Tips for larger AMCOs

Hi everyone,

Did you hit your Daily Goal on at least one (1) day last month?

If so, the empowr algorithms accelerated the maturation of some of your profits, at the end of last month.

That means that you received an accelerated matured cash out (AMCO) at the end of last month…

… that you can shop with right now…

… or cash out right now…

… or utilize to increase your earnings even further.

 

AMCOs are another way that the empowr community works to accomplish its mission.

The purpose of AMCOs is to reward people that are working extra hard to grow the empowr economy…

… as measured by the attainment of their Daily Goals.

Growing the empowr economy is critical for it to survive and thrive, as we have discussed at length recently.

Do you want a bigger AMCO at the end of this month (October)?  

  

Below are 5 tips to maximize your AMCO….

… followed by the ultimate formula for your success in empowr.

  

 

TIP 1   Hit your Daily Goal as many times as you can

Pay close attention to this area (at the top right of any profile page):

That area shows you how many shares, posts, bids and listings you need to hit your Daily Goal.

Click anywhere within that area, to see how many days you hit your Daily Goal, since the 1st of this month (October).

 

(Since October just started, you can only have 0, 1, 2 or 3 showing at this time – because its only October 3rd today).

 

The more days you hit your Daily Goal, the larger your AMCO will be, at the end of October.

  

TIP 2    To hit your Daily Goal, of course you need to list at least one non-rejected product per day

Later, when your product is reviewed by moderators, if it is rejected, it won’t end up counting toward your Daily Goal for the day you listed it.

Therefore:

A.  Make sure you only list products that will NOT get rejected. Check out the marketplace guidelines.

B.  To be absolutely sure you don’t miss your Daily Goal, I suggest listing more than one item per day, so that if one ends up getting rejected, you still have other listings from that day that were approved, so you don’t end up missing your Daily Goal for that day.

Does this make sense? 

You might hit your Daily Goal when you list something, but if it gets reviewed a few days later and is rejected, and if that was the only product you listed on that day, you will end up having missed your daily listing goal, so you will have missed your overall Daily Goal for that day (even if you hit your sharing, posting and bidding goals).

So by listing multiple products on any day, you reduce the risk that you end up missing your Daily Goal for that day.

Of course the best way to reduce the risk that your items are rejected, is by following the marketplace guidelines, and ensuring that the things you list are products (not services or digital content) and are of sufficient value. (No one wants to purchase your old toothbrush or toothpicks).

  

TIP 3  Pay close attention to your marketplace listing approval rate

A.  If 9 or more of the last 10 items you listed were approved, your next listing will be auto-approved.

B.  If 6-8 of the last 10 things you listed were approved, your next listing will not be auto-approved. It will need to be reviewed before it is available in the marketplace. If it ends up being approved, it will count toward your Daily Goal on the day it was approved, not necessarily the day you listed it.

C.  If only 5 (or less) of the last 10 things you listed were approved, you will be locked out of listing new items for 7 days. That means that you will be unable to hit your Daily Goal for 7 days.

To hit the most Daily Goals during the month, you really want to ensure that your marketplace approval rate stays at 9 or 10 (out of 10).

 

TIP 4   Is the community finding value in the things you’re selling?

In other words, is the community buying your items?

If YES, you’ll notice that, over time, your AMCOs are growing larger.

If NO, then your listings are not bringing value to the community, and you will not notice your AMCOs growing larger.

Does this make sense? 

If no one is buying the things you’re selling, then no one will getting any value out of them.

            If your items are not selling, why not?

            Did you set the fixed price too high?

 If you sold it via auction, did you set the Reserve Price too high? 

                        Did you set the shipping price too high?

The higher the value (price) of the items you sell, you will notice your AMCOs getting larger as time goes by.

 

TIP 5    But what if the items you listed in September, don’t sell until October or beyond?

No worries. You’ll get “credit” for them (via your AMCOs) in October and beyond.

So just keep selling valuable items, and your AMCOs will catch up with the value you are bringing.

