, we drove more AMCOs toward the sales actually being delivered (that had shipping tracking numbers) and that were marked as “Item Received” by the customer.

Once again, we are seeing the number of product sales that have been delivered and marked as “item received” by customers doubling month after month.

What kinds of activities trigger maturity acceleration, and which are prioritized higher?

So, which activity does the AMCO algorithms consider higher priority:

·      -- Item Received and delivered sales, or

·      -- Daily Goals hit

In other words, which (sales or goals) should get an AMCO first?

The answer is simple:

Whichever activity most shows positive proof of helping the empowr economy grow.

Let’s think about it:

If I hit my Daily Goal today, that’s helpful to the empowr economy.

It’s helpful because I have further built out my network (circle of trust) which will ensure that tomorrow more people will be more motivated to help me succeed (which is how the empowr economy succeeds).

Therefore, hitting my Daily Goals creates the potential for economy benefit, because it makes it easier for a sale to be made.

If, however, my activities result in a successful sale and delivery to a customer…

… well, then, that’s no longer just potential for the economy to benefit … it’s actually fully-realized benefit for the economy.

Remember, the definition of economy is the Production, distribution and consumption of products and services.

Item Received products were clearly “produced, distributed and consumed” – whereas Daily Goals create the potential for that.

It’s easy to see how the algorithms view an Item Received sale as higher priority…

… for an AMCO cash out reward…

… than a Daily Goal hit.

So, as “Item Received” sales double yet again…

…  the amount of cash the algorithms pay out (as AMCOs) for those sales also double.

This time, by the time the algorithms paid out the AMCOs for your Item Received sales…

… there was no extra cash remaining to provide to people that had hit Daily Goals but did not have any successful Item Received sales.

Does this make sense to you? And does that order of priority make the most sense to you?

Or do you think it makes more sense to take cash away from the people that hit their Daily Goals -- where those activities resulted in sales…

… and instead give the cash to the people that hit goals that DID NOT result in sales?

Hopefully you’ll agree that the answer to my question is obvious.

Summary:

The empowr economy is growing rapidly – and the number of products available to you to purchase with your empowr earnings is growing rapidly.

And guess what?

The key to unlocking the marketplace…

… so you can use much of your profits to shop…

… is actually (and very specifically) by hitting your Daily Goals.

Remember:

The more of your Daily Goals you hit, the higher the % of your profits you can use to shop

So, while (at first glance) it seems sad that AMCOs weren’t available last week to people that simply hit their Daily Goals (but didn’t succeed at selling anything)…

… because the cash needed to be allocated to product sellers…

… if you take a closer look, it’s actually very good news for both YOU, personally, as well as the empowr economy, community and mission:

It’s good news for the empowr economy because it means we are succeeding.

All that work you have done was not for nothing.

And it’s good news for you on a personal level, because it means that the amount of good products -- that people are actually willing to spend their earnings on -- is growing rapidly.

That means that your empowr earnings are becoming more and more valuable (useful) for you.

All that work that you are doing is not for nothing.

Where’s my cash out?

Didn’t get a cash out? Perhaps you had only hit Daily Goals but did not actually provide a product that was marked as Item Received by a customer?

If so, after all the cash was distributed to the people that had Item Received sales, none was left for you. We are truly sorry about that.

Why am I not notified ahead of time?

As soon as the algorithms complete their calculations, after a quick review (by humans) the AMCOs are distributed.

There is no time to notify you weeks, or even days, ahead of time.

What AMCOs can empowr guarantee me in the coming months?

If your plan is to hit Daily Goals but not actually have your listings result in sales (that are Item Received by customers)…

… then there can be no assurances that you’ll receive any AMCOs next month.

As I’ve said many times before, there can actually be no guarantees that AMCOs will be distributed to anyone…

… because empowr cannot predict how many people will do each of the activities that result in AMCOs ahead of time.

It is simply impossible for empowr to guarantee AMCO cash outs.

And even though we’ve always had the pleasure of distributing AMCOs every month since the month it started, if I were a betting man, I would predict that there will most likely be month(s) where little or no AMCOs can be distributed.

Hopefully everything will continue to get better and better, but there will be serious issues (and opportunities) coming our way that we simply cannot predict.

As an example of opportunities headed our way, just consider the AMCOs that will be needed to pay Sharers, Service providers and Transporters.

This cash will not just materialize out of thin air.

I hope you are hearing me.

Please, everyone, remember that empowr is still an alpha phase start-up…

… one that uniquely is trying to do it ALL…

… with NO investor capital.

Look:

We can and will do this.

We can and will succeed.

But the road will surely not be as smooth as many are growing to expect given recent successes and growth – even though we will try as hard as we can to make it so.

And even though AMCOs are based on available funds and empowr doesn’t utilize any outside investor funding…

… there are plenty of reasons to believe that the upcoming features we’ve discussed are going to be yet another multiplier for the empowr economy.

So, let’s prepare for the worst… but then hope for the best…

… as there is A LOT to be optimistic about.

What can I do to maximize my AMCOs in the coming months?

As you know, in the coming days two (2) new earning roles are being rolled out:

1.  Sharing (of products)

2.  Transporting

(Expect a post on the above, in as early as 24-48 hours from right now).

In addition, recently we announced that AMCOs will soon be provided to people offering Services.

That has not started but will in the coming days. Expect another post on that topic too, momentarily.

You can naturally expect these new roles to get a seat at the front of the AMCO line…

… as together, we look to do everything we can to ensure these roles also succeed…

… so that great products become available for empowr citizens (YOU) to Use -- in addition to Buy…

… and so that Sharers, Sellers, Users and Buyers (YOU) can enjoy super-fast and near-free transportation of goods -- as opposed to slow, expensive and cumbersome shipping…

… and so all empowr citizens (YOU) can use their empowr profits to enjoy all sorts of services (Massage? Car wash? Cooking? House painting? Babysitting?.....?)

Summary:

Expect more AMCOs (cash) to be go to Sharers, Transporters and Service providers… as these new activities join the AMCO payout queue.

(You might also expect that these things will result in more new citizens, bringing more cash into empowr… cash that, in turn, is spent for -- or goes out to -- YOU).

Oh, before I forget:

Next month (May, 2017) the 6th and 7th of May fall on a Saturday and Sunday.  With all the new things rolling into the AMCO process, we want to be extra cautious and ensure that the empowr analysts and engineers are carefully examining the AMCOs before they go out.

So therefore, next month (May) only, please expect AMCOs to be late (Weds May 10th, please).

I can assure you that if empowr can beat those dates, it will.

So, why should I hit Daily Goals?

1.  Daily Goals are how we gain access to all those goodies (that the AMCOs are enabling)!

Each day you hit your Daily Goal, the % of your profits that can be used in the empowr marketplace increases.

And each day you miss your goal, that % decreases.

If you’re not enjoying (shopping in) the empowr marketplace, I can assure you, someone else is.

How do I know this?

Because, like I said, shopping is doubling monthly.

A lot of people are not missing out on all the good stuff being listed in the marketplace.

If you’re not shopping, you’re leaving it all for others to enjoy.

So, instead of just waiting for cash outs, why not make a point to also enjoy the fruit of your labor?

When you don’t, others appreciate that, of course, because it means more products (and soon, services, product uses and transports) are available for them.

So, don’t miss out. Hit your Daily Goals to enjoy the rapidly expanding empowr marketplace.

2.  Hitting Daily Goals is much easier

Did you notice that the bidding section of the Daily Goals is missing?  It’s simply much easier to hit your goals now.

And it’s about to get even easier, when your Service sales, Transports and Coaching – and even your product Sharing -- begin to count towards the listing portion of your Daily Goal.

3.  Stock option points

I cannot stress this point enough. If you like cash, and if you believe in empowr, you’ll want to get your hands on as much empowr shares as possible. Use your vision to understand what can happen.

As announced last week, all Daily Goals hit in the months of April, May and June will have their stock option points tripled. And that number will be further doubled if you hit most of your Daily Goals.  Please refresh yourself on the details near the bottom of this post.

Summary:

Like in any economy or situation, of course there will be times, when you don't feel like you're getting as much out of empowr as you’re putting in.

I would ask a person that feels that way:  Do you feel that way because of the cash outs alone?

Have you attempted to buy products and services -- and what happened?

If you’re not shopping, of course you're not going to get anything out in terms of products and services.

To get the most out of the growing empowr economy, be sure to hit your Daily Goals, and shop.

Is there not enough stuff for sale in empowr, that you want to buy?

Look again: it’s getting better and better by the week and month.

empowr is on your side

I know it can be frustrating to expect and hope for lots of cash, and then not receive it.

My advice:

1.  Focus on the future, lower your short-term expectations and you won’t be disappointed

We have many issues, bugs, body blows and difficulties ahead of us – as a community and as individual citizens going through our own challenges.

If the pain of being in an alpha-phase experiment like empowr is too much to bear, I can completely understand that.

Over the years we have lost many really amazing and talented employees who reached the end of their ropes.

