I use it every day all day in my office. I've always worked much more effectively with my feet up, I guess the blood goes to my brain. The zero gravity chair really improved things for me. I now work a lot in our vacation home, and my original zero gravity chair was no longer available, so I bought this one. It's 50% more $s than my original chair, but that's to be expected 10 years alter I guess. The recline release control on the arm is an improvement: the chair doesn't accidentally recline or un-recline. However, my original chair had a much narrower pillow under my feet, and I liked that better. This one is a full two feet wide at the base, and goes all the way to the floor, making it harder to navigate around in the tight space by my desk, either to get in/out of the chair or to get around it. You have to put one foot on either side of the thing in order to sit down or get up. I bought the microsuede cushions, since that worked well for me in my old chair. Still works great. After 10 years, my old chair's microsuede is getting slightly worn, but not too bad for daily use. The head pillow (on my old chair and the new chair) isn't ideally placed for my working position, using my laptop plus a large monitor on an arm. But it's not too hard to move it around. ![]() |