 

 

OK. Are you ready for the 
   Optimal formula for maximizing your earnings & cash outs

 

The formula to get the most from the empowr economy is simple:

         The more you put in, the more you get out

 

In other words, to maximize the amount of your AMCO, bring as much value as you can to the empowr community.

You do that by:

A.  Building your Circle of Trust…

… helping your fellow citizens earn as much as possible…

… so that they, in turn, are motivated to do the same for you…

… helping you earn from your posts…

… buying the things you are selling…

… promoting those things to their Circle of Trust…

 … all to help you maximize your earnings.

 

Remember, the people in your Circle of Trust are real people.

If you treat them with respect, kindness and love…

… and are quick to forgive them when you have the opportunity to…

… your mutual trust will grow.

 

And they will become highly reliable partners for you…

…  people you’ll be able to count on, now and in the future, to help you earn and succeed.

 

B.  Hitting your Daily Goals

Your Daily Goal acts as a personal guide.

It helps you to know when you’ve done enough on empowr, so that you’re not spending your whole day on empowr…

… and therefore have extra time daily, to spend with your loved ones and on the other priorities in your life.

 

C.  Protect and grow the empowr economy

For empowr to become a place where you can reliably earn many thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars per month…

… the empowr economy needs to be robust and full of very good products.

Along with not selling low value items yourself, it is very helpful for you to NOT bid, buy, promote or sponsor garbage products that you find to be of low value.

By doing that, you’ll be encouraging everyone to think more seriously about how to generate more value in empowr.

Along with not buying garbage, be sure to report anything you see that does not meet the marketplace guidelines.

At the end of the day, we all need empowr to become a quality place…

 full of quality people (that people can learn to easily trust)…

… and quality products (that people could value and keep as their own after purchasing them)…

… if empowr, and you as a citizen of empowr, wish to find big and long-term success here.

 

       For empowr to grow and succeed, you must grow and succeed.

       For you to grow and succeed here, empowr must grow and succeed.

 

So those of us that are serious about our own success here, should invest a little time daily in pushing up the quality of the empowr economy and community.

If we all do our part – to serve ourselves AND each other -- there’s really nothing that can stop us from achieving any goals we set for ourselves.

The original comment has not here, but I managed to read it and save it... Thank you dear May is a useful summary of the rules for sale in the marketplace empowr. Many people groping and must learn how to sell. I work hard and I try to make my work was in accordance with the rules of the marketplace. It should also help others. As far as I advise others ... Would a comprehensive detailed description of the terms and conditions marketplace for creating ads. Many small technical details for sale and advertising is nowhere mentioned...I wish you much success dear May, I also wish success to all honest citizens empowr:-)

Your video needs to be updated.When members join they need to be aware of the fact that the learning videos contradict most of what is happening now with all these new requirements.When an item is rejected ,how is it not known the next item may be good?Some items get rejected because a letter was not capitalized,some stating Unknown reason.By blocking us form listing,how does that help us? You are treating the situation like all is intentional, Also,why do some members get items excepted when those items are 100% against market place rules?A blog with $100 shipping fee,a recipe or e-book with a $10-50 shipping fee?But some members items get rejected because of a word spelled wrong,etc.Viewing the Market last month i saw 100s of these items excepted,many were just unbelievable but .these members made money, while good hard working ,try to go with market guidelines,try to sell real items,members are blocked form earning because of a rejected listing?? As far as the Market info above ,Is basically ,If we do not have very expensive items to sell or own a business?We are basically wasting our time here..All we will be doing is paying back ad fees ,etc.all hard work will not pay out for us.One last thing, Upgrading power levels,so we can earn more money and have more cash outs is what we are paying for So.. when will this happen?

Thank you for your suggestion on videos. 
Listing: 
A listing never gets rejected, for the title not being capitalized. If your listing is rejected, you are notified by the system automatically, and you have a free personal Success Coach to help you with how to list correctly. 
Blog listing has no shipping option. 
ebooks and any intangible items are no more allowed to list as product. It can only be listed as blog after creating a Blog for those items. 