We get it… this is hard.

If you keep focused on the long term, if that’s possible for you to do, you’re much more likely to not be disappointed.

Changing the world is always difficult – just read the stories of any group of people in history that ever did.

But it is the difficulties that, in the end, define your accomplishments and make your life one that was worth living.

You’ll look back at these times with the most pride and with the fondest memories, specifically because it was hard.

Hard as it is, let’s try and enjoy this process, as someday…

… when, together, we’ve built empowr to be a very successful entity that is fulfilling its mission…

… we just might look back at this stage, and wonder why (as hard as what we’re facing currently is today) we weren’t taking a moment to enjoy the journey more.

2.  Try and remember that empowr is on your side

We’re right here with you.

Like many of you that have worked so very hard, for months or for years…

… all of us employees have also given up the good life, in exchange for months or years of working for no or low pay…

… all for the privilege of working with you on this mission to make the world a better place.

We feel your pain.

And that is why we’re very focused on bringing all this change:

It’s all meant to address, and turn around, your and everyone’s top pain points.

We won’t stop until that pain is turned into joy, opportunity, and power.

Are you ready?

A revolution awaits us. And we're ready to go.

Are you ready to go?

Any questions? We’re here for you.

(After we're finished discussing and digesting this topic, let’s get started with what might be our craziest month of product launches in empowr’s history).

The future of empowr: We need your vote

Hello everyone,

Throughout the history of the empowr project, about once every few years, together we’ve engaged in important discussions that resulted in very big changes in empowr...

… in everything from the product features, to the community policies and methods.

Today, I believe, is another one of these days.

We have a lot to talk about. And we’re going to need your input.

My apologies to you, in advance, for the length of this post

May I suggest taking a couple of coffee breaks in the middle of reading this, or complete it on different days, so that you can pay very close attention?

When we’re done discussing this, I believe that much of what we do together here at empowr may be changing, dramatically, forever.

To understand the direction we’re considering, we’ll need to first discuss a little bit of economic theory. I promise I’ll keep it simple and quick.

Then, I’ll tell you a brief real-life story about someone famous you’ve probably heard of – a story that I think may surprise you.

After that, with the economics and related story as a backdrop, we’ll discuss what those concepts might mean for our future here in the empowr community, the timing and the results we’re trying to achieve.

And then, we’ll need your vote and your thoughts.

Let’s get started

First, let’s discuss some economic theory.

It’ll be quick and painless, I promise.

Most of us have heard of the economic theory of “Supply and Demand”.

It suggests that the price of something is based on the combination of:

… the supply (availability) of an item in the marketplace…

… and the demand (how much it is desired) that it enjoys in the marketplace.

Lately, economists have been having a hard time using this theory to explain why the cost of many items are falling dramatically.

For example, the cost of electronics, such as cameras and computers, have been falling year over year, even as the demand for those products has increased significantly.

The theory of supply and demand would have predicted that the price of those items would have increased dramatically as the demand for them exploded in recent years.

This old theory is no longer convincingly explaining what’s happening with a growing portion of our economy.

A different economic theory

For decades now, many economists have been arguing that a different theory better explains how items find their pricing.

The Labor Theory of Value argues that the economic value (or price) of a good or service is determined by adding up the total amount of socially necessary labor required to produce it.

So, according to this economic theory, the price of a shirt is determined by how much labor when into making it.

Let’s say the shirt is handmade in Bangladesh by a young lady in a factory.

The price that the shirt will sell for, will include the cost of paying that lady to make the shirt.

The shirt is made of cotton, which the factory purchased from a local cotton provider.

According to the theory, the price that the factory paid for the cotton was arrived at by calculating the cost of any human labor it took to pick and prepare the cotton, plus the cost of delivering it to the factory (which included paying a truck driver and warehouse worker).

After the shirt was made, it was transported to New York City, where it was marketed to a retail store.

Of course, the price of the shirt was increased to add in the labor cost of the people transporting the item to New York, along with the marketing and other people working to make the shirt available at the retail store.

The retail clerk that works the cash register is also getting paid, and her salary must also work its way into the final price.

But what about the general manager of the retail chain? She must also be paid. Perhaps she’s paid a lot because she has highly specialized skills?

What determines the high salary of the general manager?

Continuing with that same line of thinking, to arrive at a market price for the general manager, you need to look at the labor that went into her education, which means you need to add in her share of what her teachers got paid when she was at the university; the labor that went into producing the food she ate; and the labor that went into producing and providing her with an apartment while studying -- along any other costs it took to produce someone with her skills and capabilities.

According to the Labor Theory of Value, the price of the shirt ultimately consists of what it took to pay the cotton farmers, the laborer in Bangladesh, the warehouse workers, the truck drivers, the marketing folks, the store general manager and the retail clerk, among others.

According to the theory, if you add up all of that, you’ll arrive at approximately what the market will bear as far a price that the shirt will be sold for.

You can see how it can be very complicated to calculate all of this.

But just because it takes a lot to calculate something, doesn’t mean it’s not factual.

Thankfully, the market does all of this for us “automatically”:

We just compare prices and if we find a better price for the same thing, we buy it from the place selling it for less…

… which means the more expensive shop will be forced to find a way to lower its price…

… which means it will need to figure out how to provide the same product or service using less labor – or, it will not be able to competitively offer that item to customers.

Summary: The Labor Theory of Value suggests that the price of a product or service is ultimately determined by the cost of all the labor that went into it (including the cost of labor that went into each component or aspect of it).

Alright, that’s it! Didn’t I tell you that would be simple?

OK, now that we all understand the Labor Theory of Value, let’s change the subject for a moment.

(Don’t worry, it will become clear why the information we just covered is useful to our discussion).

I mentioned I would tell you a quick story about someone that I am sure you’ve heard of.

His name is Karl Marx and he was an economist that lived about 150 years ago.

Few people had more impact on billions of people’s lives than Marx did. His economic theories formed the basis of Marxism and communism which, as it turned out, had some very serious flaws in them.

It was 1858, and Karl Marx was a wanted man in Germany.

He was living in London, working for the New York Tribune in the daytime.

Marx wrote: “At nighttime, I’m working like a madman right through the night, so that I’ll at least have the outlines clear before the crash”.

He’s referring to the crash of capitalism that he (incorrectly, obviously) predicted would be happening at any moment.

He was busy frantically filling 8 notebooks in German; free-flowing observations, thought experiments and notes-to-self.

These 8 notebooks were later purchased by the Soviet Union and were not read by anyone in Western Europe until the late 1960s.

Not read in English until 1973. the ideas (called the Fragment on Machines) are a complete departure from classic Marxism.

Of course Marxism has proven to be an inferior approach to organizing people and economies than capitalism is…

… as evidenced by the misery that Marxism brought onto the people of one nation after another in the last century, all while many of the democratic and capitalist western countries thrived.

In Fragment on Machines, Marx made several observations that were discarded by Marxists who saw no value in them; those thoughts flew in the face of everything Marx had previously written.

Indeed, many scholars that read his Fragment on Machines concluded: “These writings challenge every serious interpretation of Marx yet conceived”.

(Perhaps this explains why the Soviet Union bought up the Fragment on Machines notebooks and, basically, buried them for a century).

Fragment on Machines starts with the observation that as largescale industry develops, it changes the relationship between worker and machine.

In early industry, there was a person, a tool worked by hand, and a product.

As time passes, instead of a simple tool, the worker gradually inserts a more complex tool into the equation that allows the person to ultimately step to the side of the production process…

… instead of being its chief actor.

Marx imagines a future economy in which the main role of machines is to produce, and the main role of people becomes to supervise the machines.

An example he uses:

The ‘self-acting’ cotton-spinning machine:

Instead of the person doing the work, this “new at the time” machine did the work, with the person stepping to the side and merely supervising the machine.

He then drops this bombshell prediction:

People will keep improving the machines.

The machines will keep getting better and better.

People will learn the latest information and knowledge about the machine and its latest improvements…

… and will use that knowledge to produce even better machines…

… which will take more and more work away from humans.

And that knowledge is inherently “social”.  It will basically belong to everyone, as it will be hard (for the owners of the innovations) to stop it from spreading to other people through law or by using force.

Therefore, over time, as knowledge and information make every machine better and better…

… human labor will become a smaller and smaller portion of what it takes to produce a product…

... until that portion is zero or near-zero.

Well, unlike some of Marx’s other predictions, this prediction seems to have been incredibly accurate, if you think about it:

We are literally now entering an era where machines (software-driven hardware including robots) are already doing more and more of the work…

… and are expected to take nearly 100% of the human labor out of the process for millions of jobs that people are currently doing.

From factory workers, to driving jobs, to sales people, to doctors…

… software and robots are predicted to continue to eat up, or even fully replace, many or most of today’s most common jobs.

OK, so do you remember the Labor Theory of Value that we discussed before this little story about Marx?

As you recall, the theory suggested that the price of something is determined by how much human labor goes into it.