How to maintain your listing auto-approval 
1. Create a listing that get approved 
2. Avoid bidding and buying incorrect listing 
3. Don't sponsor incorrect listings 

How to list to get approved 
When you create a listing for a product: 
- Describe the product clearly as if you are a buyer how you would like to know. 

- Describe the shipping method clearly as if you are a buyer how you would like to know. 

- The image must be the precise image of that product 

- No contact information, no URL not even in the image 

- Correct category 
------- 
Do not bid and buy incorrect listing. Because if those listings get rejected, your ability auto approval will be lost and even worse to get blocked for 7 days. 
You can help, by reporting any incorrect listing, and do not bid or buy any incorrect listings.

Ty, I know how to create a listing,its not hard to do, and yes i know e-books etc,don't have shipping fees but that didn't stop the market for approving many of them,not just 1 item but these members had 2 or more.each day. if the market has guidelines why does the system reject 1 persons item but excepts another?there has to be a glitch in the system.Also, if we do not have expensive items to sell or have a business,we will make no profits and our AMCO will be small.we will be paying more for add fees than what we will be earning.When i joined it was not this way..Now ,the learning videos for selling are useless.That Christmas sweater would be rejected now,

Just because some of the bad listings went automatically LIVE due to listing approval score of 90-100% of that seller, doesn't mean they won't be rejected, as soon as they are checked, they will be taken down and rest assured that those bad listings are not helping anyone earn a single dime. Un saludo JC muy buen mensaje, pero creo que caemos en una contradicción, con respecto a los AMCOS del mes de Septiembre....en que aspectos.....
1) Muchos cumplimos las metas diarias y así sus bonus extras....por tanto es la esencia primordial de lograr ese incentivo.

2) El hecho de listar quizás por encima de los objetivos diarios establecidos, tampoco sea garantía, porque si comentas que con solo tener 1 list rechazado ya no se tomaría en cuenta la meta diaria, va afectar a cada persona porque podrá estar por debajo de los rangos de auto aprobado, 9 de 10, 6 de 10, o estar por encima de los 5 rechazados que automáticamente le bloquea esa opción y así no permitir cubrir sus metas, creo pienso y opino que tampoco debamos caer en un desaforado parámetro de listar, uno, dos o tres por encima de la meta por seguridad, si cada uno seguimos los parámetros que se establecen, no habría porque dudar en que pueda ser rechazado, solamente que al grupo de moderadores, no sean objetivos y se caiga en lo subjetivo para la evaluación, ejemplo, en algún momento tuve un blogs premiun el cual tenia muy buena cabida y ventas en su lapso de tiempo a julio, en agosto se le marco como rechazado, y me dejo la duda de como valoran esa parte, también creo que a medida que crecen los ciudadanos, crece el numero de list que se publiquen, por tanto ese lapso a 24 horas prácticamente no se cumple, por tanto ese lapso de tiempo se dilata aun mas.

3) Si bien esta el apartado de poder reportar quien no cumpla las directrices, también debería ponerse en atención que si eres sponsor de un producto y el mismo es rechazado no afecte a esa segunda persona si al vendedor que ha hecho el listado.

4) hablamos de productos tangibles para su venta, pero también esta la contradicción en que al tener ventas efectivas ese saldo no recae de manera automática al vendedor, propuestas, que se vea relejado a cada vendedor o en su defecto, depositado en su paypal, o en una alternativa, solo ser usado para el mismo market, daría dinámica de igual manera si la idea es construir esa economía y no estaríamos saliendo del balance o del bolsillo de cada ciudadano.

5) Punto ya comentado al comunicado de ayer y la inquietud quizás de muchos en latinoamerica por el contacto con otros perfiles, las expectativas, creadas para finales de julio, y del trabajo de agosto, que muchos tuvieron buen fruto a su trabajo, vean como septiembre, y estando en otro nivel de poder ese AMCO, no se sin tomar en cuenta los días que muchos estuvimos bloqueados, sin notificación, tomarse la idea de hacerlos efectivos a full, no se reflejo en la cantidad de madurado posible, por tanto de un mes a otro no hubo rédito al trabajo enfocado de cada ciudadano por cumplir sus metas y bonus extras, no pretendo generar inconvenientes es solo mi opinión a nivel general y quedan inquietudes.

esperando de laguna manera poder aportar un granito mas en nuestro trabajo diario, son mis inquietudes particulares y creo es buen momento de exponerlas y hacerlas saber, se que empowr es muy global, y estamos en diferentes idiomas, traspasamos mas allá de las fronteras físicas......Un saludo Pedro

Cada cosa que hacemos en empowr es para garanticar que las personas que realmente estan trabajando la programa son los que gana los AMCOs en vec de bots y defraudores. 
Por segundo al principio de julio y agusto todo lo que perconas estaba listando que aceptado sin ser moderado. Si alguien reporto uno de estos listings despues de esa temporada el listing hubiera sido moderado. Si un listing (blog, servicio, o producto) no tienie algo correcto no importa si ya tiene bids o esta por terminar. Es importante segurar que todo lo que esta en empowr es lo mejor para todos en la plataforma. 
Como a dicho JC, ya hacido mas de tres meses que las cosas cambiron por blogs y productos. No deben de estar sponsorando las cosas que saben que no estan correctos especialmente si entienden como listando y moderando trabaja como usted ha mostrado. 
Por quatro, hay una diferencia entre aldo vendido y una venta cumpliedo. Si una venta no esta cumpliedo (sent, rated, and not disputed) no podemos guaranticar las gancias. 
A su punto final. Quando cambiamos algo en la plataforma JC, Brian, Mila, yo, y todos los demas que responda aqui contestan las preguntas sin imprtancia de donde biene una persona o que idoma habla. Le damos a todos la mismo informacion y estamos aqui para que todos suceden. 
Espero ver lo como SC vien pronto. Necesitamos mas SCs que hablan diferentes idomas que realmente ama lo que estamos haciendo.

Hello Sir, I am a purple star power user and I have been here for last 1 year. I follow each and every rule of empowr. Additionally I passed the SC exam and was thinking to join as a SC from this month, but last month despite hitting my daily goals 30 times and achieved bonuses 28 times , I got only $3.25. I also sold a product for $700 (original price was $150) and I delivered the product to the buyer on 24th September,2016 through a international courier service provider and have a proof of the delivery of the product.The buyer was 2000 km away form my home. Further I bought two products last month. Therefore I wanna know why did I get a very low AMCO?? I was very happy on this great platform but last month result has really discouraged me!! 
I have made a details of my last month activities through screenshots, please Sir check this out.

This does help explain why people aren't getting the large AMCO's they want. Another tip would be to buy some products as that brings economic value to the community. Again make sure it is a good listing you are buying. If not you are promoting bad habits, Not sure what a bad listing is PM me.

JC - I have listed some very valuable real products that I have been selling and know that I could do much better but at the same time... If I sell 10 products I would have to ship those products with my money, wait until the buyer gets the product before the money can be added to my balance and still have to wait 90 days before that money mature.. Not so satisfying to me..

It would be great if the seller can received the money ( as in matured to cash out or spend) for the item sold and received by the buyer.. 

Also, I have completed daily tasks 8 days last month WITH real valuable products listed.. I don't know if the AMCO profit distribution is already over but all I have in my balance is $3.92 , this can't be real.

So I spent $19 on ad fee subscription, at least 2 hours for 8 days completing tasks and over $30 shipping items last month ... Am I suppose to be losing money or earning money here?

Hi JC and others in the empowr team, especially our lovely Empowr Queen May, for you all, I have found a new love for all the long hours, hard work, great personalities and inspiration you all bring to empowr. And this information is very clear also there has been so much work done since we last spoke here in comments and it is and has been an exciting moment :)
I have heard so many complaints about rejections especially from sponsoring, if you sponsor something that does not provide quality how is that different from listing something that is not quality? Provide quality in all aspects or you are just robbing the empowr citizens, this is why you/ we / I get rejected for bad sponsoring.
Anyway I just wanted to share my gratitude to you JC for always providing for us the steps to earn here in empowr, and most of all May Ram you are such an awesome lady and an inspiration to us all, if only people knew how hard you work, thank you for all you do for myself and everyone here on empowr, and to the empowr team Thank you for giving me this opportunity to be able to soon have my own business and something I can be proud of.
Anyway I have been known to talk too much so for now, just a really big hug and thank you EMPOWR.