But if Marx continues to be right with this prediction…

… (that machines will keep improving, and the result will be that less and less human labor will be required in the production of everything)….

… As the human labor portion of everything continues on its way to zero %…

… then the Labor Theory of Value tells us that the price of everything is headed to zero.

In other words, as computers, software and robots become better and better at replacing humans…

… meaning the labor portion of everything heads towards zero….

… everything will become free or nearly free.

Ladies and gentlemen, we’re talking about a future of total abundance for humankind…

… where everything you want or need, is available to you for free or nearly free.

And if everything becomes free or near-free, then most people won’t need to work for money, because money will have little value (since, well, everything will be free).

Perhaps people may work for reasons other than making money, such as to have a sense of purpose, feel challenged and/or exercise their creativity.

(It’s also easy to imagine how a future like this might result in the reduction or elimination of war; as people or countries won’t need to fight for resources. Resources will be available to everyone for free or nearly free).

Massive new technology breakthroughs, that support this conclusion, are headed our way

If you’re paying attention to the world of technology lately, you’ve already noticed that a few massive waves of technology are on the way…

… movements that seem to completely support the future we’ve been discussing:

·      -- 3D Printing will make it so that you can simply download the blueprint for any product, and print it out at your home

·      -- Nanotechnology will make it so that the supplies (materials) used by those 3-D printers are abundant and cheap

·      -- Solar technology, among other green technologies – is getting better and cheaper…

... making it so that energy will be abundant, and humans won’t need to fight for fossil fuels...

... or burn them to create energy, which is hurting our planet.

Did you know?  The amount of solar energy hitting the earth in just 8 minutes, is enough to fuel humankind’s entire ANNUAL energy consumption?

If we could harness about one thousandth (1 / 1,000) of one single percent (1%) of the sun’s energy that’s hitting the earth, humankind would need no other energy source.

And the price of solar and wind harvesting technology are dropping exponentially, just like what we’ve seen with the cost of computer chips over the last few decades.

Which means that, soon, each of us will easily be able to harvest the power we use, and possibly sell some of the energy back to the energy companies – or even share it with our neighbors.

(The sharing of energy with our circle of trust is something that I predict we will discuss and execute on together in about 2 years from now, as the price of energy harvesting technologies comes down to what a smartphone costs today).

·      -- And with the massive emerging “Internet of Things” (IOT) (http://time.com/539/the-next-big-thing-for-tech-the-internet-of-everything/) every object -- even a cheap can of soup or carton of milk -- will be equipped with a communicating chip, hooked up to the Internet.

Everything you own, even your pieces of clothing, will be able tell you relevant information such as where they’re located, what the temperature is, if they’re expiring or damaged, and even order their own replacement, disposal or recycling.

Therefore, soup -- and literally ALL other products -- are going to become exponentially more of “knowledge and information” based products…

… meaning labor will continue to become responsible for a smaller and smaller portion of their price.

Just about everything -- including their parts and materials, and the energy they require -- will be made or managed by software-driven hardware and robots…

… as well as delivered, maintained and recycled by robots.

Yes, even the robots will be designed, made, serviced, improved and recycled by robots.

If humans are needed for any portion of the process, humans (or robots) will quickly figure out how to replace even those portions using software and robots.

Humans can instead focus on what they want to do (to uplift themselves and others) instead of doing mostly what they must do to survive.

By the way, if this future is hard to imagine, that’s reasonable and simply OK.

Someone living just a few decades (or, imagine, 100 years) ago wouldn’t be able to imagine the world as it is today.

But thanks to software, a relatively recent invention, every field of research, and every industry, is about to be (and IS being!) eaten up by software...

... and the effects of each of these exponentially improving areas are about to multiply by each other...

... to create more massive change than humankind has ever experienced in such a short period of time.

----------------------

OK, thanks for staying with me.

Now that we’ve taken a glimpse at where the world is headed...

... next, we’ll want to put our heads together to figure out how that glimpse may apply to what we’re doing together here, right now, at empowr.

This is the perfect moment to take a break, grab some coffee…. give your brain a break.

When you’re ready, come on back and let’s get started again.

Welcome back.

In summary, I believe that, together, we’ve just had a glimpse of the future.

In the future

everything we want or need,

will be in our hands very quickly

for virtually free

We’re talking about abundance for humanity.

OK, well, that may be a glimpse of the future…

… but I’m wondering…

…  does that sound too futuristic…

… as in -- NOT something we can achieve here at empowr, anytime soon, with our current resources?

Maybe so.

Let’s break it down to its parts, so we can accurately answer that question.

First, let’s start with putting our vision into one simple statement:

Everything we want or need

for Free   or for doing what people are already doing for free

and while we’re dreaming, we might as well add the following word:

Fast  (as in, “in your hands in as little as one hour”)

After all, who can resist getting what they want – fast – (as in, almost as soon as they think about it) for free?

So, the idea we want to break down into smaller parts…

… is how we might be able to provide to our citizens:

Everything, Fast & Free

Let’s start with analyzing the word “Everything”:

Everything

Just a few months ago, together we decided to focus on ramping up our marketplace.

We discussed the importance of everyone listing products, to boost the empowr economy.

In that short period of time, together we have witnessed the number of products being listed daily, weekly and monthly grow over 100 fold – or 10,000%.

Congratulations on that, by the way!

It seems like every time we put our minds to something, we always – ALWAYS – accomplish it.

Sometimes it may take a try or two… a failure or two before we get there…. But we never quit and we keep trying, until we succeed.

Congrats mighty, mighty empowr community!

Now, imagine that instead of the massive number of products we’re listing being sold, and taken out of the community forever…

… imagine if, instead, we could easily earn by “sharing” them.

Sharing? What does that mean? What would that look like?

Let’s use an example.

Imagine a tool like, say, this drill:

Did you know that the typical drill is purchased and then, over its lifetime, used for an average of less than 15 minutes? (That’s a fact)

Most of the time, the purchaser needed it for something quick, then threw it in the garage or closet, for it to be hardly ever seen or used again. Sound familiar?

Now, imagine, if instead of listing a drill to sell on empowr, you instead had the option to “Share” it with someone.

Imagine instead of selling it for, say, $30, you “Share” it for $3/day.

It would only take 10 days of sharing it, for you to capture the same earnings. Every day after the first 10 days would represent profits.

If, over the drill’s lifetime, you were able to share it 50 (or even 100 or more) days, you would end up making 5 (or 10 times or more) the amount you would have earned by selling it.

It would make more sense for you to share it -- instead of sell it -- wouldn’t it?

But what about the customer (the buyer)?

If you were the buyer, and you needed a drill for just a few hours, it would make more sense to just “use” it for $3/day -- instead of purchasing it for $30, wouldn’t it?

You, too, would be ten times better off, wouldn’t you (because paying $3 is ten times better than paying $30)?

In addition, you wouldn’t have to fill up your limited closet or garage space with even more stuff you likely won’t be needing for a while.

Now imagine:

… If together, many or most of us here at empowr, shared hundreds or even thousands of different types of products.

Imagine how much better off we would be as “Sharers” instead of Sellers…

… and “Users” instead of Buyers.

Oh, and how much better would planet earth do...

... if factories ate up less of the planet’s natural resources, because they’re making less things that are hardly ever utilized to their full capacity?

The first suggestion I am making is that, together, we add the opportunity for everyone to Share and Use, along with the current capabilities of Selling and Buying.

But wait.

Did we forget something?

How will delivery work (that is, transportation of the product from Sharer to User, and back again)?

In other words, if I click to “Use” the drill, how will the “Sharer” get it to me?

Perhaps I can go pick it up.

Or, perhaps the Sharer will be willing to deliver it to me.

Or, perhaps together we can create a new way to easily earn in empowr, which we might call the “Transporter”.

Imagine as soon as someone clicks to “Buy” or “Use” a product, empowr transporters in the area are notified of the opportunity…

… and specifically told where they need to pick up the item (Point A),…

… where they need to drop it off (Point B)…

… how long that delivery should take (in minutes) given current traffic levels on the current fastest route from Point A to Point B…

… and how much they’ll earn if they choose to capture the opportunity for themselves.

Do you like that idea?

You have been reporting that, as Sellers, one of your top concerns – or “pain points” – is the hassle and cost of shipping the items that you sell.

Imagine if at the very moment you sell (or share) something, by simply pressing a “Transport” button, an empowr transporter will be on the way.

Imagine that you’ll hardly need to wrap or package the item.

Imagine that the transporter shows up really fast – in just minutes…

… so you don’t even need to think about or deal with scheduling, or making sure you’re home at some exact future moment.

Just press the “Transport” button wherever you are, and the transporter will quickly show up, take the item from you, and deliver it.

Now, imagine that the price of transport, for you, is virtually free.

In other words, imagine if empowr pays for transport so that you (or the “buyer” or “user”) don’t need to.

In fact, let’s say that a transport would cost only $1, to ensure that there does exist a tiny cost (in order to reduce waste -- so that people might be less likely to abuse a free service like this).

Sounds fair, no?