Thanks JC! Now I fully understand. I would be more careful in placing prices on my products for easy purchase. I sold a little bit last September and I have purchased a lot of products at the marketplace. The payment has automatically deduct on my empowr balance even the products has already unavailable at the marketplace. And sad to say most of it has no value and the seller did not response on my messages although they are very active in here. It is very unfair on my side.

Thanks you JC to explain again AMCO system , but I was even following most guidelines even sold old Mac worth 600$ and courier at time in another city and finished all process but WEll I got 00 even IAm at purple , I am waiting if my account get start with real earning it stopped since August 19 when I paid my ad platform fee from PayPal 200$ and my rebate 99$+ all other real earning pending since that time this month also all is 00 me and my coach also raise complaint and but stoll waitung since one months , I have given all valid proof , I am still waiting with big hope , this new update may help me Thanks Love you Empowr:)

This explanation is very much appreciated and helpful in many ways.How ever there is much URGENT need of improvement in communication between the supervisor,the success coach and the citizens.There are many cases of wrong rejection,delays of approval of products and not satisfactory customized replies. I think most of the replies are generic and does not study the situations represented.I see many items which not up to the standard or requirements and they get approved while items that fully comply and are of value are just being hols for over 2 wks and no answer to the problem.
If the Empowr is facing some constraints this should be communicated to us so that we know exactly what is going on.
Some of us are putting a lot of hours and doing a ot to help build this company and I think we deserve a proper treatment....
We are in for the good of the company because its success is our Success..
We spend much energy defending the company

Hello Brian,
In the month of September I had sold items over $1500.And My received AMCO is too low that I can not ship a single item to any buyer..I don't understand if what went wrong.i just learnt as you told that hitting daily target doesn't only matters but if there is no sale then economy can not survive.This is a matter of great concern as I sold more than 25 items and for all those items I myself will have to make transaction dispute while all buyers paid for the items and provided shipping addresses..
Today itself I sold 3 items but what is the benefits if the AMCO is not sufficient to purchase items from my dealers and ship them.More interestingly my all items have overseas shipment.
I would be happy if you care to investigate the matter..

The item sold in the month August, we got AMCO credited in our Paypal Account as on 16 th September and then by 20th September in our Bank account.After that I started shipping to buyer because money only can do that..They are all overseas shipping will take time but it does not mean because of this Item sold in September would not get AMCO,Just tell me how would I send items without money.

i think there is something wrong in empowr..many of us complaining regarding amco..this is very unfair to those who work hard for it and dont have an idea how they calculate it..even if we sold items but our amco is not enough to pay for the shipment..even me i receive zero which is very unfair that i get nothing in exchange for all my hardwork..i dont really understand and until now no one ever give a clarification in this cases...

this is really demotivates us.i know someone in empowr who sell low value product and dont have sale for it nor he never tried to ship his product to the buyer but surprisingly he gets hundred of dollars of amco..very unfair..all amco guidelines i had follow and sell quality products.as far as i know i have more or less $600 profit in the month of september but unfortunately i receive zero amount...i want ti ship my product to my buyer but how could it be i didnt receive any penny from you. i want to escalate this unjustice thing..please investigate what is hapenning..i know lot of people complaining also...thank you and have a nice day ahead

I need clarification on few points given below:
1. After submitting a product for listing, after how long it takes to approve or reject? I had submitted my product for listing 4 days ago and haven't received any notification.
2. I had submitted listing of my vacation membership costing $2500 to new buyer. Why was it rejected? I have all valid documents for transferring membership.
3. Before completing 90 days for cash out, I have become blue first degree power user and contributed large revenue to empowr. Have you rewarded me suitable? I have not completed all 4 goals and I hate LIST goal because my listing gets rejected. 
4. I have formed a circle of more than 600 trusted citizens but if they don't close my loops in time who is going to be blamed? Despite informing them that they should buy products or services from marketplace or win bids and then sponsor those items, they do not put efforts to increase revenues. 

Your automatic system is working perfectly well and is to be appreciated.

thanks for valuable information and clarification about LISTING AND AMCO, i am at purple and facing Real cash issue since august 19 i hav paid my 200$ fees from paypal since then i did not get rebate as well all ohter real income are 0 this month also all is 0 even hitting 20+ days goal as well bought and sold item too. my case still pending since more then 1 month my coach and me already raisded issue , kindle look into this matter its very serious getting 0 after working and follwoing all guidelines, Hope this update wtihll solve it soon so ic an work patiently Thanks a Lot to give us chance to learn and disccuess problems:)

I was a SC for the whole of August and upto mid September.I did receive SC earnings yesterday,no bonuses,and I should have received around 20% of my August SC earnings as AMCOs at the end of September but I haven't received any. 
I also achieved all my daily goals for more than 10 days in September and I am validated and at the highest power level I have ever been.I also bought 3 products and sold 2 products in that same month,all shipped and marked as received so I definitely brought in economic value,but despite all these efforts I didn't receive any AMCOs,what could be the reason?

hey Evelyn 
its difficult for me to be happy, when my market listings r frozen starting 14th september and im still banned or whatever the reason is up to today. 
every time i ask some1 for atleast some information, im ignored, i dont wanna be an ass and whine like i do, but im tired of being unable to list an item for 20+ days. there is no ban for such period of time, is there ?? 
i just want a conclusion, of what my options r moving further ..... noone cares, only people that shouldnt be worried about me, listen and try to find solutions, and that gives me a slightly bad taste. 
a platform thats build for 15 years, and not a single person has the authoroity to open my market privileges ??? its extremely suspicious tbh .... 
i realize i made mistakes when listing at the start of september, but why cant i prove ive learned and im smarter now, not making those mistakes ... 

its all fun and games and life's good, except this little fact, that infact changes a whole lot :(

You are absolutely right Martin, I hit daily goals 30 times with bonuses and also sold a product worth $150 for $700 on empowr marketplace . But I received only $3.25. I know some people who are in green and blue and hit merely 2-3 times goals but they received more than $100. It's really frustrating plus injustice. If it continues no one will ever sell products on empowr. I hope it's all due to some technical error.

Does this means this AMCO is only for retailers or marketers who actuall sell physical products? Since most people don't know how to market or sell things online, this sounds kinda hard. I guess Empowr is for everyone, but this AMCO makes it not for everyone.
The main problem is because digital items are no longer allowed to list, people like me don't have much things to sell and again even if I have, shipping will be troublesome if there's no reliable courier service. If digital items are allowed, it'll be more easier and a lot of people will be happy to sell. Just my opinion :(

Getting Started on Facebook

Creating a Facebook page is not only a great way to grow your brand and earn referrals, it also allows you interact with existing and potential fans and customers. In this blog post, we’ll show you how to get started on Facebook and share several tips on making the most of your page.

1 – Create a Facebook Page

To create your Facebook Page, you must first log in to your personal Facebook account. (If you don’t have an account, you can sign up here.)

Go to https://www.facebook.com/pages/create/ to begin creating your page. Choose the Brand or Product box, then choose your product type. Write in your product name and agree to the Facebook Pages Terms.



Fill out your About, Profile Photo, Favorites and Preferred Page Audience sections. You can choose any name you’d like for your page; your brand name or a search phrase (keyword) relating to your product niche are both good options for a name. When filling out the About section, don’t forget to add a link to your corresponding Zazzle store and include your Associate (or referral) ID in the Website box.



2 – Create User Name, Add Cover Photo & Create a Button



Creating a username makes it easy for others to tag you and find your page.



Adding a cover photo improves the aesthetic of your page. It’s good to try out several images to see which one looks best with your profile photo. The cover photo displays at 828 pixels wide by 315 pixels tall on computers and 640 pixels wide by 360 pixels tall on smartphones.