But also imagine that you receive a whole bunch of free transports every month with your Silver, Gold or Platinum daily earning options that many of you are already enjoying.

But I digress.  Let’s get back to our vision of the future:  Everything, Fast & Free

Instead of millions of products being listed for sale, and then quickly leaving empowr as soon as they’re purchased – which is what’s currently happening…

… imagine if most of those things don’t leave the empowr ecosystem – because now they’ll be “shared and used” instead of “sold and bought”.

That would mean that the millions of products that are currently being listed would quickly accumulate to become tens of millions…

… and then hundreds of millions of available products in the marketplace…

… because after a product leaves the marketplace (to be used by someone) it would now come right back to the marketplace, when the “user” is done with it.

Therefore, doesn’t it make sense that, with so many products being listed (that now wouldn’t permanently leave empowr)…

… that soon virtually everything you can imagine wanting or needing, will be available for “use”?

And what about those things that are not available in the short-term?

Imagine if empowr reveals a sorted daily list of the things that people have been searching for – things they want to “use” – but that were not currently available.

The people looking to earn by “Sharing” would be able to earn more, by quickly offering those products – perhaps at premium prices given the lack of competition.

It’s easy to see how, within just a few months, just about everything you want or need, might be available to you to use.

Wait. What?

It seems like the Everything part of our “Everything, Fast & Free” vision might just be very doable – with our current level of resources!

------------------

OK, maybe so…. but how about the Fast part of “Everything, Fast & Free”?

Fast

Well, what if the new “empowr transporters” earn bonuses, when they do their work fast?

And what if they earn even more transport opportunities when they are “fast” or “super-fast”?

In other words, what if, together, we decide to reward transporters that are rated the best by their customers, and can get the items from Point A to Point B most quickly?

Do you think we can satisfy the Fast part of our “Everything, Fast & Free” vision?

My opinion, if you care to know, is a big, fat YES.

----------------

OK, but let’s move on to (what might seem like it would be) the hardest part.

I mean, what about the Free part of “Everything, Fast & Free”?

Free

On the surface, this challenge sounds really, really hard.

Well, we just talked about making transportation free (or virtually free, by pricing transports at only $1).

But what about the cost of “Using” any product?

Well, if the cost of using the drill (from our earlier example) is, say, $3 per day…

… but everyone can earn that $3 just for doing the (social networking) things they’re all already doing for free on Facebook, Instagram and elsewhere...

... doesn’t that therefore make using the item virtually free?

Look, after deep analysis, we’ve come to believe that we…

… you, I and others already here in the empowr community…

… now have everything we need to fast-forward into the future…

… and (assuming we had all the software we needed to enable all of this)….

… could soon offer “Everything, Fast & Free” for our community members to enjoy.

By the way….

When I say we “could soon offer”, I DON’T mean “in just a few years”.

By soon, I mean RIGHT NOW.

Pssst.  May I share a secret with you?

Well, then, come a little closer so I can whisper something in your ear.

Given that we live in a highly competitive world, dominated by powerful tech giants, empowr has been very quietly and secretly working on this future for quite a while…

… in the hopes that -- after you’re shown the evidence, from the economic theory to all the product, policy and other details --…

… that you too will believe in this future, will see the logic in it, and will give us “two thumbs up” to charge forward into what it takes to enable that future.

Now, to be clear, if you don’t believe in this vision, we can and we will stop working on it immediately.

You have got my word on that.

But we wanted to make most of the progress before discussing it, so that -- if you decided that Everything, Fast & Free is the correct future we’re headed for, and you believe we should commit ourselves to that vision immediately…

… we wouldn’t be sharing our vision and strategy with competitors too long before we’re just about to launch.

Ladies and gentlemen…

…. my dear, mighty brother and sisters in arms…

… my fellow revolutionaries that, for months or for years, have sacrificed much to enable empowr to exist and progress…

… I am beyond delighted to have the opportunity to now tell you that:

We are in the final testing phase for EVERYTHING it takes to launch and manage the future described above.

Once you understand all of what will be entailed…

… if and only if you give us the thumbs up…

… we can begin rolling this vision out, one important platform at a time…

… starting in the coming days.

Change can be difficult

Convincing all empowr employees and engineers to add to their currently workload, to work on this vision, wasn’t easy.

Why?

Because they’re all already overworked (and underpaid).

But after carefully considering all the facts, discussing the obstacles, and crunching the numbers…

… they agreed that this -- Everything, Fast & Free -- can and must be accomplished.

A few have actually said goodbye to most friends and family members, before getting busy working nights and weekends to make this a reality.

But empowr employees are not the only ones that will need to sacrifice and face change.

If you agree that this is a future that, together we should work towards, YOU will also be challenged.

Remember, all new complicated software has issues, bugs and missing features.

Like all big software rollouts in our past, there will be frustrations.

But, like we’ve always done, we will report those issues.

We will work overtime to fix the bugs, and to design and build what’s missing.

We won’t stop until everyone’s satisfied.

But first…

First, we need to hear from you.

If most of you are not wholeheartedly bought in, we need to pull the plug and stop this push.

After all, without you – the empowr community of citizens -- empowr has (and is) nothing.

Before you make your decision, here are some of the details you’ll want to consider:

A.   Removing bidding from Daily Goals

Many of you have reported that it’s hard to hit your Daily Goals, because of the amount of bids required.

As part of this push, we are suggesting the removal of bidding from the Daily Goals requirements.

Of course if you do bid or buy – and now, “Use” – something, that will continue to count towards closing the loop with people in your circle of trust.

But by not being forced to bid and buy, we’ll have a lot less Unpaid Items…

… which means less cost for buyers…

... and we’ll have less frustration for sellers, who are (rightfully) complaining about having so many unpaid items.

And not requiring all that bidding should also mean that, when you actually want to buy something, it’s more likely to be available in the marketplace…

… because other buyers (people that may not have even wanted the item in the first place, but were only bidding / buying to hit their Daily Goal) won’t have inadvertently blocked you from buying it.

B.  Cash outs (AMCOs) for Transporters

Another huge pain point you’ve communicated, is the amount of time and out-of-pocket cash that the shipping of items requires from you.

To attack this pain-point, we’re suggesting launching what’s internally become known as “ETL” – which stands for “empowr transport layer” – but you’ll probably get to know it as the new earning role called the empowr “transporter”.

Playing the biggest part in the “Everything, Fast & Free” vision will be the empowr transporters, and we want to ensure everyone has both the opportunity and desire to try their hand at transporting.

Therefore, we feel that Transporters should be among the largest earners of AMCO cash outs…

… and that they should be paid as quickly as possible (at end of the month, as opposed to the following month) so that they have the money for gasoline that they’ll need.

By the way, in the interest of not making this blog post even longer than it already is, more details on the transporter role…

…  as well as for every other new feature mentioned in this blog post …

… will be soon coming your way, if most community members vote to move forward with “Everything, Fast & Free”.

C.  Cash outs (AMCOs) for Service providers

As part of this effort, we believe that everyone should be able to earn AMCO cash outs from the Services they provide.

Why?

Service providers are basically product providers that are also transporters.

Think about it:

If I offer to wash your car, I will need to first transport my body and washing tools to where your car is…

… and then, of course, my product is, basically, your clean car.

So, it’s time for Service providers to also earn AMCO cash outs.

D.  Sharing, Transporting and Servicing should all count towards your listing goal

Currently, each time you successfully sell a product, it counts towards your listing portion of your Daily Goal.

Now, we’re suggesting that each time you successfully Transport something…

… or provide a Service to someone…

…or simply Share something with someone (meaning they pay you to “use” a product of yours)…

… that the “event” should count as a Listing towards your Daily Goals…

… making it much easier to hit your listing goal.

Think about it:

By providing value to the community…

… as measured by your selling or sharing a product, service or transportation to the community…

… you equally gain access to the products, services and transportations that the community is providing.

That just makes good sense, no?

E.  Let’s change the name of “List” in the Daily Goals area to “Provide”.

To hit your Daily Goal, you’ll now want to only Share, Post and Provide.  (IE: No more Bidding required)

To enable this, first let’s making listing products and services 100 times easier!

Here’s how:

Simply search for a product or service like what you want to offer…

…  then click a new “List it” button – to instantly – magically -- list the same product or service into the marketplace…

… using the same photos, title and descriptions used by the original listing.

And since you’re utilizing a previously moderated listing that’s been approved, your listing will be automatically approved.

Hot stuff!

In fact, as soon as you give us the thumbs up on this new “Everything, Fast & Free” vision, we’ll give you a new “Hot stuff” page where you can see all the most popular services and products being listed in empowr…

… and directly on that page you can simply click the “List it” button to have the same item listed with zero effort.

Now, you should be able to list 10 or 20 or more new products or services in less than 5 mins.

So, now that listing things is much less of a challenge, let’s set the focus of our Daily Goals to Providing.

In other words, we suggest that simply listing a product or service shouldn’t count towards the Daily Goal.

Instead, let’s focus on how many times we successfully provided value to another empowr citizen – by selling, sharing, servicing or transporting.

Let’s set the Daily Goal target (for Provides) to 2 per day….

… except for new citizens that are still learning and trying to get accustomed to everything.

IE:  Perhaps let’s set the goal to 1 for Orange Power User citizens – to give them more time to list their items, close loops and then sell, share, service or transport things successfully.

F.  Success coaching is as valuable as selling, sharing, providing a service or transportation

We’re suggesting that successful success coaching should count as Providing (previously known as “listings”):

That is, when a success coach hits ALL four (4) of their goals:

1.  Quality of their communications with their students

2.  Speed of their responses

3.  Success level of their students

4.  Happiness level of their students

... we think their work deserves to be viewed as an “economy builder” activity – the same as sellers, sharers, service providers and transporters…

… and therefore, their work should count as Provides.  Details to come.

In addition, we believe that the successful success coaches (again, measured by whether they are hitting all of their Quality, Speed, Success and Happiness goals) should earn free transport credits too.

Good time to become a success coach, eh?  Go here to learn how

... and if you're ready to start your training, go here

--------------

OK, it’s time to take another break.

Go give your mind a little rest.

And maybe give your body some more caffeine? (You’ll want to be fully alert for this next part).

Just come on back when you’re ready…

… I promise that we’ll be waiting for you right here, patiently. ;)

We're back. Please grab a seat, if you’re not already sitting down.

Are you ready for this?

G.    Hundreds of new and different earning opportunities

As part of this new “Everything, Fast & Free” vision, we believe there should be hundreds or even thousands of new ways for everyone to earn…

…  so the word “Everything” would also apply to the number of (different) ways to earn on empowr.

Do you have ideas, as far as new earning roles that should be made available to citizens?

If so, empowr has been preparing to provide you up to $1,000,000…

… to help your idea take off and succeed.

Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you

That’s $1 million, in AID, to help you get your idea launched and successful.

AID = Application Innovation Dollars

Here’s how it works:

Let’s say that you have an idea…

… and want to launch the ability for empowr citizens to earn by, say, offering home-cooked meals to each other…

… or house-cleaning services…

… or gardening services…

… or baby-sitting …

… or playing games of skill …

… or renting out a spare room in their house…

… or a farmer’s market…

… parking cars…

… gig buddy…

… life coaching…

… soccer or guitar lessons…

… accounting or setting budget services…

… investment controller…

… organizing parties…

… or dog-owner social network…

… or performing handyman or other tasks around the house…

… or car repair…

… or driving each other around (like Uber or Lyft)…

… or performing or providing some other product or service.

We’ll help your idea take off, by helping your app or website gets lots of eyeballs (users… empowr citizens) – for free.

In addition, if you qualify, we’ll start you off with $25,000 (in empowr earnings) that you can utilize to pay empowr citizens for working within the role(s) you offer.

As your idea begins to take off, we’ll then give you $50,000 more in AID.

What we’ll want to see, as a condition to providing you with more and more funds, is that you’re getting better and better at empowering empowr citizens…

… and enabling opportunities for them to earn.

We’ll also want to see that your app or website’s earnings are growing…

… which means that you’re beginning to show that people are liking what you’re offering…

… so much so, that they’re willing to spend their earnings in your application or website…

... which means that your app or website is beginning to look like it will eventually sustain itself and become self-sufficient.

In other words, we’ll look for evidence that you’re working towards building a long-term viable and successful app or website…

… one that will be around for the long-term, so you can continue to work to improve how it serves the empowr community.

After ensuring you’re providing opportunities to empowr citizens and growing your own revenue too, after you consume those initial funds, we’ll give you $100,000 more…

… then $200,000 more; and so on and so forth, until you’re off and running – up to $1,000,000 in empowr AID…

… so that you don’t need to think about getting investor capital, and can make your dreams a reality much more easily.

We are challenging everyone to think about how they can help citizens improve their lives by offering them new, innovative earning roles.

Your app can be a mobile app, a desktop app, or even a website. Do it your way.

And when you’re a mega success, you’re app and company will belong to you.

You don’t need to give empowr any shares or a piece of your company.

Your success is yours and you deserve it.

When empowr’s citizens like you succeed, empowr is accomplishing its mission.

Are you an application developer?

Well, then, what are you waiting for?

Virtually everything is provided for you!  Go here to get started or learn more

Are you NOT an application developer?

You can simply look online for tons and tons of apps already built, that can be yours for cheap.

For example, if there’s an app out there that you like, simply Google their name, and add the word “clone”…

… and you just might find a bunch of competitors that have copied the app and will sell it to you for almost nothing.

For example,  Google “Uber clone” or “AirBnB clone”, and you’ll notice a bunch of copycat already-built products that are available for you to purchase for almost nothing.

Simply plug them into empowr’s simple APIs (you’ll need a software developer for just a few hours to do that)…

…. and your app can grow and benefit from everything empowr offers it, including:

·      -- the empowr community features and social network feed stories

·      -- viral growth of empowr citizens (user traffic)

·      -- the ability to (one-click) collect revenues from empowr citizens (who may be willing to pay for your app upfront and/or via in-app purchases)

·      -- cash outs for you

·      -- scalable global customer service

·      -- customer arbitration, dispute and refund management

·      -- virtual currency and micro-billing

·      -- revenue collection via credit card and PayPal

·      -- reputation management

·      -- empowr transport layer (fast and near-free shipping)

… and much, much more.

H.  Larger potential ownership in empowr

If together we approve this new vision and approach…

… to thank you for your upcoming sacrifices and to help you become a larger owner of empowr…

… we suggest that you earn triple the number of “stock option points” in the next 90 days – which is the most exciting and rewarding part of any big software launch.

As a reminder, your stock option points are calculated by taking the number of Daily Goals you’ve hit (ever) and multiplying it by the number of sales you’ve had.

To see your (or someone else’s) numbers, simply scroll up to the top of your or their profile, and you’ll see a circle at the top right.  Learn more about it here

So, if you hit your Daily Goals 30 times in the next 90 days…

… and successfully provide 20 sales, transports or services in that timeframe:

You would normally take that 20 and multiply it by the 30…

… to arrive at 600 points.

But now -- instead of earning 600 points for those activities during the next 90 days, you’ll earn three (3) times that number – or 1,800 points.

The next 90 days represents the largest opportunity you’ve ever had to potentially own a bigger piece of empowr.

Even more for high achievers

In the next 90 days (April, May and June) – if you hit 80% or more of the possible Daily Goals in that period (there’s exactly 90 days remaining in April, May and June) – including today, April 2nd…

… empowr will double that final (already tripled) number.

That means that you could earn 6 times more potential empowr ownership by hitting your Daily Goals at least 80% of the time, in the next 90 days.

Keep in mind that, with these stock option points, as detailed earlier, you’re taking a chance on the empowr community of citizens, success coaches and employees -- betting that, together, we will succeed.

I hope you’re as excited about the changes described above…

… and the impact those things can have on the empowr community (and the value of the empowr platform – which will translates into the value of empowr ownership).

I mean, can you imagine the onslaught of new citizens, into empowr, in the coming months as they begin to hear that (along with earning in so many new ways)…

… that they can gain access to everything, fast & free just by being an empowr citizen…

... which beats paying Amazon (or other ecommerce companies) full price to buy things…

… then waiting 2 days for shipping (but only if they’ve paid $100 / year for Amazon Prime’s free shipping).

Now, as soon as they think of something, they can press a button and it will magically appear in their hand, in as little as one hour.

Everything, Fast & free is a game-changer on a global scale

Who, on this planet, wouldn’t want to have more things, fast and for free?

And therefore, as empowr continues to push forward and succeed…

… we would love to see more and more potential ownership fall into the hands of our hard-working community members (citizens and success coaches)…

… who deserve great personal success and wealth just as much as empowr employees do.

History tell us that, ultimately, the biggest winners in tech companies have always been the people that get their hands on stock options (company ownership) before everyone else pours in.

In summary, to maximize your ownership potential, for your sake, as well as the sake of the mission, please, please, please – do everything you can to hit your new, simplified, Daily Goals as many times as possible in the next 90 days.

OK, I realize I've given you a lot to think about, so we better wrap up and let you think.

We have tried to find the most optimal juncture between:

1.   where we think where the world and technology are headed…

… which is a world where practically everything becomes accessible fast and virtually free…

… based on the Labor Theory of Value...

... and the evidence we’re already witnessing, which is that software and hardware are gobbling up parts of (or entire) human jobs...

... and that gobbling up process is growing exponentially.

... AND…

2.   Many of the pain points you’re currently experiencing in empowr, including:

The hassle of packaging and shipping

empowr transporters to the rescue!

Near-eliminating the cost of shipping

empowr transporters to the rescue!

Earn much more revenue for your products

With Sharing, you can earn recurring (repeating) revenue from the things you list, as opposed to selling each item once and it’s gone forever.

Don’t have products to sell?