Last but not least, add a Shop Now button to your page and include a link to your Zazzle store or your own personal website or blog. Don’t forget to include your in the link.



3 – Review All Page Tips

Facebook has a great tool for you to optimize your Facebook page called Page Tips which you can find on the right-hand side of your page.



It’s important to review all of the tips in the Page Tips tool because it offers suggestions on improving your page’s content, visibility, and more!



4 – Invite Friends & Family to Share Your Page

Once you’ve created your Facebook page, you can invite your friends and family to come like your page through Facebook, email and by sharing your page on your own personal timeline.



5 – Keep Your Page Updated

Post on your Facebook page 1-2 times a day with different media. Don’t just post your products as links, but share images, videos, and offers. You can do this clicking Add Photo/Video, then uploading, your image file(s). After your image file(s) uploads, you can add a link or text to the post in the status section.



You can upload an offer by selecting Offer, Event+ from your update box.

6 – Interact with Other Pages

Don’t just post your own updates; share other page’s posts on your own timeline that relate to the theme of your page. Double-check that you are posting, as your page and on your page, and not as or on your personal Facebook profile.



On other people’s Facebook pages, interact with them by liking, tagging, commenting or contributing your own posts to the page. It’s important to remember that the goal of interacting with other pages is to grow your brand and online personality, and not to promote products on these pages.



7 – Review Your Insights

Don’t forget to check your Facebook Insights to see your page metrics including views, likes, reach and engagement. This is a great tool to really understand your page and see which of your posts are performing best.



8 – Connect with Other Social Media

Have a Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr or other Social Media account? Link them to your Facebook account by placing your Facebook page link in the About section or Description of your other account.

Have your own personal blog or website? Create a Facebook “Like” and/or “Like Us on Facebook” widget and add them, on your blog or website.

3 Tips for Creating Referral Links

The Zazzle Associates Program lets you earn money when you share Zazzle products (or any other Zazzle page) on your blog, website, or social media sites. It’s a great way to make money on Zazzle, and best of all, it’s free and easy! Today, we’d like to go over three important tips for creating your referral links that can help you in your promotional efforts.


1. Remember when to use “&” instead of “?”.


With the Zazzle Associate Program, you can add your referral (Associate) ID to any Zazzle link and earn 15% per sale when a purchase is made through your link. Your referral (Associate ID) is what allows us to track the sale back to you. In order to create a referral link (a link with your referral ID attached), you will need to use the “rf” parameter which calls for you to add “?rf=” at the end of your link followed by your referral (Associate) ID. However, if you’re linking to a page that already has a “?” in the URL, you will need to use “&” instead. For example, department and category pages have a “?” in the URL, so instead of adding “?rf=” to the link followed by your ID, you will need to add “&rf=”.

2. Add tracking codes.


Did you know that you can add tracking codes to your referral links? That’s right! You can add tracking to your links by using the “tc” parameter which means adding “&tc=” at the end of your referral link. Your actual tracking code, which will follow the “tc” parameter, can be anything you want it to be and up to 100 alphanumeric characters (and _ ,) in length. You can create your own tracking code for each channel (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, blog, etc.) you use for your promotional efforts to help you see where your referrals are coming from.

Tracking codes are important because they help you determine which of your promotional methods are working best for you. You can find the tracking codes reports in your Referral History CSV document in the “L” column.


3. Add promo codes.


You can also add a promo code to your referral links, so when someone clicks those links, the promo code will automatically be applied to the cart for that customer. Promoting deals and codes can help you bring in customers; when adding a promo code to your links, you can get creative with using calls to action like “instantly get x% off” or “buy now and get x% off”. You can add the promo code to a link by adding the “PM” parameter to your link, which means adding “&PM” at the end of your referral link. A good place to find a summary of all the current coupon codes is our Special Offers & Coupons page.

Now You Can Show 204 Products!

A little update has been made to the backend of your stores when selecting how many products you want to show. Before, the most, was 94. We just added one more option to this - you can now show up to 204 products per page!