With Services and Transporting, now you no longer need to just sell products to hit goals and earn AMCO cash outs.

Eliminate the hassle of listing products and services

See a service or product that someone else is offering – that you think you can offer too?

With only one single click, now you’re offering it too.

Much larger variety of products available to you (as a buyer)

Imagine having ten, fifty or even one hundred times the variety of products for you to access, as a buyer, in the empowr marketplace.

When everyone shares, that’s what happens.

Much lower cost of products you want

At the same time, imagine the cost of accessing the products you want dropping by as much as 90 or 95%?

That’s what Sharing enables!

Literally hundreds of new ways for you to earn

Now everyone can dream up new ways for you to earn -- and empowr will support your success with $1M in AID.

Too hard to hit daily goals

Dropping the requirement to bid, hitting Daily Goals gets much easier

Timing

Only if you give us the go-ahead…

… we will be ready to start rolling out all the above…

… one after another…

… beginning in the coming days.

We’ll be sure to give you all the details about all the new features…

… as well as provide highly actionable tips for how to maximize your personal success in the new platform.

But we can’t push forward-- and we won’t push forward -- without your full support.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Yours truly,

- JC, Brian Woosley and all the other empowr employees committed to -- and thankful for -- the opportunity to work with you to enable opportunity, hope & influence for millions of people

Hi Pranati, that's excellent to hear! Yes, there is alot of really interesting theories and ideas that were discussed in the blog post. Sometimes reading it through multiple times helps to fully digest all of the ideas. It's encouraging to hear that you're taking the post seriously, and doing your best to disect it fully. Thanks, Pranati!

I think there are some good ideas, but would really like to see the dispute process cleaned up. Currently disputes go into a black hole. I have had several open for over 6 weeks with no solution in sight. Other modifications like editing fixed item listings (when the quantity changes). I also wonder if eliminating all bidding goals is really the way to go. Citizens may not buy anything then. Instead of eliminating them maybe reducing them to a more manageable level so people use their bids for things they really want. Encouraging sellers to complete transactions is also great. I would love to buy a new laptop, but right now I can't find a seller that has what I want that I believe will complete the transaction....the one I did try to buy, ended up in a dispute and I still haven't been re-imbursed. I love the idea of empowr but there is much work to do in my humble opinion without introducing additional functionality. What happens if a "transporter" has an accident or the goods don't get delivered?

Reply·20 days ago

Debra, I actually meant to talk about the following, but the blog post was getting too long:
The dispute process, as part of this push, has also been completely redone.
You will be seeing that live, in the coming days.

Reply·20 days ago

JC,
That's excellent news, thanks!

Reply·20 days ago

Absolutely -- and your example of "what happens if the transporter has an accident" is a good one - one of dozens of scenarios that needed to be fully dissected and spoken for. Thanks again Debra.

Cam asa "stau sau merg" lucrurile in intreaga lume !
Multumesc.

So "stay or go" things in the world!
Rather than spend money to employee wages in their country better build another factory in another country and the business goes smoothly, in one sense ... but :)
Empowr on notice that lately everyone is busy with sales / cumparaturilie (rarely find one blog worth heeded) .... I do not understand what it is that they are not taken into consideration at the AMCO.
I hope things will go a rut ... good!
It is a desire, not only mine.
Thank you.

I am very sorry Valentin, but the translation software (Google) didn't help in this instance. Hard to understand, unfortunately.

Reply·20 days ago

Hi Valentin, thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. We understand all change, especially change of this type, will take some time to adjust too. It will likely come with some "growing pains" as well! That's why we're reaching out and asking what YOU think. We appreciate your insight into the situation and your continued support.

There's a lot of things that should be considered though it all sounds great on the surface. Transport for $1. But what if the person lives 40 miles away across traffic? I'm looking forward to learning more about how the transporters earnings and services are calculated in the next announcement. Another issue that hasn't been addressed is shipping charges. We should be able to offer 3 different shipping charges with this option. Transport for local deliver, a price for say US shipping (since I'm in the US) or a different price for international shipping. The marketplace has limited us to trying picking one option when we create a listing.

My concerns with the transporter position. How can someone's safety at pick up or delivery be guaranteed? how can someone who goes to do the pickup and delivery know that they will get credit for their time?

My Concerns with the share aspect of products rather than selling. Who pays for the transport to Return the item? How do you make sure both parties are available for the transport? what happens if someone that shares or borrows an item doesn't return it? Just going to keep charging them so much a day forever? or until the purchase price is reached? or what?

I think it's great that services will now be allowed to help people earn AMCO because I think the services people provide have a lot more benefit than buying stuff!

As difficult as it is on the coaches to meet all those goals I think it's good that they will get credit for their service as a coach but is this going to be additional earning on top of their CAMCO and other coaching earnings? or with this replace and hopefully increase their earnings over what they currently receive? Cause Sadly I've talked to people, I know how challenging it is to be a coach and how much time goes into it especially for the newest coaches. Seems like just a select few can actually meet those goals.

very happy about the bids going away, though I wonder how much it will affect the sales overall. Hopefully it will allow everyone to buy things at a more realistic price and will result in more legit sales!

I could go on but I'll stop here. I'm not sure about the whole everything fast and free theory you're putting out there. But there are definitely aspects of this msg that I support like giving credit for services and removing the requirement for bidding.

Reply·20 days ago

Hi Cyndi, you make good points all-around.
A few points are things that will be discussed when each feature launches (given the length of this post).
Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts and concerns!

Reply·20 days ago

I would love to see some of the overall bug fixes and improvements implemented first. The issue with disputes and people that sell and never deliver. Other issues with the marketplace like automatically relisting fixed priced items that are sold ore deleted. Or the numerous issues with the Leaderboards where people show up in the wrong country and I haven't shown on the leaderboard at all in more than 7 months. These are the types of things that provide encouragement and motivation and are many for many!

Reply·20 days ago

Yes, the dispute system is one of many required parts to make this happen, most of which I was not able to discuss given the length of this post. The new dispute system is ready to roll in the coming days!

New idea's are good, but can it be turned into reality, for instance i got 3 dogs that need to be cut and washed, somebody on Empower claims to have that service worldwide, i live in the Netherlands and he in australia. He cannot fly over so he needs in my neighbourhood somebody who actually do the work, of course somebody from Empowr. If the dogs are cut and washed, the service is supplied and i pay the person from australia and he pays the person in my neighbourhood.

Looks good, but it has still a lot to fill in.

If you buy a product, it needs to be send and delivered and you got a real product in your house, if you sell a product and it is sponsored shared or whatever it's called, it is not in your hand. So if you sell a bucket of air, you can fill a bucket with air, but it is still not the air you sold me. Some thing to think about.

Patric

Reply·20 days ago

Hi Patric, I must admit that I'm having difficulty understanding your points. Yes, dogs must be washed in person, products need to be delivered, and buckets of air are, well, not sure what the point is with that.
I know you're very intelligent and it's probably just me not understanding you. Any chance you could rephrase that? Many thanks in advance.

Reply·20 days ago

Patric, we completely understand the hesitation. All empowr citizens are, hopefully, setting their location when they sign up originally; with features like empowr Transport and services, you will be able to put a range of where you're willing to travel (30 minutes from me, 2 hours, etc) and you will not be presented to anyone outside of your range. Just make sure your location is accurate! :)

Unfortunately I'm not entirely sure what you mean with your bucket of air example. Hopefully no one bids on that as it is not a good you can actually be given (unless you really want that bucket). If you're willing to expand a bit I'd love to go into this a bit more with you! We appreciate your honest concerns and your continued support of empowr.

Reply·20 days ago

Thank you Johnny and Delilah,
It's a very old Dutch expression and positive meanted, so we will fill it with some extra love.
What i really meant is things need also time to settle, sometimes you go to quick, that peoples mind are dazzling.
Building a Network worldwide With technology that people has to learn to work with and then the language barrier.
We get a lot of questions from different parts of the world from: How to sell a product, How do i do item received, ect... We try to show them ;"the learn how video links and blogs" and also i try to translate some with google, some times it helps sometimes it won't. I am not a SC, i cannot be at the highest level of sky star and be a good SC.
but i will assist.
We pushed up the sales and item received and try to qualify every day, But it would be wonderful to have a button that say. Holliday Freeze or for Sabina who has a Second Frozen shoulder, Number two on the leaderboard.
If we can freeze our accounts for a month and come back where we left would be ideal
A kind of "Need a Break Button" in case of sickness press here...

I also like new idea, and hope that it will help everyone, also hope that people will not lost in all new features, maybe little harder for our country with "transporter" idea because I do not see many active members from Croatia so not sure how this will work for our country, but all other ideas I like and support!

Reply·20 days ago

Nina, you are right that we'll need to work hard to bring on more active participants from Croatia (and everywhere) quickly.

Reply·20 days ago

Nina, you bring up a very valid point! We're hoping will all these new features more and more people will be drawn to the empowr platform which will make this point you so rightly mentioned a non issue. However, this would be something that would need to be considered in the short term, you're absolutely correct. We appreciate your input and continued dedication!

Reply·20 days ago

I like new ideas and I am prety sure I'll vote for new system, but I want to be to reduce the number of bids in daily goal.
I need to take more coffee breaks.

Careful with drinking too much caffeine!

Reply·20 days ago

Wow, speechless, we're talking about ideas and things that can be a big "Game Changer". Count me in, totally support and in favor of the ideas. We'll definitely have to consider the concerns, though, like:
What if the person who got the shared product doesn't return it?
Are we completely going to eliminate the buying and switch it with sharing or both of them go hand in hand?

Lets see what others have to say about it :D

Reply·20 days ago

Hi Umair, agreed - if/when we pull it off, it's a game changer as many consumers will ask themselves why they should go to Amazon or even their local store when they get their hands on the item fast and for virtually free?
If the person doesn't return it, they'll have to pay for it -- and their funds will already be held to ensure that can happen. So, as the item moves from the Sharer to the Transporter to the User, and then back to a Transporter and to the original Sharer, a smooth handoff of funds happens instantly in the background.
This is possible because of how empowr, uniquely, has integrated the social platform, the marketplace, bank and the transport system -- so every platform is fully aware of the others which is why empowr is uniquely situated to enables this type of future right now.
I don't think there's a need to eliminate buying as some products lend themselves better to buying as opposed to using. Thanks for your thoughts!

Reply·20 days ago

Sounds great :)

Reply·20 days ago

is there going to be insurance options offer to the person who is getting the shared product?

Surely these new ideas and features will bring many improvements, and I vote for this.
I read carefully this blog, I can not deny that I have some reluctance how it will work, this "Fast & Free"? But certainly after this method will be implemented and we will see how it works, everyone will have new opportunities, and I hope that everyone will be happier.
It is salutary and giving up bidding goal.
Thanks, to the whole team for their hard work for improvements.

Wow!! Excellent. This is the game changer. Looks like I have to return to coaching. (with my doctor's permission) Umair you brought up a very good point but I am sure that penalties can be applied to deter such behavior.Bring it on JC.

OK Brian, I am impressed, you have addressed majority of our complains. But still could we clean up the disputes? and there are many people that do not have a physical product yet then list lot's of products, than when product sells they say sorry I am out of that product or I don't have any more product. I than go to their profile and here are again products ( some numbered at 25 products) that they are selling, the same one that I bought yet was told that they are out of all products. This is so frustrating to me. Another point is that many people so not go back and rate the sellers and buyers and if that isn't happening than I do not have the sell of that item so I don't get any points . Otherwise all your ideas are spot on, I do hope that we implement it quickly so that we can make some money together. Thank you for listening.

Reply·20 days ago

Many thanks Ilona - and the dispute process has been redesigned and is ready to launch soon.
Another item that will help the issue you're pointing out, is the seller ratings, along with buyer and transporter ratings. We're about to get very serious about ratings, and the system will use them to flush out people that are causing trouble like what you explain above.

Reply·20 days ago

Hi Ilona, we are trying to help ease or eliminate the pain points like disputes with these new features. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and helping us work on knowing what needs to be fixed!

Reply·20 days ago

Hi JC, What is going to happen with the old unresolved disputes? Will they need to be resubmitted or is someone there going to get to them?

Very exciting idea! Yes, there are lots of times I need something and cost makes no sense to purchase, a pressure washer to wash my house for example. Hiring a service can be expensive 100.00. If I could use one on "share" that would be great! There are tons of opportunity I could see here for everyone! So many ideas could come from this!
I am really excited about the transporter idea. Going on the pressure washer again, Wow if I could use on a share and have it delivered too! Fantastic!
A great way to rid the marketplace of shipping problems and enabling opportunity at the same time!
All in all there are so many opportunities that can stem from this post in general, I love it all the way round!
Count me on a YES vote! A special thank you to the Team for all their hard work and dedication.

Thanks for your YES Deborah.

Hello to be pleasant to me Empower the fact that you is constant in the movement at you constantly some new maintaining which facilitate our partnership with you very laudable, I am more than such projects in principle and I don't know. And about transportation you want to apply it worldwide or separately taken country. And how it to carry out some centers to create or these are isolated cases of transportation only of the goods? Thanks.

Reply·20 days ago

Hi Сергей, I am having a little trouble fully understanding your comment here, I apologize for that! But for the transportation part, we will be able to go into more details for the new features answering most of the main questions!

Reply·20 days ago

I agree with your idea and all BUT, The problem I see as iam sure has been mentioned above is that once the product has been delivered by a TRANSPORTER to another USER , The USER may not return it ,WHAT IS THE GUARANTEE THAT THE PRODUCT WE SEND TO THE USER WILL COME BACK TO US, He may chose to keep it, THEN WHAT???

Reply·20 days ago

Hi Mohammad, valid question! We will be able to go into more detail in a upcoming post to explain in more details. But if someone doesn't return a product, they would have to pay for it!

Reply·20 days ago

How Would you enforce them to pay??

Reply·20 days ago

Hi Mohammad, the Sharer will need to place a price on its replacement, which all parties (transporters and users) will have locked in their account, as collateral. If they don't return it, it's just like they purchased it. You can also rate them poorly, blocking them from other buying and using opportunities.

Reply·20 days ago

I look forward to this being rolled out. I can already see one likely role for myself in hooking up the empowr API to cloned apps. The one requirement would be that the API is well documented, includes all the standard interface parameters, and the empowr side correctly implements it. Otherwise, without that, I would not be able to generate a working interface.

Reply·20 days ago

Judith, you speak the truth.
And thanks for your vote.

Reply·20 days ago

That's fantastic Judith, its so exciting to hear you're looking forward to the empowr API! We will be able to go into more details on this feature to help ease any concerns you may have.

Reply·20 days ago

You guys are geniuses, and have really thought ahead. I love that!
Very exciting on the first fast read. I will go back and read again later.

1) I'm assuming we can continue to sell products, if that is something we we like?

2) I'd like to see something like Microworkers.com, where for example, I could say I would pay someone in a given city or country to watch a YouTube video and provide a brief verification for a micro-payment, for example 25 cents or 50 cents. I can use this to boost my videos and the Search Engine Optiimzation on my various sites and my customer sites. Another example is to search for "dallas plumber" on Google then click on a certain URL or plumbing company (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7QJwvjO0BQ). Having 100s of people do this can really help with SEO. Currently, we don't have a way to request a service, only to list a service. Similarly, I would like to hire more people to do Virtual Assistant type tasks, both of an online/marketing nature, and/or of a local nature (like grocery shopping, or pick up something).

3) I love the idea of hiring a maid or something like that on Empowr. As above, if there are no maids in my area, it would be nice to have a way to express that I'm seeking a maid, to encourage someone to list that service or to match up.

4) So many things still need to be fixed in what we have now. I fear that adding new stuff will postpone basic fixes.
I could probably think of more, but here are some for example:
a) Need a way to show me a list of things I need to ship (without sorting through everything)
b) Need a way to show me blogs I need to leave feedback on (right now, they are same color as the ones that I have given feedback on).
c) We really need a system like StackExchange (Stackoverflow) where people can put in questions, and other people can give answers. Answers could be voted up and down, and the person who asked the question can pick the best answer as well. This would keep people from asking the same questions over and over to their Success Coaches. Those systems have "badges" where people earn the right to edit and improve questions for example, or delete duplicate or spam questions People who do that for Empowr could be awarded. Then Success Coaches could focus on issues that involve a private or specific individual issue.

Thanks,
Neal

Reply·20 days ago

Hello Neal,
You, my friend, are the genius.
1. yes, you can continue to sell products.
2. Those are all great ideas! Perhaps you can build an app that does that, or work a developer to launch an app like that?
3. I love the idea of a "wish list" - so people can see what services are being asked for.
4. a. Yes, a good idea - and it's currently being designed.
4. b. Good idea
4. c. Also a good idea.
You mention StackOverflow. If you are a coder, you could provide all the things mentioned in $4 to empowr citizens, via an app that you launch!
Thanks for weighing in!

Each innovation brings new opportunities and it is always intriguing. Forward to new heights, Empowr!

Reply·20 days ago

Thanks for your vote of confidence, Aemie.

Reply·20 days ago

..this was one to read carefully and take some time with to really grasp what's presented, no disrespect to quick commenters - so maybe it's a good idea to go over it again, a bit closer next time.

I was impressed to read about the lack of value of the dollar, and essentially all fiat currencies... one of the many reasons I see empowr as a new and burgeoning world-level economy - because without the necessary agreement (labor is a form of agreement), dollars are worthless - it is only the massive agreement that comes from marketing ploy that gives any value to any currency in circulation. Imagine for a moment that dollars do not exist, would you not then do all the things necessary for survival simply for the sake of survival? Such as building shelter, gathering necessities such as food and water, protecting you and yours from danger? Dollars are intricately connected to Maritime Law and the systems of control that govern the lives of ALL peoples of the Earth who have allowed themselves to be duped into supporting those who enslave them with imaginary debt.