How to Move Older Designs to New Products

Let’s talk about getting more ‘bang for the buck.’ Let’s say you have a design on a poster and it’s done really well in the marketplace; here’s how to extend your product offerings by putting that design quickly and easily across all products within ‘Custom Art and Posters.’


Here are the steps:

1. Go to your store where you sell the product you want to extend across other products.

2. Click on the ‘Statistics’ drop down arrow and select what will help you identify your top designs.


3. Select ‘Sort’ so the top items come to the top.


4. Click on the product with the design you want to copy over to a new product type.

5. Click on the ‘Customize It’ button

6. Click on the ‘Edit’ button and select ‘Copy’


7. Open a new browser window with a blank of the new product type in it.

8. Click Edit and then select Paste (You may need to refresh the page or select ‘Clear side.’)

9. Viola! Your design has been moved to a new product! Now go ahead and click on ‘Post for Sale’ to publish your new product.

4 Tips for Tagging Your Designs on Zazzle

Whether you are a first timer or a long timer, there are many different tips and tricks that can help your designs surface in our search. So get ready for today’s fun tip: tagging your designs!

Before we do, let’s discuss what tags are and where you can find them on Zazzle.


What Are Tags?

Tags are the way that we help designers group their designs together so that customers can find them. We allow you to add ten Power Tags for your designs, and this should be enough to place your designs on various pages on our site. Power tags will be considered for Zazzle site search and they are essential to ensure that your products are correctly indexed by our internal product directory. Make sure that the tags you use are the keywords customers would use to search for a product. A couple of things to remember about our tagging system:

The tags you use should only be descriptive of your design; they should not include anything about the product they’re associated with

Focus on the design, and do not add words like “custom,” personalized,” or related terms

Be sure to mirror any key terms you have used in your design title

Use singular or plural word when it makes sense, e.g. you only need to tag ‘wedding’ for your wedding stamp to show up on our ‘wedding stamps’ search results. You can tag ‘weddings’ if you, are specifically target, ‘weddings stamps’ search results which, has lower search volume.

Individual tags should have a minimum of 3 characters.

Build your tags around phrases, not just individual words. Phrases should not exceed 5 words. In order to input phrases correctly, use quotation marks around the whole phrase

Bad Example: spongebob, squarepants, pineapple, under, the, sea, sandy, cheeks, patrick, star

Better Example: spongebob squarepants, pineapple under the sea, sandy cheeks, patrick star

You can add your tags in the “Edit product details” section of the designer sign up process:


How Do Tags Work?

You’ll notice two rows of tags that mirror each other. This is not a mistake. Each row of tags leads to different pages on our site. Since your tags will be used for both rows be sure you choose terms/phrases that will, makes sense with the product appended at the end of them.

And now, let’s cover tips on how to best choose your terms/phrases!


Tip #1 – Brainstorm Common Terms
What are some of the words you would use to describe your design? If you were looking for the design you created, what words would you use to search for it on Zazzle? Use these as your starting point for your tags.


Tip #2 – Research Tags on Zazzle
Once you have a list of words that you think you would use to search for your design, the next step is to check out how other designers use their tags to surface in our search. If you see a couple of designs that you think are very similar to your own, check out how they use their tags. You may be able to see how they have achieved some success with their method of tagging their designs.


Tip #3 – Use Google’s Keyword Planner for Additional Research
Being surfaced in our search for the list of tags you have is good, but are people searching on the wider Internet using any of these terms? That’s where using the Google keyword planner comes into play. It is a great way to check the monthly search volume for the words you plan on using as tags, as well as offering some related terms you might what to use. In this way, you can make sure that people are looking for designs like yours in search engines using the terms you have on your list.


Tip #4 – Audit Your Successful Designs
Nothing breeds success like more success, so if you have been adding designs for a while and a couple of them are doing really well, audit them against your less successful designs. If you are new to designing on Zazzle check out the designs that show up on the first page of different search pages and see what tags they use. You may not be able to mimic all of them, but seeing how others are making their designs show up may give you some ideas, along with using the above tips.