E. is the only one I see an issue with, in particular the 2 products, etc. for daily goals. From experience, it's very difficult as it stands at this moment to get completed transactions - either by buyers not entering their shipping details, marking items as received, or sellers not shipping.. My point here is the inaction of empowr users hurts active users - whether the inaction is due to complacency, lack of knowledge or ability, or some other reason of seemingly countless reasons, deliberate or otherwise. A lot of words to simply say, I have ample reason not to trust many users - especially when it comes to my success with empowr, unfortunately.

Reply·20 days ago

I forgot to mention that I appreciate the dynamic attitude of empowr, and its ability to shift on the fly.. It can be difficult to keep up with, as things are constantly changing, but personally I love it.

Reply·20 days ago

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your thoughts about fiat currencies.
And we are working on a broad set of new trust-building features, including diversified and simplified ratings, so that you'll be able to rate the buyers, users (of shared products) , transporters, etc. The bottom line is that by setting your Buyer's Requirements, you'll be able to block people from using or buying your goods if they are rated poorly by other sellers -- meaning that you'll soon get relief from those hurtful situations you're mentioning.
Trust is everything; thanks for these thoughts!

Reply·20 days ago

Thanks for those additional thoughts, Chris. One of the things that happens when we commit to not going to investors, is that we must work harder to listen to our customers and react fast. That's one of my favorite parts of not being flushed with cash. I've seen it the other way too. As hard as you try, companies and people slow down when they're comfortable. Thanks for the affirmation.

Очень интересная тема.
Мой голос Вам в поддержку этой идеи.
Всё это будет не быстро и не так просто, особенно для новых жителей Empowr.
Предлагаю на протяжении какого-то времени провести в режиме тест - драйв.
Всем желаю успехов, благополучия и процветания.

Thank you, Johnny!
Very interesting topic.
My voice to you in support of this idea.
All this will not be fast and not so simple, especially for new residents of Empowr.
I propose to spend some time in the test drive mode.
I wish everyone success, prosperity and prosperity.
Sincerely, Grandfather Dimitri!

That is a very good and solid proposal, Grandfather Dimitrius!
I agree - change is difficult and will take time, so the sooner we get on with it, the better, I believe.
Thanks for your thoughts and vote!

Это очень хорошее и солидное предложение, дед Димитрий!
Я согласен - изменения сложны и потребуют времени, поэтому, чем скорее мы продолжим с этим, тем лучше, я верю.
Спасибо за ваши мысли и голосование!

Hello JC, I´m having fun reading your articles. You know how to trick me and stay put to continue reading all of it without a coffee break. There´s a lot to swallow you know. Well, you need an answer to EVERYTHING you had said on the article as FAST and as FREE to say YES or NO.
I love the idea. It gives everyone more space and opportunity to earn and more ideas to evolve.
Adding an option for more earning opportunities like the USE and SHARE, it is a very good idea for good for the environment too. It is a sort of reusing things and at the same time, we´ll get earnings, is an awesome idea. The mother nature will love the Empowr Community for that. – You´ll get 2 thumbs up from me.

Reply·20 days ago

Katherine, you are funny! I hope you did take a coffee break, though... too much to digest in one sitting (but I'm happy you made it through).

Yes, I had earlier included a very long section about the impact on mother earth, as global warming is, in my opinion, one of the top issues facing humanity in the coming years. But I cut it all out, except for the few sentences that were included, so that the people (who don't care about that topic) wouldn't have to read it. Thanks for point this out. Capitalism is pushing mother nature to her limits, and she's starting to get upset. As another billion consumers come out of poverty and into consumerism, she will be showing her anger more often and with more passion. The time is now to see what we can do to get more out of every drill, car, chair and computer that's not being utilized to its capacity.
Thanks for your thumbs up!

Reply·20 days ago

If I have more thumbs to give, you will get more, lol

I am happy that you think that way, I am also concerned on the damages we (in general) did to the earth, If the earth had got enough ( or push to the limit as you said) we have nowhere to run and hide, no matter how well built technology we have.

Hey JC, really Empowr has a lot of potentials to do all the ideas mentioned become possible and since the brainy like you and the others behind it has tested and planned this for a long time. I´m sure the result will turn out perfectly in the end. Think what you have achieved now, it is huge without any investors around. Only the brainy you and the rest of the brainy team and the brainy community, thank goodness I´m in :P

Reply·20 days ago

Hi Brian
I feel this is the best community announcement ever made on empowr because I believe this idea can really bring a huge change on empowr. Also its a big challenge for us but being a success coach I am ready to take the challenge to make it a success and I am sure that all the other success coaches will also take this challenge and will work for the success of this Idea.

You should implement this idea as soon as possible and I am sure that it will be a huge success.

Vikash Chokhani

Reply·20 days ago

Vikash, many thanks for your comments and vote.
The voting has just started, as you can see above, but thus far, the Yes's seems to be outnumbering the No's -- so everyone at empowr is getting both excited and scared. There are a lot of moving parts, more than meet the eye at first glance, but we are up to the challenge if you are!

Reply·20 days ago

I will need to re-read this to understand it better, but initially few questions for clarification.
This will limit products being sold to local areas?
This will stop the use of drop shippers?
It will require all products to be part of the sellers physical inventory before "Providing" whether it draws interest or not?
Return on investment will be subject to the available physical funds of Empowr. Cashouts that take time can become a hardship for Transporters and Providers (which will have to stock up on inventory) to meet goals. This may be covered in your up coming updates. It seems this will be moving to digital products being offered.

Reply·20 days ago

Hi James, yes products can be limited to certain areas. Drop shippers can still do their thing. Return on investment is not just cash but earnings and access to the exploding marketplace. Transporters will be able to get cash faster, given that their part is complete the moment they accomplish the delivery. Thanks for the read and your upcoming re-read.

Reply·20 days ago

This ideas expressed are exciting. I think Empower will go very far with these new changes. Very happy and excited about the coming changes.

Reply·20 days ago

Many thanks for your vote, Ron!

Reply·20 days ago

Basically, I am optimistic and I agree with updates!
To vote is easy. The problem is to know what vote, what happens after applying all proposals voted!
I come true on April 25. 5 years of activity in FanBox / empowr ( https://www.screencast.com/t/QopDxb3Qc5 ) and believe that these changes drastically alter the initial conception.
Basically, it is another platform!
I will return after rereading this news!
In any case, success and maximum health of all!

Hello Lulia! First off, wow! 5 years! Thanks for the screenshot. We've been through a lot together.
Yes, it definitely takes things to another level. "Everything, Fast and Free" is something that isn't easy for other companies to offer, but we can do it, I sincerely believe, given all the components we've already built and tested together. Thanks for your re-read; looking forward to your additional thoughts.
And happy birthday again! 5 years! Much respect to you.

Dear John

I like everything very much. Well done, as always, we all have a lot of work.

But I want to touch on such a question as security, personally, I can lose my account in a jiffy, following the link of the attacker, and then I will not prove anything to anyone. By whom and when goods were purchased from my account and the account as a whole was deleted

I am now interested in security, I have put a lot of time and energy to have here what I have, and I want to preserve and multiply it

I respect you and your entire team, but I have reason to worry about this

Regards, Yuriy

Reply·20 days ago

Yuriy, you have good reason to be worried about security - and this is something we have thought about a lot, and worked hard on improving for these features. After you learn about all the details, I am very much looking forward to hearing your thoughts and whether you feel more confident about it all. Hopefully you'll be impressed. Thanks for your vote.

And again I am overwhelmed, impressed, excited and in awe. And that on a bad day, as I experience it myself. It was the kick in the behind that I needed, the injection with vitamin Enthusiasm that turns on the bright light again. How fortunate I feel to be part of this adventure. I feel proud to be working and teaching here. I am bubbling again with excitement and anticipation of what more is going to come out of this box of Pandora team. Time and again the most inspired and innovating ideas that find their origins in people with a vision and a mission. Thank you, empowr team, thank you, Brian, thank you JC. I am in favor of all that is proposed.

I think participating in this new type of economy will be challenging and exciting. Perseverance and flexibility will be important. Thank you, Brian, JC and the empowr team for introducing these changes and new opportunities.

Reply·20 days ago

Wow, Annet, you could not have been more accurate, in my opinion: it will be challenging and exciting; and preservative and flexibility are the most important 2 traits that it takes for all great success, according to survey after survey done with the most successful people in the world.
Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and understanding. It is that kind of community fuel that gives us hope and motivation on this end.

Hi Annet, that's definitely an interesting way to put it... I suppose it does feel like a science fiction world at times! :) Awesome, glad to have you on board with the features that JC discussed. You're right - flexibility and perseverance are necessary ingredients. The empowr community has shown time and time again, that it has both of those ingredients. Glad to have you on the team, Annet!

Pete, I think it should be, because the people that came a long time ago (before there were daily goals) had already put in a lot. You've got my word that it will be.
